Giest walked into a wealthy looking shop, located in the more ritzy section of the market.

The interior of the shop proved his suspisions about how well of the owner was. It was large and had high quality hunting rifles and pistols on display. Gentlemens guns mostly.

Giest glanced at the prices of the display items, and was taken aback. Each one cost what amounted to a small fortune.
"Excuse me shop keep, but how much buisness do you get?"
"Oh, quite alot, I must sell many of these rifles a day, maybe 10."
"Ten 350 gold rifles a day?"
"Yes, sir, I do. Easly. I must sell twice the number of pistols."
"I see."

Geist stepped back from the counter and turned his back to the keep. The shop keep began to ask if he intended to purchase anything, but was interupted. Geist turned quickly, morphing into a bear as he went. He stood on his hind legs, the shop keeper shock, before he brought his claws down on the man.

With the owner thrashed, Geist went to monkey form and hoped behind the counter. He found the safe with the days earnings inside and collected the gold.

He pranced down the street as a buck, with the sack o' gold secure in his antllers.

The constables turned up at the scene of the shop a few hours after the mysterious bear had attacked and left. The shop wasn't harmed, but the safe which held the shops earning had been broken into and everything stolen.

"Hm, seems we have a little thief on our hands," the head constable stated, before looking around again. There was no evidence, it had been an almost perfect crime.

"Come on, let's go. This place has nothing. Perhaps they'll be some other crime to look into.."

The two constables left the scene, confused.

And that other crime did occur some time later. Geist had robbed varies shops, homes, and even bars. The list of stolin items ecluded a tent, a bedroll, blankets, clothing, guns, a complete climbers kit with spares, 200ft of rope, barbed wire, throwing knifes, and a sword, not even mentioning the near 300,000 gp.

The reports of the shop owners ranged from claiming an ape waltzed in and ran off with the items, others say they saw the stolen goods packed on a hourse running down the street, and still more say a man was the one who robbed them, but when they chased after him, all that was to be found where stray dogs or cats or a hourse tied up and a watering station.
