A large dark tower near the Hallowed Sanctorium. This is the meeting place of the elementals when they have meetings and also where new elementals are made for new Celestial souls. Only those elementals who aren't assigned to any host stay here and is usually very silent. There is only one entrance way for an non-elemental and that is through a large steel door at the bottom of the tower.

"Tasn. Jianki." a voice that belonged to a woman in crimson apparel muttered.

The woman was none other than the elemental Huang. After watching the fight between her host and the mystics, she decided to confirm her suspicions. A black orb and a yellow orb appeared and shattered, revealing Tasn and Jianki. Tasn now had long black hair that covered his eyes if he bowed and wore a formal black suit and gloves. His presence was forboding and his smile sent shivers down the backs of even the bravest elementals. He of course had looked like this ever since he was born and never thought of changing his appearance unlike many elementals such as Hame. Jianki on the other hand was the complete opposite. He had lengthy golden hair and wore a priest's robe and carried a black staff. His presence was welcomed and loved among all, but Tasn for they were rivals and as well as complete opposites. Both of them stood next to each other and sparks flew when their auras touched each other.

"What is it that you require?" Tasn asked frostily.

"It is about the Mystics. I suspect and have been suspecting that your two hosts are shells for the souls of two of them. Am I correct?" Huang inquired, sitting down on the crimson chair that was made for her when they had meetings.

"Nothing escapes your sharp eyes..." Jianki muttered, sitting down on the golden one made for him.

"Indeed. Sometimes I wonder if they would still work well if they weren't in those sockets." Tasn sneered, sitting down gracefully on his black seat.

Both elementals next to Tasn supressed shudders from that morbid comment.

"Well, what do you two intend to do? And do they know of your existance?" Huang asked a bit tense about one of the Mystics knowing about them already.

"I will serve my host like I have always been doing. I don't really see a big difference between the Mystic Gasana and the Celestial Garn. Except maybe I like Gasana's vile spirit. And yes, I do believe he knows about me although he hasn't shown any sign yet. Also, I do believe Gazali knows about me also...he did give me quite a nasty blow to the head while I was battling as Garn." Tasn responded, rubbing the back of his head unconciously.

"My new host does not know about me yet. Gasana has only told him what he needs to know to keep his identity secret. I doubt I shall emerge to fight for him at all." Jianki added.

"I doubt Gasana will ever do so...that is if his mind is as sharp as it had been." Tasn snorted and leaned back on his chair.

"Do you plan on telling your own host about the situation?" The Light Elemental inquired, brushing a lock his hair away from his eyes.

Huang closed her eyes and thought about it. Should she? It would probably be for the best, however, it might interfere with what Tathilia was planning.

"Perhaps..." She finally responded, opening her eyes.

"You shouldn't Huang." The Dark Celestial told her, to the two other elementals' surprise.

"And why not?" Huang asked, looking into Tasn's dead eyes.

"Because it would interfere with fate and the girl should learn about that shit on her own." The elemental responded, folding his gloved hands neatly on his lap.

"From what I gather, Tasn here probably just doesn't want you to so he can have some glory before being taken down again by the righteous side." Jianki commented, chuckling.

"You wound me you holy fool." Tasn sneered.

"I'm afraid the title of Holy Fool belongs to my host little Tasn." A voice said.

The voice startled the trio and they turned to see Lingenya the Elemental of Beginnings sitting on the purple throne chair, which matched his rather curious attire and hat.

"Just because I am a few minutes younger does not give you the right to call me that." The Dark Elemental snarled, glaring at the calm elemental.

"I believe my host has said that to your host at least a thousand times Tasn." Jianki muttered, rather amused.

"Better watch your tongue. You never know when one might cut it off from that sweet little mouth of yours dove boy." Tasn snapped, flicking out a silver knife to show the Light Elemental that he wasn't kidding.

"Please Tasn, control yourself." Huang muttered.

