Anyone been watching it? It almost didn't even happen. I think they've just had the diving so far and maybe a bit of the long distance open water swimming, but the actual swimming in the pool starts this week. Canada's done really well so far (unlike in Athens). We have the most golds so far with 3 (2 are Alexandre Despatie's). China has 7 total medals, 2 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze. The USA has 6, 2 G, 3 S, 1 B. |

lol, has anyone seen the clip of the one girl smacking her head on the diving board? She was okay, but that still must've hurt. |

I saw that, I think I heard she broke her nose. And a coach from another country dove in to help her. That had to hurt. |

Brent Hayden's looked pretty good. He hasn't won a medal in an individual event yet, but he's set two Canadian records and he beat Micheal Phelps in the 100 free. |

oh, that is rough! Lots of World Records are being set. The pool is a metre deeper than most which apparently creates less turbulence in the water or something like that. |
