As I go to bed at night and sooth tired muscles with soft fleece, I dream of a world with no problems, I dream of a world of peace. What happened to the joyful days of long ago when angry war was so unknown? They have all but dissapeared as violence, our technology has shown, a land of war and poverty, a land in so much agonizing pain, a land that suffers each horrible day and faces problems time and time again, What can we do to help these people? almost anything would be great, but our pure wealth and selfishness may have resulted in many a person's sad fate, what can we do but sit and hear the stories on the news? Or could something else instead be done to cure this country's blues? We could take the effort put into our country and with a helpful shift we could show this other country love and give people a caring lift, from our rudely tight-closed doors we could pry out a kind act or two, and lovingly paint another country's days a brighter, more cheerful hue! Suggestions, questions, comments, etc. are welcome! |
