The FAQS page on CollecToons has been added Auctions How do I sell a ctoon in an auction? When you are logged in to your account, simply click on the "My Collection" link on the left-hand menu. Then, search through your collection for the ctoon that you wish to sell. Once you have found it, click on the icon below it that looks like a little hammer. This will bring you to the auction listing page. Just fill in the amount you wish to sell it for, select a time that you want it to last, and click SUBMIT. Your auction has begun! cToons What are plaques? A plaque is a very special and very limited type of ctoon. Think of it as a medal or award. Very few get made, and they are hard to find. You can view all the current plaque by clicking on the Plaques link on the main menu. What are the ctoon rarities? At this time there are 6 different rarity levels. They are common, uncommon, rare, very rare, crazy rare and holy rare. Just from the names you can tell that the rarer a ctoon is, the harder it is to get. What are ctoons? cToons (short for Collectoons) are collectible images that are used in the site. They are basically interactive clip art, and not only are fun to collect, but also each have their own facts about the show they come from. cWorld Building What is a cWorld? A cWorld is your own personal picture frame or gallery. Whatever you want to call it! You can display your favorite cToons on it and show them off to your friends! How do I design my cWorld? Once you are logged in, you can click on the "My cWorld" link on the main menu. Click on the Build button, and you will be in design mode. Click on My Collection to pick the cToons you want to display, and click on Change Background to change the background image of your gallery. You can also drag cToons in the "Remove Area" to make them disappear from your cWorld picture. Live Trading What is live trading? Live trading is when 2 users trade each other ctoons in real time. How do I trade live? This can be initiated from a cWorld page or an auction page. Just chose a username from the viewers list in the chat section, select the phrase "Do you want to trade?" and click submit. Your offer will be sent to the other user, and if they accept, your live trade session will begin. On the live trade screen, you will be able to view each others collections and chose the ctoons you wish to trade. Once you have agreed upon a trade, click MAKE OFFER. This will begin the transfer process. Once both users have confirmed the trade, the ctoons will exchange and you can trade again! Offline Trading How do I send an offline trade? You will need to send an offline trade offer from another players cworld. You can find them by doing a search from the Visit cWorlds page on the main menu, or just by surfing through all the cWorlds. To send a trade offer, click on the trade icon on the upper left corner of the page. It looks like 3 green arrows in a circle. This will open the trade selection page. Just click on the collection buttons to open your collections, chose the ctoons you want and the ones you are going to offer, and click SUBMIT. Your trade has been sent! What is an offline trade? An offline trade is a trade offer that can be sent to another user who is not available for a live trade at that time. Its an easy way to send an offer to another player in hopes of getting something you need for your collection. The Arcade What is the Arcade? The arcade is a section of the site where you can play games and earn points based on your scores. You can get there by clicking on "Play Games" on the main menu. At this time, however, that section is still under construction. The Bank What is the Bank? The bank is a special area that only premium users can access. It allows them to collect interest on their points. The higher their points, the better the interest rate they will earn. The Shops How do I buy ctoons? First you will need to be logged in. Then, click on the left-hand menu item called "Buy cToons". This will load the Collectowne picture, where all the shops are located. Just click on a store door, and you will load the store and its inventory. Pick the ctoon you want by clicking on the BUY button located below the image. Sometimes the shop sells out of its inventory, so check back again later to see what it has restocked. The Storage Locker What is the storage locker? The storage locker is a special area that only users with premium accounts can access. It is a place where they can store cToons instead of having everything in their visible collection. Its a good way to hide cToons you dont want to trade. The Trade Board What is the Trade Board? The Trade Board is a place where you can list something you have that you are willing to trade for something you want. How do I post a trade on the board? Click the menu item called "Trade Board". Once there, click on the button on the top right called "Post a Trade". You can chose the ctoons you want to offer by click on the "Chose cToons" button, and then clicking on the individual cToons. Then, you can type into the box what ctoons or points you would like to get for them. If someone sees your post and wants what you have, you might get what you want to! User Accounts How do I sign up? On the left hand side of the web page there is a link that says "Register now". Just click on that link, fill out the form and click SUBMIT. You will need to use a valid email address to verify your account. Once it is verified, your account is active and you can play online! User Collections How do I see my collection? Once you are logged in, just click on the menu item called "My Collection". You can view everything at the same time, or you can chose a set and sub-set from the dropdown menus to find specific cToons. You can also start auctions, delete, or load shops to buy more using the icons that appear below the cToon images. User Inbox What is the Inbox? The Inbox is your personal organizer to read and review all your personal messages, offline trade offers and trade board offers. I wouldnt donate a dime to collectoons (No Offense) There are other gaming sites that give you more for your money. |
