Drip Drip Drip Three sudden drips soon become A splash of sadness- Splash Splash Splash 3 splashes soon become The sea of misery- With such little splashes of happiness- Slowly, Sadly, Hopelessly…. ….Tragically One more wave floods your world- Bringing you into the 7 poisoned seas, An entrance, but no exit, your voice echoes… … Your thoughts drift- … Drowned by Life’s Tsunami. |

The Cancer for the Cure

Urgh, that's freaky, I wrote a similar poem about a month ago, different topic entirely, but using the tripartite very similarly...Though it was Dot and Tap, not Drip and Splash...and the poem was about elipises, which you use a lot of there. :uns: Sorry, that freaked me out :P I'll have to dig that one up and post it at some stage. Nice poem, strange to come long after the Tsunami was making headlines, is it an old one? Your style is somehow curiously off-centre, in a way that reminds me of a poet I was reading about a month ago. I think it was Sujata Bhatt. |

I wasn't referring to that poem particularly. I just meant the way you write, your voice, reminds me of her. I think it's her I'm thinking of anyway. I wasn't referring to that poem, just her style of writing in general. |
