I just read the manga Chobits and its a great love story
:wub: The main charactor Hideki isnt that bad looking too lol
:blush: Well here is what Chobits is about, I will include pictures and descriptions about the charactors. BOOK RATING: OT AGES 16+ (Since this is a G rated forum I will type NO bad stuff here) The Story: It is the year 2127, and robots were designed by this brilliant inventer to do work, be companions, and to live almost like humans, These robots are called Persocoms. The Story Starts out with the main charactor Hideki, he has just moved to the city and is a student taking his entrence exams, his parents pulled his allowence so he has to work at Club pleasure (A night club lol). Hideki doesnt have lots of money and persocoms cost a WHOLE LOT and he so wishes he could get one to help him in his everyday life (maybe some naughty stuff too) One night while taking out the trash from club please Hideki notices a very pretty girl tied up with bandages, with her eyes closed laying in the trash, At first he thinks its a murder, but then he notices the ears and could tell that she was a persocom. After thinking for a second he jumps with joy and thinks he is the most luckiest kid alive. He doesnt notice the disk that falls out from being tucked in her bandages.When he gets home hideki (after 4 hours) finally finds her button to turn her on (In the most unusual place i might add) When she gets turned on, the bandages slip off and she speaks "Chi?" At first Hideki doesnt know what to think and names her Chi, since thats all she can say anyways. Chi then thriows her arms around Hideki with an i like you sign.......... Hideki Later discovers that Chi can do some things other persocoms cant, could she be a chobit, a legendary persocom made by the great inventer himself? Charactors: Posted Image Hideki - Hideki has come to the big city to earn money for a part time job and get into college. Hideki finds chi, a persocom who he later finds out has unusual abilities, other than that, hideki is a nice sweet guy who is single and knows it. Posted Image Chi - Chi was found by hideki in the trash and seems to remember nothing about her past or where she is now, she can only say chi (hence her name) but that may change as time goes on. Chi seems to be gentle and seems very happy that hideki found her. Posted Image Yumi - Yumi appears later in the book, she is kind and seems to like hideki and he had a lil crush on her himself. Yumi however seems to get upset when ever the word persocom or that subject is used in a sentence. Posted Image Minoru - Minoru also appears later in the series, he and yuzuki (A persocom he made) live in a mansion, he is rich, young, and very smart, but is nice to people and tries to help. Minoru is very concerned when five of his maid persocoms collapse while trying to recieve chi's data and asks if she might be a chobit. Posted Image Yuzuki - Yuzuki is a custom persocom made by Minoru to look exactly like his sister (who died). Yuzuki is very kind and appears almost human - like. Yuzuki tries hard to make minoru happy and stores minoru's memories of his sister in her programming, something she thinks will make minoru happy. Posted Image Dark Chi - Not much is known about this person except that she appears in chi's mind, seems to look just like her, and seems to help Chi with her problems. Posted Image Shimbo - Shimbo becomes a friend of hideki and gets to be a pain in the butt just as much as he helps hideki, they get along ok tho (except when he ticks hideki off doing stuff). Shimbo also owns a laptop Persocom named Plum who he later gives to Hideki. Posted Image Plum - Plum was orginally Shimbo's laptop notebook, after giving her to hideki however he soon learns just how hyper and crazy she can be. Posted Image Kotoko - Kotoko also comes later on in the series, she is a Laptop persocom, with bells not whistles like plum, she is calm and focused but that of course is sometimes interupted by plum. |

^ You should i recommend it ^_^ Its rated 16 and up tho for curse words and 2 or 3 exposing images. |

There are more charactors too but they are minor and come later on so i didnt want to include them to ruin it for you. |

The series was good, I enjoyed watching all the episodes. My favorite parts were when chi would copy Hideki. Like when he's rolling on the floor and she copys him.. LMBO |

^ You can actully see an episode on youtube, but the quality isnt that good. I recommend you read the book. |

ive read and watched the Chobit series and i liked it. the only thig was the ending was kind of lame for my tastes. other then that it had some funny moments in it as well. like the part with Chi saying Hideki while pointing at everything was funny, no matter how many times you watch it. |

This was my 2nd manga ever ^^ so cuuute. I love Chii, the Freya and her dad story was sad though. I have yet to see much of the anime. But I plan too. ^^ |