The Dark Elemental lowered his hand with the knife and put the device away, smirking at Jianki, who showed a faint hint of fear after the threat.

"Now...what brings you here Lingenya?" Jianki inquired, changing the subject.

"I just came by just incase when I heard Huang summoning for you two." The Elemental of Beginnings responded smoothly and convincingly.

"Oh really? If I didn't know better I would've thought you-" Tasn's statement was cut off by Jianki who covered the Dark Elemental's thin mouth with his hand.

Huang looked rather confused at how Tasn had looked at Lingenya and her when he was saying that. What made her more curious was how Jianki had done that so quickly...as if he knew it was going to start something.

"Thank you Jianki." Lingenya said, relieved...sometimes he wanted to incenerate Tasn when he tried so say something like that.

The Light Celestial gave a little yelp when Tasn got ticked off and bit his hand. Jianki withdrew his hand and the Dark Elemental got up.

"Well it seems there will be nothing else to be discussed here so I shall take my leave." Tasn said, disappearing with a loud crack.

Jianki followed reluctantly and left Lingenya and Huang alone.

"Gone. Completely gone." Genbu whispered, removing his hand from a single crystal pillar in the middle of the conference room.

The pillar was a multicolored crystal with names engraved upon it. Only certain elementals were allowed to touch it. This crystal knew all about the elementals and one would only have to touch it to know what a certain elemental was doing. However, two names were fading on the very bottom of the pillar; Tasn and Suzaku Huang. Byakko roared angrily in her tiger form and resumed the humanoid form. Her white locks whipped about dangerously and her eyes gleamed red.

"How? How can that happen?" She demanded, baring her teeth.

"Calm down little sister. You will cause the crystal to crumble further with that tantrum you are about to go into." Jianki muttered, glancing nervously at the pillar.

Hame went over to Byakko and held out a piece of pure white stone. He muttered something under his breath to her. Byakko glanced at the stone and then at Hame. She seemed to have calmed down for she returned to her tiger form and stared purring. Hame smiled and placed the stone in front of her.

"Huh, it amazes me a tart like you could calm Byakko down just like that." Lingenya sneered from far right side of Hame.

The elemental of end bit his lower lip and turned to Lingenya.

"She's always been very materialistic." he answered with a shrug.

"Err...does anyone know why Seriyuu is late?" Genbu suddenly asked, breaking the tension between Hame and Lingenya.

Hame, the Elemental of end sat near the crystal pillar, staring at it blankly. The soft humming that came from the crystal was the only sound in the room.

"What are you doing here?" Hame winced at the scorn in the voice.

The elemental turned to see Lingenya framed at the doorway. The older elemental's accusing eyes were locked upon his.

"Do I not have a right to be here brother?" Hame asked calmly.

"Don't call me brother," Lingenya snapped.

Steel-gray eyes looked hurt. The piercing words of the older elemental was like a verbal slap across the face. However, the Elemental of end attempted to stay strong.

"What is your business here Lingenya?"

"The usual you slut."

Hame closed his eyes, he knew it would serve him best to go over there and hurt Lingenya for his bad attitude, but he couldn't. Opening his eyes, Hame stood up and walked over to the Elemental of beginnings.

"Well then, I suppose I shan't bother you. Good day," Hame muttered as he brushed past the older elemental.

Seiryuu slowly slinked into his home. It was funny: when he was Gen's elemental he was constantly here, but after becoming Drake's elemental he hardly visited. Was this place so foreign to him now?

"...." Seiryuu gave a sigh as walked over to the crystal pillar. It was errily beautiful, and even he couldn't resist rubbing his hands across it. He lowered his head as his name appeared. It simply said:

Seiryuu - Visiting Elemental Talimanc

Seiryuu smirked, what a smart crystal. He unsheathed his claws for a moment. He knew it was a fragile gem..but if he just scratched it..what would happen? He raised his right hand(now in the form of a dragon's claws), and slowly moved it to scratch it..

