As they exited the now-useless submarine, they were greeted by the congratulatory clapping of a strange old guy. He wore an odd sweater, and had hair that acted as if it were trying to get away from itself. His eyes held a certain wisdom, and though he wasn't wearing a lab coat, Angena immediately pegged him as a man of science. The people she had grown up reviling... but, recently grown to accept and even cherish. It was not unexpected, of course... Who else would be guarding the Tool of Technology, if not a master of it? Just as she had to face the master water-mage Samuel, Klien would have to prove himself to this... Albert, was it?

She turned to Klien, raising her eyebrows in surprise. How did Klien know this guy's name? Did they meet at some point in the past? Or was he just some sort of famous guy? Klien mentioned the theory of Rail-I-TV-T, at least, she thought that was what he said. Was this guy some kind of big head honcho in the science world, who made that crazily-named theory? "Klien... How do you know this guy?" she asked, looking at him cautiously. If her own battle with Samuel had been any indication, this man would not hold back in their challenge. Klien's life might very well be on the line... and that caused a lump of worry to form in her stomach, for she knew there was little she could do to help him. This challenge was his and his alone to complete... But she had faith in him, and would be there for support.

"Hot damn..." Mana said as she walked down to him. "THE Albert? The man that created the Nuke... ?!" She said. Not as in fascination, but rather... seriousness.

"And you are Klien, the Seeker of the Tool of Machine. Yeah, they told me that you were coming" He said as he walked to table with a whiteboard beside it. There were others seats, as if they were going to have an afternoon tea. It seemed... recurrent, considering that Jacks had invited them the same way to start the quest that could finish now.

"And, yes, I'm Albert. Funny though, I thought I would never come to see you".

"So, I've come for the tool, as you know." Klien strode over to the table, but did not take a seat.
"You aren't going to just hand it over, are you?" That would be too easy. "You'll want me to jump through hoops, aren't you?"

"What mistakes do you refer to? Ones like "Oh, let me send two letters to the president of the most powerful country in the world, to make the most powerful bomb the world has ever seen. This can't go wrong, nope, nuh-uh." " Klien said rather sarcastically, looking Einstein in the eye.

"It was either the United States, or Hitler. I was offered a chance to get away and have refuge on good soil. But... I never thought that they were going to use the Bomb. I developed it... and I gave it to them. I created a black mark on history, in all histories." He said as he looked at Klien. "All of my accomplishments are blacken when I think of the news of Hiroshima and Nagazaki. How I was just about to leave the field of Science... and just retreat."

He serene himself as then he asked. "What are you going to do with the Tool?"

"Simple. Stop Jacks, to let the world progress as it should- and if I had my way, advance it enough to spread people to the stars above. Advanced enough that what happened to my world, would not mean the end of civilization as we know it." Klien said rather confidently.

"All you have to do is take Jack's mask off, to defeat him. That isn't too hard- that is a fight, simply put it. And how to help the world? I've already got the base to build off of, to build what is needed, as well. Nanomachines."

"Nanomachinery... " He said as he just sighed and said "This people are struggling to understand what Electricity and you want to give Nanomachinery..."

"Ok then. Here, have the Tool" He said as he took a Hammer and threw it to Kliens Feet. "I can see that the tool will never activate and that my worries are for naught" He replied.

"As usual."

"How do I know this is the tool? How do I know this is not a trick? What proof will you give me?" Klien said, as he picked up the hammer- holding it securely, though. If it wasn't a trick, he'd have to keep it.
"Besides, I said that bringing civilization to the stars is my eventual goal. My short-term goal is to just let technology advance, after taking Jack down, after all."

He threw a blackboard pen and said "Teach the young lady beside you the Laws of Newton, and have her solve a problem using all laws." He said as looked at him and pointed at Angena.

"I'll observe. You have the blackboard to your advantage and don't worry about the ink. It won't run out."

"Wait, what?"

