"I understand perfectly- give me a minute." Klien muttered darkly, drawing his laser pistol. He adjusted a knob on the side, to spread the beam- to blind the lizard-thing if he needed to. Bleeding stupid thing. Dammit. I'll have to fix ED again, and. . . ARGH. Why is he chewing on him!? The muted sounds of ED beeping in a rather distressed manner, wiggling in the thing's mouth, had alerted him to the fact that the lizard was chewing on it. "You. Lizard. Let my robot go. Now." He stared directly into the lizard-thing's eyes, shaking with anger that was barely being held back, laser in one hand. |

The lizard saw the two... and let his mouth wide open so ED could fly out. "But... It bit me...", he said with a small voice a bit scarred. His tail curled up to his body, and judging from ED's damage, it was only dents and one puncture on one part, it looked like he was only gnawing on it and wasn't trying to do any harm. It was clear to him that the two new people were clearly not very nice and not to be messed with... |

"...Good, at least you're not too stupid to listen," Angena said, glowering at the lizard. She lowered her hand, the flames going out. "The robot was just doing a... a thing Klien does. It... remembers who and what you are, or some shit. It's not meant to hurt. He does it to everyone, including me." She took a step back, as the robot returned to Klien. "Is it gonna be alright, Klien?" she asked, looking at ED. It looked like the lizard had done a number on the outer shell, but it didn't hurt the function at all. |

"Eh. . . ED will be fine." The little robot flew to Klein, then seemed to hide behind him, for now, before he walked further away from the lizard, towards his train. He started to fix the little robot immediantly, seeming to focus on his work- but he yet listened to the others. He worked quickly, as if fixing the little robot was something that happened more often that you'd think it would happen. Glad it listens, at least. Or I might've lost my little bot. Gotta keep him away- and myself away- from the lizard. Damn thing is a chewing hazard. |

"Now... We must decide on where to go. We could try going to 3 different kind of Locations... None of them really easy to access, or to survive in it." Fenrik said as he continued, after he felt the attention of those 3 back to him. "There is the Hammer in Olympus... the Wand is in Atlantis and the Scale is somewhere in Valhalla." He said completely serious. The existence of those 3 places were not as foggy as you may think, since the Yggradisil was in reach... but Atlantis... and Olympus? Those were only places of myth... right? "Now... Valhalla will be unavailable for us, since Lizard Bee got tricked into losing the Game. We could try again, but this time it would be a fight. To the death. And I'm guessing that is bad for our companion." Fenrik said as he looked at the Bee with some laziness. "So it's really up to you where you want to go." "If I were you, I would see if anyone else is trying to go in Yggdrasil and try to sabotage them, either by letting them get the tool and the steal it or just simply dispose of them. That would makes thing easier. In the other hand though, that would reveal your faces therefore the likelyhood of you getting caught" Edited by Dendyn, Mar 23 2012, 01:44 AM.

The lizard looked at the wolf and simply said, "Are you sure that kitsune will fight us...? I mean he did say I got another chance if I remember...", the lizard said as it wandered around, unsure if there were any other 'ED' s around. |

The lizard looked at the wolf, wanting to say more or argue that the kitsune was possibly nice... But he had a feeling if he kept going it would end with him in a box or something. So he quieted down, and wandered a little looking for any other 'ED' s that might nearby, even though there was a good chance there wasn't. |

So, the options had been laid out before them. Angena put a claw on her chin, tapping idly as she pondered their possible paths for progression. All they had to do was get those tools, it sounded like, and beat up anyone who tried to stop them or take the tools first. That seemed simple enough. Valhalla was shut out to them because the lizard bee was an idiot, apparently, so that option was out the window. The other two spots were "O-limb-pus," which sounded like some sort of wasteland infection, and "At-land-is," which was just an... odd name. The people of this world were weird. Freaks. In any case, she had no idea where either of those two places even were. There was also the option of going into the big tree or whatever, which was supposedly close to them, and seeing if anyone else was entering it. If someone entered it, they could beat them up and take their tool, which would save Angena and her gang some trouble. The wolf suggested it, though, and she didn't really trust his judgement. Still... eh, it sounded easiest. "Perhaps we should pay this big ol' tree a visit, then," Angena mused. "If what wolf-boy here is saying is true, we might be able to save ourselves from trouble and just beat someone down for their tool." |

"Ergh, but after that, we go to Olympus. It isn't in the middle of the ocean, and it isn't closed off to us." He threw a dirty look at the lizard-thing, before checking his laser pistol. Shooting someone might be fun, then again, might just get us enemies. Then again, I'd rather keep Angena on my side, than anything else. So. . . tree first it is. Wheeee. |

"So... you really want to go back to Yggdrasil. Interesting" He said as he looked at the party. "Ok then. Since you want to make the trip back, I will allow detours in many places. We need to traverse through Spain, France, Germany to eventually get to Sweden, the Home town of the Tree. We can't really delay that much so you need to precise on where to visit or not" ----------------------- Ok, this is the part of the Rp where I'll let you decide where you need to go. The lizard climbed on top of the wolf and said happily, "Well maybe we could stop somewhere, but I say let's get to the tree as soon as possibl-", he then stopped randomly and started to think. He climbed off the wolf and thought a bit. He went over to the scientist guy with the 'ED' thing, looked for a bit, then said with a simple smile... "Can you make a cannon thingy? Maybe if we had one we could be able to get to the tree...", he then started to get a little hyper and laid down near the scientist. "OH OH OH MAYBE A DRILL! We could go to a spot, then drill under the tree, and get the thing!... Or maybe we could use a water thing? I mean trees have roots and they carry nutrients...", it was clear whatever good idea the lizard had it went away. |

"Wait, that's your definition of 'nearby'?" Angena said, raising an eyebrow. She wasn't entirely sure the other places weren't closer... which made no sense. "So we would travel for a week to see if someone -might- be there for us to beat them up for their tool? And the entire thing might just be a waste of time?" She shook her head. "Maybe one of the other places is better, I guess. What do you think, Klien?" |

"Well, Atlantis, it stands to reason that it'd be underwater. So a no-go. Valhalla is closed due to Mister Dunce, so Olympus is the only real option. In the mountains of Greece, I think." He scratched his head. "If we are going to be going across a continent again, then lets go get something that is actually, you know, there, instead of hoping that someone walks by." He shook his head at the golem-wolf, and looked at his compass. "We better get going, anyway." He climbed into his vehicle, and it started to roll slowly. He didn't seem to hear the lizard-person, thinking his ideas too crazy to even respond to. This whole thing is one big cluster shit. And I'm stuck in it. |

The lizard saw the wolf run off, so he followed as fast as he could, some of his pots he had clunking together making an odd sound as they hit each other. It sounded nice, but all mixed up. Like a song where all it's notes were scrambled in the song. He did his best to catch up, so he could walk by the wolf. |

That wolf was really freakin' weird. He just rushed off into the forest, without waiting for them. Ah well, they had a vehicle, so they could probably keep up... She supposed it was good at least one of them knew where the hell they were going. She herself certainly didn't have a clue where this O-limb-pus was. Klien probably did though, she suspected. Guy had a lot of weird knowledge, which he didn't like to shove down other people's throats. A nice change, when it came to smart guys. Angena hopped back in the locomotive. "Well then, err... I guess we follow the White Death Breath over there," Angena commented, taking a shot at Fenrik's... less than admirable breath. Guy could've used a mint. |

"Well, yeah. The crazy one, instead of the dull one." He gave a small chuckle, as the train-turned-road vehicle picked up speed slowly, the trailers rattling and clanking behind, but keeping up. With any luck, it won't be too hard to get there. Then we can finally get something done, instead of just, well, wandering about. |

And so the party began to travel around all Europe with great haste as time began to fly by. The travel itself was not that long, it only took roughly 5 days... But many things happened during those five days. First, the war that was being rumored on the west was true, perhaps a little too true. The soldiers of each band had began marching west to the coast, with muskets and swords in their soldiers. The sight of soldiers and the fact that the motive of the war was still unclear was beginning to worry Fenrik. He had been suspicious of the fact that the war was... more chaotic then usual. The camps that they had to evade were more chaotic then usual as soldiers began to even question the reason of their involvement. Fenrik just chuckled as he went back to camp. The days passed and so did the Nights. They passed through France, where Magic was a common skill for commoners there. Magic was displayed on the streets as both artisans and traveling caravans displayed their magic power. Angena, taking a liking on a book, "borrowed" as they exited Paris... but had yet to find a mentor to teach her what the book spoke of. They travelled through Germany, where the machinery was basking and showing how much can life actually improve with the power of steam. The golems and the machines that were displayed made Kliens eye go BOOM as ED was getting crazy with the amount of sheer schematics it had to record for it's master. The vehicle itself had time to be upgraded, allowing it to actually now traverse most enviroments and also sea, which meant for Angena and Klien the "FUCK THE SAILORS, WE GOT A FUCKING BOAT" sign that they so exasperatedly wanted after the encounter with the captain. Sadly, Lizard Bee had to stay out of the cities as he had to avoid contact... But he received an interesting piece of info while hiding in the bushes. Near Greece... The queen that all of their race was actually looking for was seen heading east. Same direction that them... That is weird. Why was she heading to the cold? To the Great Cold? But... The mountain with the City on the Sky Was in sight. ----------------------------- Welcome to the first real stage! |

