It's hard to believe it's almost that time of year again. I saw an add for the Monday Night Football preseason game. It's just a week from tomorrow.

I think the Bills will do pretty good this year. They were pretty hot down the stretch last season.

I'll be at that game :) Maybe see Ricky Williams play.

Gooooo Browns, win at least 6 this year.

I think the Bills will be good this year too if their new QB is ready.

Come on Pats. I think we will do pretty well even if we have loss key linebackers in Tedy and TJ. We did well to prepare just in case Tedy was not going to return to this upcomming season by aquiring key people such as Chad Brown, etc; I have confidence in the Pats.

As for the Bills, I can't wait to see what their new QB has.

The Pats also lost Ted Johnson. So, they don't have their 2 leading tacklers from last year.

I'm sorry, I found this quote funny...

I hope Losman is ready, he sure talks like he is. ( I wish he'd get his haircut! Or at least wash his hair daily, he can look so skeezy sometimes!)...if he sucks though, the Bills have Kelly Holcome as backup.

Didn't the Browns sign Trent Dilfer?

;cry; It has become second nature around here to wait til next year for the Browns.

As for Holcombe, he is a great backup. When with the Browns, he had some awesome games. But if he has to start a few games, he either gets injured or the other teams get to know him and slow him down. But, nice to have someone like him just in case.

Yes, not sure if that is good or not. But they say he is a good leader and doing pretty good so far.

That's pretty much what he did in Seattle. He came in when Hasselbeck got hurt and did the job allright, but most of the time he was just a leader on the sidelines.

The Falcons beat the Colts 27-21 in Tokyo. Vick just played the first quarter. I don't think Manning played much either.

Back in '98, they played one of these "American Bowl" games here in Vancouver between the Seahawks and the 49'ers. I went to it but it wasn't all that great. Warren Moon has just signed with the Seahawks and of course he's famous for playing in the CFL so a lot of people came to see him. But it was the first preseason game and he didn't play at all. Lots of people in the crowd were pissed off at that and got drunk and started fighting. It wasn't a very good atmosphere.

It sounded like the same thing happend in Japan. I guess people really wanted to see Vick and Manning go at it.

sounded like a good game. But, either team can't afford to play them too long. I used to go the Hall of Fame game every year, and we would be lucky to get the starters much past the first series. I can understand those people wanted to see them after the money they spent. And it was probably promoted a lot with Manning and Vick.
