The have the best shot... but that's only 3/48, compared to 1/48... not a huge difference. |

Personally I don't want to see Crosby on any of those teams. The Rangers for instance, haven't been to the playoffs since 97' and I don't want to see Crosby go into a team such as that. I'd like him to go to the Canucks, I'd love to see a Naslund-Crosby-Bertuzzi line because that would be a great one. So would a Lecavalier-Crosby-St. Louis line for Tampa, now that would be a scoring threat. |

Go Sabres!!
|
If the Sabres get the first pick, I may fall over and die. (That wouldn't be very timely though, I won't get to watch the Sabres kick ass). Crosby and Vanek together would be sick!! *Delusions of Grandure* Besides, all those other teams have big name players! The Sabres have no one. I have to be at work by 4 tomorrow!! Dammit Dammit!! |

Damn, I was getting excited there for a sec, when I saw they did the last 20 and the Canucks hadn't been announced yet. Still, 10's pretty good, and better than we'd get in a non-lottery system. After the Canucks were announced I was secretly hoping the Habs would get it. |

Is it alright to feel a bit sorry for the Rangers? I mean they haven't been to the playoffs in seven years and were the team that dropped the lowest even if they had three balls. It seems like the Rangers fans really stick to their team, always hoping to make the playoffs, and at times I feel sorry for them. Why? because their GM, Glen Sather is an idiot. They sign players, but the players end up being disappointing and the team has always been blamed for the league's problems. Oh well, at least the Canucks got 10th. |

yeah, 10th is good for the Canucks. Where'd you hear about the Bertuzzi/Thorton deal? I hadn't heard that yet. That's really good for the Penquins. It could turn their franchise around and help keep them in Pittsburgh. Plus Crosby playing with Mario should be good to watch. |

The rumor has been here for awhile now, and from many of the newspapers in Boston. Thornton has said he hasn't been happy in Boston for a couple of years now and he thinks that Boston isn't commited to winning so he wants to go on a winning team. His agent is telling him to leave Boston. As for Bertuzzi, he did sell his house in Vancouver, but then I heard he sold it so he could build a bigger house in West Vancouver. Then there was another article about how Bertuzzi wanted to start over new and go to some team in the east which would be Boston probably. Plus Boston has been in talks with Canucks' GM, Dave Nonis. Then there's another rumor about Kariya wanting to come home as in Vancouver and the Niedermayer brothers wanting to come and play for the Canucks. |

It's alright to feel sorry for the Ranger fans, but maybe not the Rangers. It will be interesting to see how they turn things around. Sounds like a bunch of guys want to play for the Canucks. |

I knew when they said "#13", the Sabres would come up...that's just my luck. Oh well, we have Vanek...hopefully he won't be a bust like our other first rounders. |
