From the date this post was made, this newsletter was sent just a few minutes ago. If you signed up for the newsletter subscribtion on their website, you would've gotten a newsletter and they just gave us some pretty good information.
Looks like Dominic James got to try out and design the game. Anyways, here are the interesting facts we've gotten: "One of the coolest things about FusionFall is that it's a massively MULTIPLAYER online game - so you can play with friends no matter where they are." "Don't forget: creating an account gives you the chance to help test the game before it's available. We'll update you on this Beta Test phase once details are ready. Stay tuned; you could be among the first to play FusionFall!" "Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall, the massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) coming in 2008. In FusionFall, your favorite characters defend the Cartoon Network Universe from Planet Fusion, and they'll need your help! The game isn't out yet, so we'll send these newsletters every so often with the latest on how it's all coming together." Since they said it's online, it'd MOST LIKELY be free to play and they'll make an account upgrade of some sort (and you'd have to pay for the upgrade, take this as neopets premium members). So, that's a lot of information we've gotten so far. I still hold the question; Are we going to have to download the applet? |

Hush, you.

Even bigger than that is, if we do have to download the applet, will it be opengl or directx? I'm hoping for an opengl download, myself. |

Hush, you.

If it's browser based it's going to look horrible and run even slower, and not have much in terms of client-side customizing. If it's directx, then I can't play it cause I have a mac. :( |

Im hoping for it to be OpenGL too, just because I personally think it looks and runs better. But I can't wait for the game to launch. |
