Here's the final medal standings

Rashid Ramzi ended up winning the men's 800 to go with his win in the 1500m.

Justin Gatlin and Tirunesh Dibaba of Eithiopia also won two golds. She won the 10,000 and the 5,000. Eithiopia came 1,2,3 in both of those events.

That sucked for Mark Boswell in the high jump. Every single jumper had failed at 2.29 including him. He was sitting in third place based on countback. There was one guy left to jump. He was in 4th or 5th based on countback and had already failed his first 2 attempts. No matter what happened, this was going to be the last jump of the competition. Guess what? He made it to win the gold, and therefore knocked Boswell off the podium.

There were a few world records set. If you set a world record you got $100,000.

It always seems that way, someone will come up with a jump or vault to take it away.

That guy I never heard of also won the 800.

$100,000 for a world record, wow, I better start working out for the next one. :P
