Yeah they seriously butcher the anime here and the Manga! I hated it when watching Episode 123 of Naruto, When Lee accidently switched his medicine with Tsunade's Sake and got terribly drunk while fighting Kimimaru. Guy said Lee was a master of the Drunken Fist. In america they replace Sake with Elixer and called the Drunken Fist the "Loopy Fist!" "The WHAT!? What the heck is this! Saturaday morning Disney!?" They lower the blood and profantity! Yes they cuss too! Curse American censorship! |

Future of TV. Like the phone, and internet is will all be bundled into one price. With the rate of TV on the internet and small time internet based shows taking off, TV will become free, just like the phone sooner or later. As for the quality, there is some good stuff out there (Battlestar Galactica come right to mind) you just have to look for it. The Problem with Anime is that most of it is Adult. DBZ, Naruto was never designed for younger audiences. Becuase in the US, adults don't take animation seriously, unless it is comedies, stuff like this gets chopped up for kids tv. Now, when your generation grows up, who grew up with stuff like anime, Afro Samurai, and the modern Marvel/DC animation, we will see if that changes. |
