For one, Sci Fi hasn't run much anime in the past years. Another is that most anime they run are atleast 3 years old, and here they're showing one of the best animes of just last year. Gurren Lagann is considered the best anime ever, so I can't wait til it starts airing! Never heard of Samurai X, maybe I'll look it up later. Unlike most animes, Gurren Lagann had a very high budget. It has a great story, lots of action, and is very funny. So expect to blown away by awesomeness!

Could only watch about a 15 minutes of it Same here, the first two episodes are very boring and very hard to get by. I didn't rewatch it until a whole year later, but I learned to love it around episode 4. After that, it gets waaaaay better. Its one of few animes that are action/comedy that actually follow a real story plot.
