HISTORY

Starting his career as Zombie in Brightstone's Tower Wrestling as part of Corporal Beating Society Black, and following stars like J. Hunter Charles and R.T. Cutting to Hardcore Championship Wrestling as Dregz, Steven-Lee Ashleigh Grissom had much less luck after those organizations folded, spending years trying to break his way into mainstream professional wrestling. Originally he tried the "legit" route in smaller promotions including Tri-State Wrestling as a tag-partner of another person who called himself "The Man", Driscoll Manson, but they were uninteresting to the fans and doomed to failure. It wasn't until PiG brought to light his penchant for human blood that he began to pique the interest of various fed-heads across the globe.

Grissom participated in a number of Full Intensity Wrestling Next! competitions and served as gluttony in the seven deadly sins-themed stable headed by Herr Krahe in SLA Wrestling during its initial run, even mentoring fan-favorite darkhorse Frank for a time. Finally he was brought into Neo Gothic Industrial Wrestling on the back of Giggles, who served as envy for the South London Allied Wrestling stable to watch Tie[R]'s back for a while. Initially taking to his more casual style of dress (suits) and nickname (SLAG), he entertained Lucas Torres and made friends with Kursur before revealing himself as the PiG he always was and capturing the Midway Championship to bring into [R]'s fold for a short time.

After [R] folded, PiG (and to a greater extent Kursur) aided Chester Wynn in keeping his NGIW Championship secure, with the wrestler himself eventually fading into the background, though he never really left. Adopting the temporary nickname of "The Man" and a gas mask, he began to stalk the corridors and watch live matches to put a little fear into the back of each wrestler's skull. Now he has revealed himself once more, moving unseen pieces both in front of and behind the curtain. Allied with Kursur, employing Rock, and considering taking on more, PiG seemed satisfied to seek out glory and power within NGIW. He and Kursur criticized the audience for booing them as villains when they had done nothing wicked, helping Mr. Intensity deal with his alcoholism, and earned the Red Crown of Rage in the process. His downfall came when Nicolette took umbrage with "the way he talks" and the Pretty Little Death Machine battled him until she stripped him of his title and sent him packing from NGIW in 2013. This was concurrent with a storyline in Trinity Wrestling Association where PiG had broken the arm of Azrael Sergio, who returned to defeat him following injury recuperation with a vengeance. Following this, PiG left Trinity Wrestling Association as well.

PiG remained away from wrestling until 2016, where he re-emerged once again in Trinity Wrestling Association. His motives were unclear, but Azrael Sergio was eager to continue his revenge against the cerebral predator. In 2017, PiG secured the TWA Championship from Azrael Sergio following a long and bloody feud before losing it in a surprise upset to Joey Terrifying in August of that year. Following this, PiG quietly returned to his private life.

Personal Life and Trivia

- Grissom has a degree in Business Administration and is independently wealthy from years of stock trading and supervising an import/export business.
- Grissom is an active practitioner of the "vampire" lifestyle out-of-kayfabe, though he interestingly never crossed paths with Balls Mahoney.
- Most of Grissom's move names are named after Rob Zombie's more obscure musical works. His "Zombie" persona was named for similar reasons.
- Divide By Zero is named outside of PiG's usual conventions and in tribute to hide Kitazawa, who first suffered the move. PiG believes it was this action that turned the tides and allowed him to win the match.

In-Ring Appearance
PiG is on the stocky side, but he still has good musculature. He keeps his hair in lazy, gelled spikes that frequently brush into his so-dark brown-they're-black eyes. PiG's right arm is sleeved with fading green tribal ink, focusing on an inverted cross on his shoulder. The left arm bears a tribal sun in black on the shoulder and the stereotypical flames tattoo, fading with age from his wrist up to his shoulder. PiG has a few scars on his back and above his left nipple from a deathmatch years ago. To the ring he wears a tight black tanktop and low-crotched black canvas pants. These are covered with various studded brown leather straps, including a Roman-style gladiator skirt. He wears brown leather boots with sturdy kickpads surrounded by black studded leather straps and held in place with buckles, long brown leather gloves with brown buckled straps and a section of black material just above the elbow for flexibility. During big matches PiG tends to go all-out with erotic outfits and heavy makeup or facepaint, pushing the lines of gender to psych out his opponents.

- NGIW Red Crown of Rage Champion
- TWA Champion
