Posted Image "Mary Kay Bergman Role: Timmy Turner (2001) Mary Kay Bergman was born on June 5, 1961 in Los Angeles, California. She started out by doing some local commercials on the radio and built up to doing voices on South Park and Fairy OddParents. She died on November 11, 1999 by committing suicide." So was her voice used at all? She died in 1999 but the show came out in 2001.... O.o... Edited by Ðãrk_Ångê£, Sep 13 2008, 09:56 PM.

Posted Image Oh... I've never heard of "Oh Yeah! Cartoons" until now... So it is like a spin-off... Kinda like Pinky and the Brain were in Animaniacs skits before they had their own show... Posted Image |

No, not exactly. "Oh Yeah Cartoons!" for Nick, and "What a Cartoon! Show" for Cartoon Network were shows where aspiring animators would send in their cartoons and if they were picked, they would be shown there. Out of those cartoons, a few made it big: Dexter's first cartoon won the contest and got its own series, then Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo... years later Courage the Cowardly Dog. Here was also where the very first Family Guy was shown, haha, I watched it and it was pretty funny, although it wasn't really Family Guy but an early version of it. I'm not entirely sure on "Oh Yeah Cartoons!" since I never liked it as much, but of course, Fairly Oddparents came from that, and perhaps something else, not sure. Fairly Oddparents looked rather funny on Oh Yeah Cartoons. I could've sworn I saw this same skit on What a Cartoon! Show, but I don't know, I'm probably mistaken. Although there was one cartoon that appeared on both shows. It was about a little girl and a vampire, everytime they would show it, I would watch it despite being a repeat because I loved it... I don't know how that didn't get made into a series....

I loved that show with the girl and the vampire too, basically like the grim adventures of billy & mandy. But for some reason, I liked the vampire one more. |

I've tried to like the Grim Adventuress of Billy and Mandy many times, but I just can't, Billy just seems too dumb to me, and the show has little appeal. But, Mina and Count Dracula (?) was really good, if you ask me, nothing like Billy and Mandy... wayyyyyyyyyyy better. I have no idea why it never got made into a show. ;_; Edit; The shows that came out from Oh Yeah Cartoons! were: The Fairly OddParents ChalkZone My Life as a Teenage Robot And the vampire with the girl cartoon we've been talking about is called Mina and the Count... it was actually supposed to be made into a series, but it got cancelled... LAME. That cartoon would beat any of the current ones any day, any time... -_-' Edited by Frozen Blue Flame, Sep 15 2008, 09:44 PM.

Wow... I didn't have cable so I really missed out on a lot... The first Family Guy that I saw was on Fox... I'll check out 'What a Cartoon! Show" on YouTube.... LARRY & STEVE xDDDDD family guy first pilot from 1995 second family guy pilot from 1996 I watched all of my cartoons on 'Disney's One Saturday Morning' 'ABC Kids' 'Fox Kids' 'Fox Box' 'Kids WB' 'UPN47' xD I only knew about Johnny Bravo and other CN shows because of Cartoon Orbit... I only knew about Cartoon Orbit because it was advertised on Kids WB... Right before the PPG movie came out, they started showing PPG on KidsWB to get kids like me interested in seeing the movie... (and I did... and I bought the DVD... and collected the cToons...) |

I just remember on Nick they had a vote for whichever show would be there next one.Invader Zim won by popular vote.I watched it like every week. Its kind of insulting to see all those kids at Hot Topic go out and buy the merchandise with IZ on it and claim to be 'diehard fans' of the show when they never even heard of it til the minute they walked into that store. |
