Those are all the teams that are either holding a playoff spot right now, or are just 4 games or less out of one (division or wildcard).

I gotta go with Oakland, the way they've been playing lately. ;up;

Hard choice for me especially since the Sox are my favorite team and the A's are my second favorite team.

Here is what I feel about the A's:
The A's are "HOT" right now and their pitching is carrying them. Unless you believe that this pitching will stay this strong now and all the way through the playoffs then the A's will not win it. On top of that there is added pressure in the playoffs...how much playoff experience do these guys have? Pitch around Chavez and let one of the "unknowns" beat you...that is a lot of pressure on a player who has never been there.

Here is what I feel about the Sox:
The Red Sox need Foulke to come back and we need Schill back at the top of the rotation and move Arroyo to the bullpen. Making our entire staff much stronger. Add Delcarmen (rough outing yesterday) and Paplebon to the pen and we are pretty solid.

Of course I would love to see the Sox go back-to-back, but the A's probably will win it all. It'll be close

Yanks are gonna get # 27 this year...

ok, maybe not since their pitching staff sucks...but it is the Yankees. I mainly picked them just to piss off all the non-yankees fans ;wink;

The AL is wide open. With the Red Sox not at full strength and the Yankees maybe not making it. I don't think anyone trusts the White Sox. A's are playing so good, but long way to go and don't know if they can keep this pace.