The lizard bee looked at the mountain. The pots he was carrying were now getting excessive. The pots had wax, honey, seeds, berries, and flowers from all the plants he had seen. He liked the travel, there were many nice things but his simple though of packing down and finding a home nagged on his mind. Even though he was still a bit fat due to all the heavy pots he had been carrying constantly made him build muscle very well. His old wings were now simply just wings that could not be used. They were damaged and even if he healed them it would take him even longer to figure out how to fly due to his new weight. |

The travel through the various countries had taken awhile, and given Angena an opportunity to see many strange sights that this world had to offer. It appeared to be a bit dangerous, as there was a war going on, but Angena didn't really mind that too much. After all, if anyone could appreciate the extra chance to run into a potentially deadly conflict, it was her. She dared any soldiers try to stop her from her riches and power. She'd hit them so hard they'd fly through the air, back to their hometown in a casket. The wolf seemed pretty frightened of the soldiers, though, since he made them evade every single one of their camps. Whatever... It wasn't that big a deal. Angena had managed to obtain a book. It was in France, a nation with a lot of people that had silly accents, but also great access to magic power. It seemed like every street urchin and their mother had some kind of magic at their disposal. Angena felt like she fit in, she guessed, and one book in a strange store caught her fancy... The store seemed to have a variety of magical items, and this particular book was on a pedestal in a corner. Angena was entranced by it, which was unusual - usually she couldn't give a rat's ass about books. She couldn't read very well anyways. Still, something about the book made her covet it, and Klien had promised to give her a little schooling... Maybe he could use this book for teaching her how to read? She ended up, erm, 'borrowing' the book. She didn't usually make too much of a habit out of theft, but sometimes it just seemed too irresistible to pass up. Perhaps Klien could tell her what it said... Then again, she would hate to have to ask someone for help so clearly like that. It wasn't in her nature, really. If he offered, though, she'd jump at the chance. But she was too proud to just ask. Klien also seemed wrapped up in the new additions to his vehicle. The locomotive could now apparently travel on water... Which meant Angena wouldn't ever have to deal with any pansy-ass, love-obsessed bastard sailors ever again. She could definitely get behind that. Angena looked up at the mountain, which had a city atop it. She guessed this was O-limb-pus. Or whatever it was called. She didn't really give a damn, she just wanted to find the tool or whatever so they could move on with getting their power already. "...All the way at the top of that mountain, eh?" Angena said. "...Seems like it'll be a real pain in the ass to get up there... Can you get your train-machine-thing up there, Klien? Or are we walking?" Edited by Lifon, Mar 29 2012, 06:28 PM.

Klien had noticed that she had. . . lifted the book, much earlier in the trip. But he was enough of a goodie-two-shoes to go back and pay the shopkeeper, to keep from having police after them, after all. It would be an inconvinience. Coulda stayed longer in Germany. . . ohwell. Better to be on our way, and I've got a lot of new schematics, so its enough. Now I'm just waitin for her to ask about the book. Ohwell. Soon, they were at Olympus, and, instead of answering her question, he just opened the throttle and the train started to move uphill, just straining a little bit. But it seemed well able to make the climb. |

"Up we go then..." Fenrik said as he began walking to the top too. The ascent was slow and at minute painful. The mountain was feeling bigger and bigger. The clouds were getting mustier and mustier too as if the mountain itself was not letting them go on top. The City of The Gods was a tough place to actually reach. Fenrik was not tired as he was a machine but he could begin his gears beginning to strain. But... A stair could be finally seen and a space large enough for the train to actually park. "We should probably stop here and rest before heading up..." ------------------------------------------------- "Guards... Bring me the assassin" The King of England said as he sought out for the guard as he smiled. The Guard nodded and click his fingers as they brought before him, an assassin that had been captured days before. "Did you think that killing me was going to be that easy!" |

