I love sports arguments: Lakers were soft, that is why they lost.

Celtics has best record in the league, had a +10.3 scoring differential, were something like 22 and 3 against the West and they were lucky?

Last year the Lakers had to go thru the Spurs,Jazz, and Nuggets. The Celtics had to go thru the Hawks,Cavs, and Pistons. At the end of the day the Lakers had the much rougher road to the finals and somewhat deserved the trophy more.

The Lakers being my 2nd fave team did not have much experience(besides Bryant and Fisher) in the NBA Finals. The series went 6 games,so Celtics fans try not to get too cocky since it wasnt a blowout except game 6.

The Celtics did win that series fairly and were the better team.I dont agree that the Celtics got 'lucky'.They definately werent the best championship team due to the fact it took them 7 games to beat the *snickers* Atlanta Hawks and took them 7 games to beat the Cavs.Dont expect a repeat this year.Garnett and Pierce are 32,and Allen is 33.Not to mention you guys lost James Posey to the Hornets.

The Lakers this year have a much better chance at winning the championship than the Celtics do.Especially now that Bynum is back and healthy.

Kobe is a problem. Unlike Jordan, he never learned a post game. The Celtics did exactly what you need to do to shut him down, force him to shoot jumpers, and crowd him in the lane. Bynum and Odum and going to fight for playing time, Gasol will get distracted like he did in Mephis without enough touches. I think New Orleans is a better pick to take the Championship that LA.

New Orleans?I agree they are a dangerously good team but they are lacking a true center and Peja is only good for 3-point shooting.Chris Paul is a great PG but it'll take a little bit more for them to take it.

I am eager to see how well the Phoenix Suns and others play with theyre new coaches.

Japanese Steak is not better than some nice kicks
The Refs will keep the Spurs away from the finals at all cost even though they are no longer capable, no mo cricket chirpin ratings :partyhat:
Lakes starters were not strong enough last year w/out Bynum. However I think puke walton, clunking vladdy needs to go they are the biggest cancer of the team. Sasa broken machine = overpaid.
Kobester will threepeat again with this young team. Dinosaurs aint going to repeat.
Need to start Ariza over Odumb.

OJ Mayo = next mamba. 20 points this year.
Rose = bust must.
Beasley = maybe bust.
Kevin Love= shud had stayed with Rudy Gay :thumb:

Kev Durant = overrated rookie last year.
Al Thornton = next lebronze!!
Portland isnt going nowhere they are pretty much the new warriors with less vet but more raw talent.

LAL are the best in the NBA. I watching them play Portland and the Clippers the other night and ya no doubt about it. But your wrong about Mayo. He wasn't ready when he left USC. He's not gonna be Rookie of The Year or an All-Starm probably not even soon. All he can do is shoot and that ain't gonna cut it. He needs to learn to take the ball to the basketball. He's gotta get tough. Heck, he's what 6'6''?
Kevin Love is a monster and he's gonna be a monster this year.

No, the Lakers are gonna choke.
And Kobe won't get it again.

Kobe won't have a 32ppg average are you nuts?
You got your stats way to high. There are 5 players of the court, it's a team game.

Oh and btw. Beasley's gonna be the best out of the year's draft. He's unbelibible.

PG-Jordan Farmar(we need him as a starter because Derrick Fisher is only a good clutch shooter and is affective in the final minutes of the game. SO we need him not to be tired.)Jordan Farmar is full of energy and can do his part

SG-Kobe Bryant

SF-Vladamir Radmonovich-Better then luke walton, I would have had Trevor Ariza, but we need a pure shooter in the starting line up.(I won't put lamar either because we can't put all the main guys as a starter, hes not a SF anyway.)

PF-Pau Gasol

C-Andrew Bynum

Rotations
PG-JordanFarmar/DerrickFisher/Sasha Vujachic
SG-Kobe Bryant/Sasha
SF- Vladamire/Ariza/
PF-Pau Gasol/Lamar Odom
C-Andrew Bynum/Pau Gasol/Chris Mihm

Luke Walton is best played off the bench. He is not a starter by any means. When the playoffs come around Id rather they start with Fisher than with Farmar.Fisher has much more experience.

Sometimes more experience doesn't benifit the team. You see Derrick Fisher is neither a good scorer or assister. The Lakers need his Defence in the remaining minutes of quarters. Especially the 4th quarter.

Jordan Farmar is incredibly fast, and can do the same ammount of assists/points as derrick fisher. Not only that but he gets more steals. Even though he cannot set up plays properly it's because he plays with other bench players. He well learn how in a few months of starting.

Luke Walton should not play at all, and he needs to stop living under his fathers wings and start learning the game.

Lamar Odom does not suck, infact he is a very great player. He is one of the PF's in the game right now that can go head to head against a Center and a Small Forward. Although he would be a great starter, he can't because of lakers triangle offence. Seeing how they need a pure shooter,

Thats where Vladmir comes to play.
He is a great shooter, he doesn't attempt that many shots either. He needs to attempt more shots ONLY when Kobe is on the bench. That's when Sasha and Vladmirs Combo comes into play.

once kobe is resting the combo of both Sasha and Radmonvich can take the lakers to the largest lead possible.

pg Derek Fishar, Farmer
Start fish over farmar, he is still young and can make em stupid TO. Dont want to risk creating a big whole at the first quarter. Imo, they shud pick up a third string pg like maybe take JC back once memphis lets him go :lmbo:
sg Mamba, Sasa
Kobe is kobe... I still think sasha is overpaid, I rather them match turiafs offer.
sf Ariza,Vladclunkaman
I much rather start Ariza over that chucker vladdy. The reason they want to start vladdy is the outside shooting. However I like Ariza's potential so give him the startin job hes quick, just need to work on his jumper :thumb: Puke needs to go, one way or another.
pf gasoft, odomhead
Yeah, I like the idea of odom being sixthman.
c drew, gasol/mihm ( I miss turiaf alrdy T.T )
bynum worst case = a perkins? best case= Diesel that runs more efficient on the free throw line :lmbo:
