http://www.tsn.ca/nfl/news_story.asp?id=134930 If the Superdome was badly damaged by the hurricane, where are the New Orleans Saints going to play? There's apparently some pretty big holes in the roof already. |

It definitely looks now like they'll be playing the entire season on the road. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...5083102358.html

They may be a vagabond team this season, playing wherever they can. |

It sounds like they'll be playing at least 4 in San Antonio at the Alamo Dome. They're already scheduled to play one of their 'home' games in New York. The Hornets also need to find a new home for the season it looks like. But instead of just 8 homes games that the Saints play, it's 40 or 41 I think. I ton of cities seem interested in getting them. If they were to move to a different city for the season and got good attendance there, I wouldn't be surprised if they just stayed there permanently. So far cities that have made offers are: Oklahoma City, San Diego, Nashville, LA (they'd play in the old Inglewood Forum), Louisville, Vancouver, and Kansas City. As much as I'd like to see an NBA team back here in Vancouver, I don't see it happening. My bet would be on Louisville to get the Hornets for this season. |

Oh yeah I heard about Vancouver offering the Hornets a tempoary place to play. Personally I don't think it'd work out only because it's in Canada and I think most Americans who are fans of the Hornets would rather see the Hornets play in the US because of the fact that it'd be weird to have the Hornets in Vancouver where not everyone could cross the border and things like that, etc; (all of that probably didn't make any sense so forgive me I'm pretty tired right now). |