The lizard already had set up a temporary camp area. He had taken off all his pots and straps, and had some open, one was near a fire and as it heated up it released a wonderful fragrance. It smelled very nice. His tail softly moved as he looked at everyone else, unsure what they wanted to do while they rested. |

Name: Amaya Race: Kitsune Age: 16 (in kitsune terms, she is way older then 16) Gender: Female Element: Illusion/shadow Description: Amaya prefers to stay in a hybrid form of her kitsune state and in both her fox and hybrid form she has black fur and amber eyes and does usually look rather happy and a bit ditzy. She is clad in a white kimono most of the time when she isn't working. When working or when she needs to be serious the kimono fades as an illusion to reveal a smooth black leather armor underneath with many pockets and knives here and there as well as two small straight blades on her back used for thrusting and slashing attacks. her expression changes to a cold and almost emotionless expression when in this mode a total change from her previous self. She has two tails. Personality: While preferring to take things easy and be happy with things and enjoying the occasional prank she does take enormous pride in her work and ability and will completely be serious and calm when something needs to be done. For outsiders it's almost that she has two different personalities. One when she is working which is a cold calculating and calm personality type and the other when having free time is a fun loving and prank loving one. Powers: Skilled assassin: Knows many arts on how to kill people and move silently and has training in throwing weapons as well as the light blades she carries. Echo: Creates afterimages of herself that confuses the foe as they are able to walk around independently and since they are good illusions their strikes hurt but not all that much like her true self. Shadowstep: She has perfected an art with shadow control and can teleport between shadows. It has a 10 meter range and while the first use is rather costly magic wise it will increase in cost each time used in short succession so it becomes increasingly exhausting to use it many times in a row. example: if it would cost 10 mp in base and each time you use it under a short while you add 10 to it's cost Illusions: Is able to conjure illusions of varying degrees of intensity. if she really does focus she will create illusions that feel real and look real and can actually interact with the world even though they aren't close to being as strong as she is. Weaknesses: Stand up fight: She is good at killing people but not really when they are in a stand up fight with her therefore she has to rely on her assassin, shadow and illusion skills to help her dispatch of foes. Exhausting skills: Her skills and magic are exhausting so she has to fight quickly and mercilessly if she wants to be able to continue forward. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There was a young female black furred kitsune in a pretty bad shape after being captured rather violently by the guards, she stumbled to the ground as they threw her there and kept her down and she was dazzled by the light as she had been trapped in that cell for enough of a long time to become totally adapted to the dark down there. "Ugh... No I did not. But you shouldn't have been able to counter me at my every move, someone must have informed you about my position or mission." She had been really taken by surprise by the efficient way they managed to discover her and capture her. Amaya sighed and continued. "You know that you won't get anything useful from me." |

Standing up and exiting the locomotive, Angena stretched languidly, glad to be able to move her legs after the long ride. They had almost fallen asleep, and felt rather stiff. Angena grabbed her book, looking it over. "Alright, let's take some time to rest, then..." she said, preoccupied with looking at the book's cover. The strange glyphs that covered it seemed so foreign to her... And looking inside the tome was even worse. She could understand a few words... per every few pages. A lot of words just seemed to be mocking her... She didn't know why, but for once, she actually cared what was in a book. But... She had no way of knowing what the book was even really about, not without help... She stood by the fire, with the lizard bee. The thing was burning something that smelled like some fancy-ass hotel's perfume or some shit. It didn't fool Angena, though, she knew that crap was some natural secretion of the lizard. Just disgusting, really. She tried not to think about it as she flipped through the book. Fenrik, the White Death on Meth, had not said anything too offensive since she tossed him into the ocean, even through their entire trip. That was good. It proved that her usual way of dealing with assholes was quite effective, quite effective indeed. Klien had been quiet during the ride, tinkering on his robot companion, doing check-ups. She really, really hated to admit it... But maybe she was wrong. At least a little. Maybe not -all- scientists were self-righteous do-nothing pricks... Klien was definitely nothing like that. He was no stranger to combat, and when he did smart things, he didn't try to be all proud and shit and explain it all to make her feel stupid. He just went ahead and did them, like a badass should. No big words, no condescending demeanor. Angena had never actually, well, genuinely liked company with another sentient being before... Hell, she hated pretty much everyone. But Klien... Eh, she didn't know. She liked having him around, for some reason... "...Hrm..." She looked at Klien, then the book in her hands, then Klien again. "Um... errr..." she started, suddenly looking embarrassed, and searching for the right words. It was rare to see her badass shell broken, and her spirit vulnerable, but being forced to ask for intellectual help was one surefire way to do it. But she really wanted to know about the book... And hell, Klien had already heard worse things that made her seem less of a badass than "Can you help me read this book?" She shuddered, thinking about all the crap she spewed that night at the junkyard. Well, maybe not crap, just... Stuff. Stuff she didn't want anyone to hear. "C-could you... well... Um..." She stumbled over the words, a blush coming to her cheeks. "H-help me... read this book?" |

