http://www.iaaf.org/GLE05/news/Kind=2/newsId=31877.html Kenenisa Bekele shattered the World Record in the mens 10,000 by 3 seconds. Tatyana Lebedeva of Russia is still alive for the $1,000,000 jackpot. She's won all 5 meets in the women’s Triple Jump. If she wins in Berlin in the final Golden League meet she wins $1,000,000. Christine Arron won the women's 100m. She would have still been in contention for the $1,000,000 prize but she failed to win at last week's meet. Justin Gatlin won the men's 100m just slightly ahead of Ronald Pognon. Canada’s Gary Reed finished third in the men's 800m. The final Golden League meet of the season is Sept 4 in Berlin. |
