some people don't like WoW tho :p, personally i have played runescape back when it was in classic, and is till play it today (been a little bit even tho i logged in earlier), and i have always enjoyed it, and they don't add content that makes it so you have to play 24/7 just to get something in 7months (looting something doesn't count :p), you can say what you want about runescape, but imo only game i have seen where they listen to the players. (not trying to start a fight here, just posting what i think :p)

If they have Classic on free, I would play Rs, but this Rs2 thing is pretty dumb. Graphics are soo crappy.