A sudden hand came and grabbed Seriyuu's hand away from it.

"Don't. Touch. The. Crystal," Tasn's voice hissed in his brother's ear.

The elemental of darkness quickly dragged Seriyuu away from it and let go of him. Standing in front of the dragon elemental, he nose flared. Though pale usually, Tasn seemed even paler and his lips thinned dangerously. He was livid in anger. However, it wasn't just from the fact that Seriyuu almost tossed the whole elemental system out of order, it was also from his little show down in Zelpha during the festival of hunt.

"What has gotten into you boy?! First you go and disgrace our very name down in the mortal realm and now you come up and almost throw our whole order into chaos!" he roared, drawing his blade.

"Disgrace? I am afraid you are wrong. And our order? Our order is nothing but fake. It doesn't matter in the end, Lingenya is our lord, and shall always be. Maybe I have changed, maybe because I have been with a human host for so long..but you know what? I'm glad to be different. Celestials never want anything more, they are always satisfied. The weak are satisfied. Humans always want more..perhaps I have been changed, but it is for the better, Tasn." Seiryuu growled, drawing his sword.

"I would be better off not being related to you at all."

"Tsk, I've always told Suzaku that her host chose the wrong person to transfer you to. Look at you! You have even forgotten your own responsibility here! Hame isn't the disgrace, you are," Tasn spat.

Shifting his footing, the dark elemental suddenly used his speed to rush at Seriyuu, bringing his blade down on his younger brother.

Seiryuu blocked the attack, leaping back.

"Me? I am glad then. I also tell you a secret Tasn. Humans are niave. They cannot handle elementals as well as a Celestial. Drake is a strong man, but at times I have gained control of him..his body, his emotions..without the transformation. It is..hard to explain. But it is nice. It has taken many years to practice this skill, but I have mastered it. I am the one who woke the fool up, I am the one who got his throne back..and I am the one who signed the alligniance with Eden. He was having second thoughts..but like I said, Humans always want more. So I took control and signed the alligniance. I have been leading this war."

Tasn narrowed his eyes at that.

"You shall lose control soon Seriyuu. I'll make sure of it!" again he attacked, this time with ten swift strokes of the blade.

Every stroke was stronger than the next and the dark elemental was getting weary.

Seiryuu took the strikes, and grunted as he leaned on one of his knees. He smiled at Tasn..working him up was so much fun.

Tasn suddenly let go of his blade at took Seriyuu by the neck. Slamming his younger brother onto a wall, he held the dragon elemental there, choking him.

"Ah, but you won't beat me to it boy," he sneered.

"Tasn!" it was Jianki.

Tasn looked over at the door way and saw the light elemental framed there. He was looking at his older brother with much shock.

"Let Seriyuu down!" he ordered.

"Why?" here Tasn strengthened his grip.

Jianki glared at his older brother and approached them.

"Let. Him. Down. Now," he growled.

Tasn sniffed indignantly.

"No. This boy deserves to be taught a lesson," he said.

"And so do you," Jianki suddenly revealed his staff and he ran it through Tasn's chest from behind.

The rod was only a milimeter from touching Seriyuu. Tasn gasped in pain and let go of the dragon elemental. Jianki looked over at Seriyuu with an urgent glint in his usually carefree eyes.

"Flee, I'll take care of Tasn."

Tasn pulled himself out of Jianki's weapon with much difficulty. The light based weapon had caused the dark elemental to weaken considerably. Watery liquid spilled from the wound. Shakily, Tasn put his weight on the wall where he had had Seriyuu pinned to previously.

Jianki made a move to go over and help Tasn, but his older brother held out a hand.

"Don't...come...near...me..." he hissed as he sank to the floor.

"Tasn...I'm sorry, there was no other way. I doubt Seriyuu will ever return because of you..." he told him, kneeling to look his older brother in the eye.

