Flynn is a good-looking man. He is handsome and trim. He seems to have not one ounce of body fat upon his frame. However, he is not very muscular either. Instead, it is appears as if he has led a very papered life, and his body is evidence of that. Smooth and finely developed, he has just enough bulk to label him a man. Willowy, but not overly graceful, he somehow remains masculine, regardless that he lacks the same build as many men his age might. Instead, of having the body of an athlete, his sports the form of some high class noble. The class is reflected in his face. However, the most fetching feature is his flowing golden hair.

How no one has ever made the connection between Flynn and the Highwayman is simply beyond him. It’s not like he attempts to change his looks too much and the black eye mask that he wears doesn’t do much to hide away his handsome face or his sharp, expressive blue eyes. His black tri-corner hat doesn’t do anything to keep the mass of distinctive golden blond hair tamed. His elegantly simple all black clothing doesn’t hide his lithe and tempting form. Still, somehow, when he is out, cloaked in moonlight upon his horse and holding his twin pistols to his victims, no one seems to draw any connection to the young and attractive incubi.

It might be because when Flynn is not acting as the Highwayman, he avoids wearing simple and unadorned clothing. He never wears black unless he is about to go out to work. While he is always very careful, sooner or later, he has been known to wear a trinket or two from his recent nightly activities. It’s never anything terribly obvious like royal seals, but sometimes he just can’t help but test the powers of observation of those around him. But even if Flynn went about wearing rags, his natural aura of supernatural attractiveness makes him seem five times better looking than he really is. In mask or out of it, his roguish smile is the same as is his smoldering angered glares.

He is of average height, but somehow he manages to appear taller because of how he holds himself

Likes, Dislikes, Fears Hobbies, and Aspirations:
- Likes: Stealing things. Wild adventure. Shiny things
- Dislikes: Ugly wanted posters, flat beer, being poor
- Fears: What does your character fear in life?
- Hobbies: Rides horses, visit’s the pubs, making people swoon, talking about “the highwayman:”
- Aspirations: His wishes to become the MOST wanted man on the continent of Bellterra. In fact, he’d love to branch out and become the most wanted man in the world…but you have to start somewhere right?

Personality:
Flynn does not make much distinction between the way he acts in or out of the black garb. When he is not telling wild and fantastic tales at the top of his lungs, Flynn is doing all he can to enjoy himself. He is a very sensual and expressive being. His emotions are terribly obvious. When he loves someone, it is with all his dark soul. When he hates someone, they can feel his acrid ire from across a crowded room. He is suave and courteous for the most part, knowing just what to say. His quick win and silver tongue have gotten him out of many unnecessary frays. He is polite to those he believes deserves it, but has been known to talk down to those he does not. He has a natural flair for life that can easily captivate and compel, though a lot of that could just be because of what he is.

However, this flair is used like a powerful weapon while he is on the roads at night. His witty repartee has managed to make competent guards seem like little children. His cleaver turn of words has gotten people to agree with his demands. Though he wields his pistols with the authority of a man who knows his way around them and though he carries a rapier at his side, he rarely as had to use them. After all, the Highwayman has rules, rules that he won’t even cross.

He is known to never attack if he’s not actively resisted. If he is forced to respond with violence in a situation, he only shoots or stabs to wound of disable. The Highwayman does not kill. He only attacks those who can afford it. Those who can’t are never touched. And those who can are always left with enough money to pay for a room in the inn at the next town.

He is not below taking small bribes. Young ladies and pretty young gentleman have been known to get away with their things untaken if they offer up a kiss to the dashing Highwayman. Most of all, regardless if he takes anything or not, he takes great pains to insure that all who meet him in the dead of the night come away from the experience thoroughly enthralled in order to take away any residual pain that might be caused by the fact that he’s just robbed them by gun point.

History:
Little is known about the Highwayman. Few know where he comes from or what he’s after. As far as the world is concerned, the Highwayman first showed up twenty-three years ago in the Kingdom of Serdio. When the chaos was at it’s worst, he appeared upon his white horse. The rich and the powerful attempting to flee from the coups found themselves face to face with the bandit. But it is said that he appeared before that, during equal times of strife, always at the height of emotion and confusion, feeding off the terror that reined already and throwing his own special brand of chaos into the mix. A brand of chaos that seemed almost genteel to what was going on around. Bringing a sort of panache to the terrors of war.

But when things calmed down, the Highwayman would always disappear back to what ever dark pit of hell had spawned him, leaving the rich travels unmolested until next time an opportunity presented itself. Until five years ago, the man in black upon the roads only came during times of strife. But five years ago, he returned as suddenly as he disappeared. Once more, he appeared upon the roads, speaking kind words while holding the gentry with fear of pistol or desire for him.

Word soon spread of this “noble” dashing brigand. Within a few years the number of guards upon travelers doubled in the areas he was said to haunt. Ladies planned journeys just in the hopes of being robbed by him. He has made quite a name for himself by outsmarting traps and raising the bar of challenge with each new attempt. In the past year, imitators have even sprung up and it has become fashionable in the courts to claim to know him personally. His bounty has grown large but it is doubtful anyone seriously wants to claim it as doing so would shatter the mystique he’s created for himself.

Even less is known about the being known as Flynn. Because of what he is, no one has really wanted to get close enough to him to hear of his past. He had enjoyed himself in creating wild tales about who he is and his past, and each tale grows more and more outrageous. The incubi has at times claimed to be the son of a noble. He has also claimed to have been a slave freed by a kind master. It is doubtful that after so long and so many different tales, Flynn even remembers where he is from. However, one thread in all his tales is constant. No matter what he is asked, he tells of a kind person who took him in and gave him shelter. A rather strange tale for a relatively young demon to tell.

He, however, does know why he took up robbing. It all stemmed from one source, starvation. As a shunned being, it was very difficult to get to a regular meal. He took up the mantle of the Highwayman so that he could get close to others and feed off of their emotions. Though he detests the taste of fear, it is better than starving to death. Besides, as time went on, he learned how to portray himself in such a way that he no longer only got fear when he stopped a traveler. The money might have been a secondary motive, though one only thought of after he started to accumulate quite a bit of wealth.

As it is now, he has amassed enough wealth to be accepted, more or less, while he is acting as Flynn. He’s not bothered to try and enter the courts as he fears the temptation to steal of them right there would be too much for him to resist. He however does frequent the taverns, laughing and telling bawdy tales.
