They beat Mexico 2-0 the other night. USA is the first CONCACAF country to qualify out of 3, possibly 4. Ukraine also qualified in Europe. They're the first European team to make it so far (other than Germany which gets automatic entry). Argentina, Iran, Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia have already qualified. |

England is 7th http://www.fifa.com/en/mens/statistics/ind...ug-2005,00.html Those are all the rankings as of August 17. I think the new rankings for September come out on the 14th. The US might move up past Mexico and into 5th which I believe would be their highest ranking ever. |
