Gimmick Summary: A CEO who cares about ratings and money more than anything else. While he doesn't let this corrupt him and make him a heel, it also keeps him from being a bleeding heart or having any sympathy. He'll do some ruthless things in the interest of entertainment. HISTORY Brendon Ofdensen left the recording industry after years of tumult with various clients to pursue managing Neo-Gothic Industrial Wrestling. He was originally hired as general manager, a neutral party who could give NGIW the shock to the system it needed to bring it new longevity, but his ability to manage the business and entertain the fans eventually saw him buying up the federation's rights out from the hands of Eric J. Chucci and Scott Kaiser. In 2011 an assassination attempt was made against Mr. Ofdensen. The would-be killer was former FIW and NGIW wrestler Max "Havok" Dunfort and it was implied he was employed by several financial backers of Full Intensity Wrestling. In an out-of-court settlement, Ofdensen received control of FIW, making him the second-most powerful man in professional wrestling. Months later he reached a deal with new investors for FIW to change hands once again. At the anniversary of his attempted assassination, Brendon Ofdensen went on an extended vacation for his mental well-being. In the meantime, Kim Coulter and Markon Charles had their run of the show. It seemed Markon Charles appointment in particular was to weed out the party responsible for creating an anti-Joe Stanton conspiracy within the management, and the culprit turned out to be Markon himself. Following a few weeks temporarily taking the reigns of general manager again, Ofdensen finally appointed his permanent replacement; Horus "The Owl" Osbourne. Ofdensen never returned to actively managing the federation, and after a brief return to the music industry he finally sought an early retirement. He still owns the rights to the NGIW name and image, and while he seems willing to lend it out for single shows, he has decided the fed is as retired as he is and should stay that way. Personal Life and Trivia - Well-read and intelligent; speaks fluent French, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, and perhaps other languages. - Extremely close friends with the man behind Kursur's mask. - Was given the surname 'Ofdensen', his mother's maiden name, to carry on her family line. Ironically, he has not had any children and doesn't seem to be interested in doing so. - Raised by his uncle, Andrei Whitehall, a renowned television producer. Andrei got him started in the recording industry through business contacts after Ofdensen studied four years as an intern below him. - Has a sister named Jennifer. Appearance Pressed, smart-looking business suits sit on a thin, unassuming man with sandy blonde hair that looks like he intended to comb it, but it just wasn't meant to be. Always bears a serious expression, and can usually be seen sporting a pair of small glasses. Out-Of-Character Character Rep: Jason Dohring. Twitter: N/A Font Color: Brown. |
