http://members.shaw.ca/vorpalbunnies/draftsim/official.html It took me 39 tries for the Leafs to get the 1st pick... then another 52... then another 9... then 10... then 10 again lol This year's draft in really a crapshoot, anyone and everyone has a shot at Mr. Crosby. And as much as the draft is meant to balance out the league in some sort and aid the bottom teams, with a player like Crosby I'd love it to see him go to a good team, and even a large market team. It'd make watching him play so much more fun. JUST DON'T LET HIM GO TO THE DAMN RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I've been to that site and it's pretty cool. Vancouver seems to be ending up for me at 23, 26, and even 30. I haven't been able to get them to 1st, but the most I've gotten them to is 2nd. Finally after at least 10 or 15 tries, I got Vancouver at 1st!!!
I just had to show, lol. Now I think that NYR, Columbus, Pens all have a good chance of snatching Crosby. I don't want to see Crosby in NYR, but it would be cool if the Rangers got that kind of rookie come play with them and he'd probably be the greatest Ranger in history besides Gretzky. Although if he came to Vancouver that would be great as well! I think that if Naslund signs, Bertuzzi comes back and Crosby is drafted by the Nucks'. A line of Naslund-Bertuzzi-Crosby would be a great one. So would a St. Louis-Crosby-Lecavalier line too. |

With Columbus having 3 balls, imagine Nash and Crosby together. Although the supporting cast wouldn't be that great... Everytime I do the mock lottery, Minnesota seems to end up in the #1 spot quite a bit. |

It means that a lot people don't want Crosby to go to New York. We all know how the Rangers go. Now since the new CBA, the Rangers can go out and buy championships.. although they haven't been to the playoffs since 97'...... Heh WickedImpulse is a major Rangers fan. But I know that Crosby will go to New York, Pens, or Columbus. 17-1 RED SOX, w00t |

So many star players have gone to New York and failed to live up to expectations... I dunno what it is, but something does it. I don't wanna see Crosby in that atmosphere. I'd rather see him excel on a good and competitive team, and be able to make his mark in the playoffs. |

We all have to remember that an 18 year old like Crosby can't carry a team to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup and win it without the other players helping him. The Rangers may buy out Holik and it'd be cool to see Holik going back to New Jersey. Plus the Blueshirts have been known to overpay their players and Glen Sather just plain sucks, and many of their players haven't really lived up to their paycheck. The players I do respect who were on the Rangers are Mike Richter (<33) and Brian Leetch. |

Leetch is a Leaf... or was at the end of the last season anyway, he's a free agent right now. I know what you mean though... I just wanted to build up my team :D |

I agree with LL. I would like to see him on a competitive team though. I wouldn't want to see him on a team like Nashville or Carolina... But if he's not on the Canucks, I'd rather him not be in the Western Conference ;wink; |

^^ I dunno, if he's not on the Leafs I would still kinda like to see him in the East so that I can see him play more often. |

Yeah I meant were on the team and the post has been edited :) Now I hear that Brian Leetch may be headed to the Islanders  Nashville- That reminds me that when Shea Weber got a signing bonus from the Predators he bought himself a Lincoln Navigator. |
