Last year the Lakers had to go thru the Spurs,Jazz,and Nuggets.The Celtics had to go thru the Hawks,Cavs,and Pistons.At the end of the day the Lakers had the much rougher road to the finals and somewhat deserved the trophy more. The Lakers being my 2nd fave team did not have much experience(besides Bryant and Fisher) in the NBA Finals.The series went 6 games,so Celtics fans try not to get too cocky since it wasnt a blowout except game 6. The Celtics did win that series fairly and were the better team.I dont agree that the Celtics got 'lucky'.They definately werent the best championship team due to the fact it took them 7 games to beat the *snickers* Atlanta Hawks and took them 7 games to beat the Cavs.Dont expect a repeat this year.Garnett and Pierce are 32,and Allen is 33.Not to mention you guys lost James Posey to the Hornets. The Lakers this year have a much better chance at winning the championship than the Celtics do.Especially now that Bynum is back and healthy. |