Klien set a few dials, made sure that the locomotive wouldn't do anything bad while he was out of the cab, before climbing down. Thins have been going pretty well. I wonder how long it'll last. . . hopefully a bit longer than this, I think. Got a lot of good stuff to think about, though. He went over to the fire, sitting down, the little robot hoving next to him- it hadn't left his side since it had gotten chewed on- and he gazed into it. Hopefully we have smooth sailing ahead. That was when he heard her ask, ask for help with. . . the book she picked up. Knew she'd ask eventually. . . gotta handle this carefully. He gave a soft smile. "Sure." Perhaps I can keep teaching her. . . that'd sure be great. Have an assistant who can break a frozen bolt free. Heee. A good-looking assistant. He started to help her read the book, starting at the beginning- it wasn't too hard, once you got the hang of it, but it did use some big words that he had to explain. He tried his best not to be patronizing, though, knowing that'd be the quickest way to tick her off. |

Crazy is relative Insanity is the spice of life You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in YOU! I mean, hell, if we went back in time with a briefcase nuke and just glassed a section of the desert we'd be worshipped as omnipotent world destroyers a couple thousand years later. | |

The reading of the book grew to a halt when they finally noticed that after 15 pages of prologue and intro, the book was blank. A 250 page book was blank. There was no clue either to actually learning how to unveil the secret it held, for it was obvious that magic had to be involved. "Looks like the book needs a little more than the eyes of a Scientist." Fenrik said as he laid on the floor and gave his gears a rest. "Now I'll explain to you Angena what you will be facing and what you will be looking for." Fenrik waited to get the full attention of Angena as he then began talking as simple as he could. "This stair will take to the Sky city of Olympus. In the past, it was believed that the town was full of Gods that control the lives of all the people on the land. But in recent years, scientist discovered that they were a new kind of human, humans that managed to control Magic. Magic in that age was not that popular so the select few gathered in the city." "If you want a comparison of any city in the surface... it would Las Vegas. The city is now corrupt, vile and torn to pieces by the magic and gamble that has been ocurring in the last years. You could literally feel at home there." He said with an added smirk. Quickly though he continued saying "We know the tool is there... but we don't where it is. Magic is the key element here so we need you to be close to us. Other contestants will try to actually here now. Believe me in that." "This time, there will not be a Single Guardian... Many guardians can appear at the same time, each one with a different Game for you to beat. If you do manage to win though, they should give you a hint... and if not, death is one of the many options they have." He said with serious tone. "Be wary... and be on the lookout." ---------------------------------- A man with a mask walks from behind the Assassin as he then say "Ah yez... The feizty one." he said as he walked beside the king and he materialized a chair. "I zee that you are not been that well my dearzest Amaya" as he sipped on a cup of tea. "We have a mission for you to do." The king said as he looked at the assassin. "I want you to leave my head alone and focus on an easier but much better paid targets." "Yez... The targetz..." He said as he snapped his fingers and the 4 faces of the main group appeared. "Are these. We'll hand 1 million dollar... per head" Edited by Dendyn, Apr 1 2012, 03:02 AM.

"You do know where I come from don't you. Then you should give me a reason why i should assassinate these people." Amaya said and wondered if they knew where she hailed from. She wouldn't just take money and assassinate someone, their order had a code and it was damn important for her and her order to follow. Yeah they got paid to do jobs but those jobs was only accepted if it aligned with the goals of what the order strives for. A balance between order and chaos. |

The lizard looked like he was going to fall asleep, but before he possibly fell asleep he pushed more pots next to the fire, releasing COUNTLESS fragrances into the air, all of them related to plants, fruits, and other plants. He smiled softly as he waited for something to happen. As he did he thought about the kitsune at the Mother Tree. Could he possibly do another game with him?... It didn't seem fair he did that trick... |
