Trick - 'Follow the one-second rule." Why it works - When something bothers you, take action and don't waste one second stressing about it. Sitting around feeling worthless will just ruin your self-esteem but jumping in and doing something will make you feel STRONG! Trick - 'Give Compliments' Why it works - You may get nervous when you meet someone. You may feel like the other person is superior and it may make you tense. Give that person a compliment. If you like something about that person, tell them. They will like you for that. Trick - 'Crack a Joke' Why it works - Crack a joke to lighten up the mood. It will make the situation less intimidating. Trick - 'Wear your favorite accessory' Why it works - I know this may sound a little weird but it totally works.
