Located south of Vulcan, past the foggy environs of the Mist Ocean, is the island of Mistia. The southern most point of known Zelpha, it is a foreboding place covered in an arctic tundra. The dreaded mist, which addles the mind and spawns monsters all over Zelpha, originates from Mistia. A mythical kingdom flourished on this island centuries ago, but there remains nothing of it. Little life can be found on this tragic isle, oft avoided by wise travelers.

The History of ZEAL has been chaotic to say the least. Though it was once a technological power, after a two subsequent, destructive attacks by the Dark Lord Mortikan and the Dark Lord Garn, the land fell into a nuclear winter. Yet it has awoken from that slumber and become a verdant land, home to a number of small and modest Kingdoms and City-states.

The Island of Bali is home to two states: The Kingdom of Bali and the Principality of Ivendell, both members of the Sade Confederacy. The Island was once the center of the Kenjikan Empire, that ancient source of modern culture. It is also one of the larger islands in the Kenjikan Dustbowel and by far the safest and most cultured.

Rolling green hills, lush nature, and symbols of a civilization long-gone, the Highlands remain tied to nature and superstition. It is hardly a place of safety--dangerous caves and woods hide in every nook, where Untamed clans sit and hide, ready for their next snack. If there is one place untouched by the Human race, it is the Highlands. It is also home to a few minor Kingdoms, though these are for the most part, less civilized even than the states of ZEAL.