"...get out," Jianki didn't budge.

Summoning all his strength, Tasn screamed once more, "GET THE HELL OUT YOU MISERABLE GOOD FOR NOTHING ELEMENTAL!"

The light elemental's hands immediately covered his ears. Sometimes Tasn had just too much ego to let anyone help. Jianki watched silently as Tasn slid into unconciousness.

Once he was down, the younger brother picked the hurt elemental up and walked out of the meeting hall, leaving both their weapons behind.

[OOC: Taken from chapter 3 of my secretive plot story write up. Warning: long and may disturb people.]

On the highest floor of the tower was a large crystal that hummed musically as it produced various flashes of colors. An octagonal table surrounded it and on the violet chair before the crystal was a violet-haired man with his head upon the table. He wore a suit of glimmering gold with various rings on his fingers and a hat sporting a single lovely white feather. Indigo eyes were half-lidded and he looked very drained, full lips colorless and slightly parted. No breath escaped his open lips.

"Lingenya!" a female's voice screamed.

The man closed his eyes completely and pressed his lips together, obviously irritated. Heaving himself from the table, he looked up at the swimming face in the crystal. It was a young woman with piercing yellow cat-like eyes, white hair and three black stripes on both cheeks. She looked enraged as she bared her canines.

"What, Byakko Lin?" Lingenya asked lazily.

"Tasn and Jianki are gone!" Byakko snapped, agitated.

Lingenya rubbed his temples and sighed.

"Of course they are. You host can't see them--"

"No, not Garn and Raghnall! I meant our brothers Dark and Light!" the female growled.

Lingenya froze and studied the fuzzy face in the crystal.

"Elementals do not just vanish. And even if they do, it is because they have been supressed strongly. Elemental of Darkness, Tasn and Elemental of Light, Jianki, have powerful hosts that have been named in tribute to their elements. I daresay they are quite capable of--"

"Elemental of Beginnings, Lingenya! Don't think of me stupid! We of the gifted four have already tried testing out all those. Brothers Tasn and Jianki have been wiped off the face of our realms! You can check the crystal yourself and--"

"Byakko! Do not speak to me like that! They are not erased and can never me--now leave me alone to deal with--"

"Deal with what brother? From what I saw, all you were doing was sleeping on the job. Two council members and siblings have gone without a trace from their Celestial hosts--you know full well how dangerous it can be with the Zhengs! Their impure blood allows them terrifying gifts and without brothers Tasn and Jianki, their powers will meddle with their minds! Mystic blood will conflict as well. This is serious, Lingenya," Byakko finished in a weary and cracked voice.

The Elemental of Beginnings sighed and propped his feet on the table.

"Spare me the drama. I've sent two other Elementals to substitue for our brothers. This isn't the first time those mortal twins have changed Elementals. They might get out of hand slightly as they adjust, but--"

"Raghnall launched Zephyr's prized pets on the mortal realm by borrowing his brother's energy," Byakko cut in, glaring at Lingenya.

The violet-haired Elemental froze, eyes wide with shock.

"And those two are doing immoral things to--"

"Ugh, shut up!" Lingenya snapped, turning green.

Byakko smirked in a way that meant, "I told you, you should've done something."

Removing his feet from the table, Lingenya got up and ran a hand through his violet tresses.

"Why the hell is this happening? The Elementals are being tampered with. That shouldn't have happened. Vitality and Innocence--especially Innocence shouldn't be behaving in such a way," Lingenya muttered.

Byakko snorted as she bit back a laugh.

"You actually sent Vitality and Innocence to do the job? Even though they're female influeneces? No wonder why it's taking so long to adjust," the white-haired Elemental said.

Lingenya shrugged. "They were conviently positions behind the twins when the sudden--oh gods! Lin, is there any way for us to find out why Innocence and Vitality were there?"

Byakko blinked, surprised by the disturbed look on Lingenya's face.

