Heath Ledger did not kill himself. He overdosed and had interactions on prescription medications. As for his portrayal of the Joker . . . he might finally do a worth redition based on the Joker of the on shot Killing Joke by Alan Moore which he used as reference. People are already talking Oscar. |

I'm not a fan of Batman or anything from comics really, but the Joker is my all time favorite villian. So I guess I'll go with my brothers to see this. |

Yeah, Ledger just had an overdose of some pills he was taking, since he wasn't getting enough sleep from working on two movies at the same time. ,-, He was only 28. Anyways, the movie was ******* great. Ton of action, nice actors, new looks, Joker, No Russians getting their ass kicked like in most American action movies. Like, even as soon as the movie was over, the theater broke into applause. Like, my first time of that ever happening. o-o Itwasgood. |

This movie was awesome, I need to see it again in a theater, and then at IMAX. Way better than any other movie that has yet to come out this summer. |

I will agree that it is somewhat hard to replace Mark Hamill as the Joker,since him being the voice actor for the Joker in the animated series was a once in a lifetime thing.In fact,many fans wanted Hamill to be casted instead of Ledger,but it seems pretty clear why they picked Ledger. I still havent seen the movie Im waiting for my bro to be able to see it first. |

SPOILER ALERT! Great movie. Joker had some of the best scenes. But the movie had glitches. I mean, why in hell, no one was trying to defuse those bombs Joker planted on the boats and the hospital? And there is a scene missing: When Joker crashes Bruce's party (or whatever it was) and throws off Rachel from the building, Batman takes a dive to save her. Now that Batman is out of the way, Joker could go ahead and find Harvey or just make his escape...But we never find out what Joker does. Also, maybe I am wrong, but Joker explains how he got the "smile" in two stories that contradict each other. First he says his father did it to him and then he says he did it to himself to make his wife happy. But the movie was still good...Joker was crazy. Heath Ledger worked on the smallest of details like the character's movement to his laugh. In the end when Batman spares Joker, you wish that Batman would kill Joker for two reasons: 1) Obviously Joker is evil and he warns Batman that if he is spared, he will continue to do more crimes. The other reason is because Heath is dead. Would you want anyone else to even try to replicate is performance? |

I just saw the movie today!that was RAW to the maxxx!!!Finally a movie that lives up to the hype. And Desi no1 could replace Heath as the Joker if they were to make another1.I dont think they are going to make another Batman movie,Christian Bale expressed interest in making another film but the director said that everything he ever wanted to put into a Batman movie was put into this one. I had more fun with this movie than I ever had with any other supero movie.Last year's Spiderman 3 sucked.The spiderman trilogy was very overrated.As a kid I always enjoyed Batman the animated series much more than I ever enjoyed Superman or Spiderman.Batman always had these psycho villains and Spiderman and Supermans villians were kind of lame. |
