Register, who is also the man behind the development of CartoonNetwork.com in 1998, went on to become the creative director of CartoonNetwork.com and Cartoon Orbit from 2000-2001 before leaving to pursue television development with Cartoon Network in the Los Angeles studios. He came up with the idea after viewing PBS's Sticker World. Welcome to Sticker World! There's a lot to see and do here. Begin by building your Web page, browsing the sticker zones, and checking out other kids' pages. Here are some ways to explore: * Click My Stuff to see your starter stickers. * Click My Page to start building your Web page. * Click Stickers to see what other stickers you can get. * Click What's Up for news and to check out today's featured stickers. * Click My Messages to get your messages. * Click Kids & Clubs to visit other kids' pages and get design ideas. * Click Help to find out more about Sticker World. building your page Your page is like a blank sheet of paper. It has an invisible "grid" made up of 56 squares where you can arrange your stickers. Each page can have a background and a motto. Your page starts out with the "blue icicles" background, but you can change it! See where it says, "Put your motto here" at the top of your page? That's where your page motto will go. How you design your page is up to you! To start building your page, click My Page on the left-hand side of the screen. Then: * Click Change Motto to choose a motto for your page. * Click Change Background to choose a background color or pattern. * Click Change Stickers to put some of your starter stickers on your page (see how many different ways you can arrange them!). But don't stop there—there are hundreds more stickers from which to choose! Read About Stickers, below, to find out more. about stickers Click Stickers to browse the sticker zones and get more stickers. You'll find stickers about animals, space, food, music and art, sports and more! And new stickers are added every week. There are four types of stickers: * Picture: Cool graphics to decorate your page. * Animated: Click to make it move. * Play: Click to play a game and earn points. * Set-up: You decide how it looks on your page. Each sticker has an info icon in the upper right-hand corner. Click on it to learn more about that sticker—like its point value, what sticker zone it lives in, and how many are left—and to get cool Didja Know facts. About Points Sticker World is a game where you can earn points and use them to get even more stickers. Here's how sticker points work: * You start the game with 300 sticker points. * You earn 5 points every time someone visits your page. * You earn 2 points when you visit another Sticker Kid's page. * You can earn points playing with sticker games on other kids' pages. * When you get a sticker, the point value of the sticker is subtracted from your total points. * When you return a sticker, 1/2 of the current point value of the sticker is added to your total points. About Staying in the Game * To stay active in Sticker World, you must log on at least once every six months. * If you do not log on for six months, your page will be "retired" and your stickers returned to the sticker zones so other Sticker Kids can get and trade them. [n]The site is VERY old school looking but you get your own 'cZone' and 'cToons'... Just take 10 minutes to sign up and get familiar with the site... It is JUST like Cartoon Orbit!! [/b]
