An Intruder has Penetrated our Force Fields! Posts: 2,400 Group: Administrators Member #1 Joined: December 11, 2004	Note: Since V2 isn't here yet, we're playing for posts. If you watch the show, you already know how to play, only the amounts are different, the user that will play is determined in a certain way, and also Nintendo characters are in here, among other things. Skip the next section if you know how to play. If not, keep reading. Playing the game There are 26 cases, with 26 different amounts. A chart that appears later on shows the amounts. When you begin, you first pick a case that you will keep throughout the game, unless you want to sell it, which we'll talk about later in this post. Once you decide what case you want, you'll want to know what's in your case. The way we find out, though, is by opening up the other cases. What's in those cases isn't in your case, so if you come across the number 50, your case doesn't have the 50 amount. You will keep opening cases in this matter. Along the way, Wario (our banker) will make offers to sell your case for as little as possible. Wario doesn't want you getting those large numbers in your case. You can either accept his offer, or you can decline it and open up more cases, seeing if you can raise the deal up. The game continues until you take a deal from Wario, or you go all the way and decide to see what's in your case. Whatever you get is what is added to your stats in your profiles and mini-profiles (the stats that show up in threads). However, you're better off getting larger numbers, who knows when you can come back and play again. The Chart Red = Small Amounts Green = Big Amounts Blue = Large Amounts Gold = Huge Amount Black = Inactive Amount (been picked) Davis's Current Progress 1 2 3 4 5 6 8 10 20 30 40 50 75 100 200 300 400 500 750 1,000 2,000 3,000 4,000 5,000 7,500 10,000 Note: For those of you in Europe, just replace the commas with dots. For the player: Refer back to this chart when you start opening up cases. How to enter Simple. You PM me with the title: Joining Deal or No Deal and say you want to join, plus put in a few comments if you like. After getting a certain number (3 is the mininum), I'll select a user to play, and that user could walk away with 10,000 posts! For those of you that don't want to play, or weren't selected, you could still get 100 posts by playing our sweepstakes. Just PM me with the title: Deal or No Deal Case Choice and inside a case number choice (1-6), plus some comments if you want, and after the game, I'll tell everyone which case contains 100 posts. If one person gets the right case, he/she will get the posts. If multiple people select it, I'll choose randomly which user will get it. If no one selects it, I'll pick another case, but with a smaller amount of 75. If no one gets it, I'll keep going, but the number will decrease, until someone wins. If no one enters the sweepstakes, we will not have it and you'll have to wait until next game to enter. Don't miss the deadline. Setting up your posts So, you've been selected to play, eh? Well, the number of cases you have to open can be combined in one post. For example, you need to open up 6 cases in the first round, just list 6 different numbers in your post and they'll be opened at the end of my next post. As for Wario's deals, in your next post, say DEAL if you want the offer, and you'll walk away with it (and Wario might be happy at the end), or say NO DEAL if you don't want it (and Wario will give you a different offer later on). There may come a time when you have two cases left and you decline the deal, Wario may offer you a chance to switch your case (the other one might have the bigger amount...). After that, your case will open. Your game ends when you take a deal, or open up your case. Good luck. The Characters These posts would get boring, so I'm going to bring different characters with me. They won't speak (some of them never have), but they will open the cases when they get the ok to do so. Some of them might open up the cases in a different way (like slashing it apart), so it gets more interesting to read. I may bring in different characters into the set to replace others, but it'll mainly be these 26 characters holding the cases: 1. Mario 2. Luigi 3. Peach 4. Daisy 5. Toad 6. Toadette 7. Yoshi 8. But, now, he's pretty persistent, he's got one more offer for you if you decide not to take it. His offer went up from 856 posts...to... 1,925 posts. You can take the deal if you want, or you can decide to continue. If you want to continue, Wario will give you a final offer, a case trade. If you feel your case is starting to lose its luck, Wario can trade the number 9 case, for number 3. If you decide to trade, your case will now be number 3. Either way, we're opening up the cases after you decide on these 2 important decisions. You could walk away with 7,500 posts, or you could leave with 200.
