Morning Dew Located deep in the Eden forest, a large bulging manor sits. This manor was built during Shogun Graith's rule, for his retirement. Steadily, it became the residence for retired Serdian Monarchs. The manor is three stories, and follows a Graithian Serdian style. The entrance of the house is well known, because one must climb two flights of stairs before reaching the veranda which leads into the house. Wide Greeco-Roman columns hold the veranda from below, and even more columns upon the veranda connect it to the wide-pitched roof. Verandas exsist also on the second and third floor, which have large columns slowly spirraling down to the ground to keep them from falling apart. Graithian style involved many columns and almost insane building structure, which explains why few exsist today. The body of the manor is tall, yet very slender. Many columns, short, and very tall connect to the ground, around the staircase. Inside the home, all the rooms are connected by hallways. No matter how short the distance, one will most likely pass through 5-10 hallways going from oneside of the house to another. There are many elevators, to make travel between floors easier, but there are still long winding stair cases. Many olden furniture pieces are used from the Graithian period. Fine oaken wood is used on many furniture types, and little iron or brass. Most rooms have nice chairs and tables, and many beds are large and wonderous. The house is decked out in full pomp. |

Drake reached the manor in distress. How old and aged it was! It was not a pretty sight. Tangled webs of nature, molded wood, and broken glass and stone. It must've been looted ages ago. "How..what happened..?" Drake asked himself quietly. 'One hundred years,' His mind replied. Drake snapped to reality again. He sometimes forgot how much time had went..it was distressing to see a such a place where he had enjoyed childhood memories destoried. Anger infuriated him. "...why..?" He collapsed to the ground in sorrow. --- Rising from his stupor later on, Drake departed for Augusta.. |
