There is a tropical storm in Florida named Fay. It is coming straight for Jacksonville, Florida and it may turn into a hurricane. The first day of school was Monday and schools are already going to be closed for the rest of the week in some counties. I believe I'll have to work tomorrow and when I get off around 5pm, there will be a lot of rain and accidents xD! Wish me luck.... I don't know if I'll work on Thursday... Today my mom said, "Jasmine... On Saturday, if we are alive, will you babysit your brother in the morning?" Ugh... It just freaks me out that she said, "if we are alive" I've never been scared of hurricanes and I don't think this is a big deal but I just wanted to let you guys know. I love you.

Jazzy. You will do just fine. You won't die. I don't think it will be that bad. I hope it won't. I hope you're safe Jazzy. And I also hope your brother is safe as well. I wish you lots of luck. I pray that you will be safe and fine. I will be thinking of you in this serious time of need. Not in a girlfriend or boyfriend way. In a Friend way. If you have a basement please go down there. If not I hear hiding in your bathroom is the second safest place. I'm scared for you right now. I hope everything turns out okay. And I hope you drive safe. And I hope you make it home alright. I really do. I love you as well. In a Friend way. We don't get Hurricanes here In Ma. Once in a very great while we do. But I will pray for you tonight. I really will. There aren't basements in FL. If you dug deep enough in the ground for a basement, you'd hit water! Mush, you are right about the bathroom being the 2nd best place. Thank you for caring so much. |

Right now Fay is close to where my mom and brother and sister are in FL.They had to close school down for 2 days.I think everything will be allright last time there were hurricanes everything was ok where they were @ so hopefully this time will be okay too. |

Fay should not be too bad compared to previous FLA Hurricane. It looks like it will cut across FLA, the only worry would be if it goes back over water, and boomerangs back to FLA. Come move in with me |

Nothing ever usually happens to Jacksonville. There is always this big scare and then the hurricane or storm goes somewhere else... I heard people at work talking about the hurricane possibly coming back... I really hope that doesn't happen. All city workers are off from work except for emergency workers... I love my job and I don't think they love me. They are offering OVERTIME for tomorrow! There are a lot of job aren't letting their employees work tomorrow and my job wants me to work MORE! If the hurricane is over 40MPH, the bridges will close. I have to go over a bridge to get to work. There are a number of ways for me to get to work but they all involve a bridge... *Sigh* I have an emergency line to call if I can't come in to work tomorrow because of the storm... Its the disaster hot line, 1(888)ALERT41... If its raining like crazy tomorrow morning or if my mom tells me not to go, I'm calling that number... Ummm... So my whole family is home right now and our pantry is packed with food and water... We have candles, flashlights, batteries, radios and all of our cars are full with gas... Also I heard on the radio that we are no longer under a hurricane watch and that it is only a topical storm... That is a plus... but I also heard that we should be expecting it to coming tomorrow so it could get worse by then.... (Thursday around 8am) Thanks for letting me stay with you Malach ;) |

You Have Hurricanes We Have Noreasters, LOTS of Snow, I remember we got 3 feet of snow here. Anyways Good Luck Jazzy =) Idk what a hurricane is like only once that I remember has a Cat: 2 Hurricane ever been here (See Hurricane Bob) |

We had a few Hurricanes here. Hurricane Carol 1951 or 1952, That was the worst Hurricane that hit here. And I think it was a inland strom as well. Than Bob. Eh Bob really did not do much Damage. maybe down in the cape but not up here. The in 1994 we had that Perfect Strom. Than in 1996 or 1997 we had Hurricane Shannon. And I think Also Hurricane Hugo hit us to back in the day. So we had our share. But they where all weak Hurricanes. So we never had one since. Mass is boring when it comes to Storms. But it's a safe state to live in storm wise. We had a few Blizzards. Not that many tho. Blizzard of 1978 was the worst Blizzard ever. Than we had one back in 1995. Than ten years later The Blizzard of 2005. Oh Don't for get the April Fools Day Blizzard. man I have a great memory. I'm super smart.

Snow is fun =) Try 3 feet of Snow though, It was so bad the snow was up to my Belly. Eat it? lolz just dont eat the yellow snow, it isnt lemon flavored =p. Oh I hope you can see snow one day. |
