Nu Jeds Theme Song Nu Jeds sits in Eastern Eden, on the Aizon river. It sits on a high narrow hill, overlooking the river. Crowning the hill is the Palace of Nu Jeds. At the base of the hill, on the river is a vast wharf area. The Aizon river is large and runs out into the ocean. Nu Jeds was once a lavished Edeniese trading metropolis before the barbarian invasions. It suffered, but as time passed and the barbarians who occupied Nu Jeds assimiliated to Edeniese culture, the city began to rise again. The city is designed with huge domes and towers. The Palace of Nu Jeds, which is one of the most defining features of the city, is surrounded by a wide plaza. On all sides of the hill, terraced plazas descend, with overbuilt buildings cascading over. From the base of the hill, the wide flat city stretches. It is designed with the perfect planning and symmetry of Edeniese planners. To the east, west and south are the two main streets, wide boulevards. connecting them are slightly curved streets. At the base of the hill to the north is the wharf. The river is wide and slow moving, and thus entire boat neighborhoods have been established. There are even great floating mansions, that sit between the narrow docks that stretch out far into the ocean. Around the border of the city is a great wall, that stretches to the river. Yet, the city overflows. The great wall marks the end of the planned city, and signifies the beginning of the labyrinth like shanty town that has surrounded the city. Surrounding this is a huge moat. |