"No, but they have always been like that. They like to be around the pretty ones," Byakko replied.

"Was there anyone near the mortal twins when it happened?"

"Mm...I believe Waldron Zenon was a couple of doors away when it occured, but other than that--no. And speaking of Zenon, why is the halfling alive?" Byakko inquired.

"Don't look at me, Tenshya Senki let him go," Lingenya replied. There was a hint of approval in his voice.

Byakko frowned and suddenly vanished. She reappeared a moment later into the black and white chair in the weat end of the table. She was a tall woman with billowing robes of black and white. Her fingernails were long and sharp and her footwear were a pair of soft fur boots. Lacing her long fingers together, she looked at her brother unblinkingly.

"You do realize he will be executed once more, right?" she asked.

Lingenya looked indifferent about the though.

"Perhaps he won't like Sanire--"

"Sanire is a full Elemental, but a demonomic one. Waldron is an impure beast destined to die for his choices and birth," the female Elemental whispered delicately.

"It will not matter. He will never fully die--not if I can help it--"

"What will you do? Go against us and the gods to save--"

"I'm not saying that. His blood will save him from death's clutches once more," the Elemental of Beginnings interjected.

Byakko sighed in disgust. "He should've never been born."

"Perhaps, but Lady Fate--Tathilia Faten--thinks otherwise," Lingenya retorted as he relaxed back into his chair.

"Lady Fate's humor has gone dry over the years," Byakko spat.

Steepling his fingertips together, Lingenya gazed into the crystal.

"We are but her little puppets. She will do as she pleases. And oh yes, why aren't the other three of the gifted present?" Lingenya asked, tearing his dark gaze from the crystal.

"Seriyuu is busy with his human, Suzaku Huang is being used by Celestial Feng, Genbu is currently investigating," Byakko reported.

"And I take it you were at work 'till a few minutes ago?"

"Yes, you're lucky to have a Major God as a host. You have more free time," Byakko said.

"I would rather be busy, with Karin popping in and out, asking me if I want to play his sick version of poker," Lingenya said, turning greener.

Byakko chuckled and twirled a white lock between her fingers.

"Be honored a god wants to play strip poker with you. I never get to do such things," she told him.

The Elemental of Beginnings have his sister a quelling look.

"His elemental is a product of my drunken incestuous union with our youngest brother," Lingenya reminded her.

Byakko's cheeks twinged green.

"Ick--don't remind me. I like to think Sanire as my normal nephew. I still don't understand how you can hold a grudge against Hame for so long," the female Elemental murmured.

Lingenya twitched at the sound of the name.

"he was stupid enough to submit to Tasn in such a way--I don't acknowledge weakness in our council," the male Elemental sneered.

"But he's Hame, your favorite--the sweetest of the council. Spare me your excuses. You're just like your host--too proud to admit mistakes openly. Pride comes before a fall, ever hear of that?" Byakko's voice shook with fury, but Lingenya remained neutral.

"Hame has to be held responsible for his--"

"Oh, for pity's sake, brother! You were the one that raped him! You should've been the one we condemned, not Hame!" Byakko exploded furiously.

Lingenya frowned and his violet eyes flashed dangerously. "I am not for you to judge--"

"Then who?"

"I beg your pardon?"

"Who is to judge you, then?"

"The higher powers," the male Elemental managed to keep his voice even.

"Hmph, so if I gather the full council here, would we be the higher power to condemn you?" Byakko's voice was barely above a whisper.

Lingenya fell silent and gazed at the crystal with mild interest.

"You're just as bad as your deadly offspring, brother. And everyone knows you secret wish to be intimate with sister Suzaku Huang. You're sick and don't forget that, Beginnings," Byakko sneered.

There was a heavy silence between them. The scrapping of a chair and the slamming of the door told Lingenya that Byakko had left. He froze in place for a few seconds and then fell back onto the table, with his face bured in his arms. 'A curse, I'm a bloody curse.'
