Okay for those of you who dont know Moon Phase is the anime about the vampire catgirl, and while the anime is cute and in many ways childish, the manga is NOT. I also want to point out that is manga is rated OT (For ages 16 AND UP) This manga has swearing, sexuial refrences and some but not alot of nudity in the later volumes So here are some reasons why you should read the manga Okay here are your reasons: 1. Hazuki is more grown up (None of that whiny stuff) 2. Kaoru and Hikaru are include more in the manga, and even BOTH flirt with Kouhei in more ways than one to make Hazuki Jealous. 3. The Mana are Tokyopop, Tokyopop is a well known company 4. There are More Charactors. Vampires and Good Guys alike. 5. You actully get to SEE every charactors face, idk why the anime has some of the bad guys dressed up like animals. 6. You get to see Kaoru, Hikaru, Kouhei, and Hazuki naked in the bath or maybe together (I cant tell you more lolz that would be a spoiler =p HINT: See #2). 7. The Manga is longer than the anime, the feeling of the whole story is longer and more things happen. 8. Yes Hazuki does kiss Kouhei, but not on the forehead as she does on the anime but rather lip to lip. Hey dont get me wrong the anime is good, but if you really want to take in the full affect of the series, read the manga, unlike the anime you really feel like you are part of the story in a way. |

Its not your type of show because it turnes a serious vampire, romantic comedy almost into a child's story. Trust me the book series is worth reading. |
