Yeah, CN screwed themselves up by putting 5 year old cartoon's that barely have animation to save money. They took out all the good shows, Megas XLR and stuff.

I guess you can't stop them, Adult Swim is having fan-toon shows and removing all of the anime. Only ting I watch AS for is Family Guy.

Some people say we're growing up, but it's ridiculous now.

Again, it is all about the ratings. Rating for both Anime and Toonami have sucked for a couple of years, no one is watching it anymore, it was a fad. TV is about making money, you make money by having viewers.

Reruns of tired Family Guy Episode you have seen a million times do more about triple the ratings of any even new anime they put on.

One of the problems, when Anime became a fad, CN jumped on the bandwagon and put out a BUNCH OF ANIME Garbage: DBZ, Inuyashu, Naruto, Pokemon, etc. They stopped showing quality anime except occasionally (like Death Note more recently, but now they overplayed it), and the fad got tired.

NO ONE IS WATCHING IT. What do you expect them to do?

Considering the ratings (PG, PG 13, etc) most "good" anime would get, CN didn't have much to choose from. If they ever did get anything good, it would have been butchered in some way.

I sure hope they don't put any blame on fansubs for losing ratings on the anime side. If it really was that good of an anime, fans would still watch it right? I watched Bleach and Death Note almost a whole year in advance, but I still watched them on AS.

Like Nibbles said ever since they took yu-yu off theyve gone downhill ever since. The golden era(if you want to call it that) of toonami was around 1999.

Pokemon is an "Americanized Anime" and therefore not a True Anime/Manga Series.

Pokemon - Orginally created by Nintendo for use as video games. Pokemon, Naruto, and Dragon Ball Z are currently NOT on the Top 10 list of Anime/Manga in Japan but are in the USA due to popularity.