Angena's eyes widened in shock, as she stared at the strange man. A man that led to the creation of the nuclear bomb... and the eventual blowing-to-hell of her world. It was a bit much to take in, and she didn't really know how to feel about it. This old guy with the crazy hair didn't seem... evil. Could he have really been the one to cause all that pain? After thinking for a moment, she realized that was pretty stupid of her to think. She wasn't a history buff, but she knew enough about the past to know the big-head-honchos of the American and Chinese governments were equally to blame for what they did with that potent technology. It wasn't any one guy's fault... it was an entire generation of misguided, idiotic leaders. That being said... this man was still obviously someone to fear.

And now, he wanted to have Klien teach her... the Laws of Newton? What were those? She looked to him, her face betraying the fact that she had absolutely no idea. She guessed it had something to do with science, but she was no scientist... She hadn't studied anything a day in her life, much less done experiments or worn fancy lab coats. Why would Klien have to try to teach her about these... Laws? As far as she knew, the Wasteland didn't have any real laws, just kill or be killed... And Newt-On sounded like a bad, old-world body-spray that was salamander-scented or something equally absurd. The Old World had some pretty damn crazy things in their markets. "Why me? I'm..." She said, becoming flustered. She had expected this to be Klien's trial, but now his success might rely on her. And, now she knew... She was simply too dim for this... She frowned, already feeling she had failed him.

"Alright, hmm." Klien picked up the writing utensil- as a blackboard, it used chalk, to be written on. Not a pen, as Albert wanted to trip him up, with.
"First law. Something not moving, keeps on not moving, unless somebody, or something, pushes on it. Basically. So, for example, you have a rock, just sitting on the ground. It won't move until something picks it up, or pushes on it." He drew a rock on a line, as a helpful illustration.
"That said, if say, someone picks it up and throws it, it'll keep on flying through the air, until it hits something- even though it can't throw itself. Something in motion will stay in motion, until stopped." He drew another picture, with a rock flying through the air, as a helpful illustration.

The lizard getting tackled woke up as soon as he was tackled, out of a random reaction he bit HARD on a part of the werewolf fuzzy being... He was latched on the werewolf's neck... and he was dug in HARD. The lizard bee scratched HEAVILY as he panicked. He then let go and darted off as fast as he could. The lizard bee's head HURT even more now, everything was loud as hell and blinding like a light right into his eye, hell he was unsure where he was running...
While he did run though, the werewolf's bite wound leaked a yellow/green like substance...

So by "Law," they weren't talking about the old-style rules and fancy judges and whatnot, Angena surmised. They meant... scientific laws. Or, from what she could tell, how shit worked. That was probably an important thing, for scientists... since their work largely depended on manipulating what already existed. Magic had some Laws too, then, she supposed... but they were loosely defined at best, and more... free. Angena didn't really think she was smart enough to understand this "Newton" guy's work. Still, she had to try to comprehend it... Klien's success depended on it, apparently. She didn't know what teaching her this stuff would do for science - she sure as heck was too dim to use it, but the white-haired guy seemed set on her learning it.

"Wait, but..." she started, trying to take in Klien's example with the rock. She guessed that made sense... rocks didn't move on their own, unless you chucked them, but... "If you throw a rock, even if it doesn't hit anything, doesn't it still fall?" she asked, scratching the back of her head as she frowned. "So it doesn't really stay in motion forever... right? And what about us? We move, and I don't think anyone is 'acting' upon me or anything..." She tried to wrap her head around the concepts being presented.

"Well, when you throw a rock, there is still gravity pulling down on it. That is why things drop when you let go of them." Klien said simply, adding another force to the diagram. "As for us, we can move ourselves due to more complex things- like muscles, things like that." He nodded as if to himself, hoping that she got it.

"Okay, muscles, got it..." Angena said, nodding slowly as she tried to take it all in. She was clearly concentrating with all her might, but already she found herself faced with foreign words and concepts, though Klien did his hardest to bring it down to her level. She suddenly became terrified he'd find out just how stupid she really was... But she had to ask questions. She was going to have to solve a problem with this stuff, so she had to swallow her pride and openly speak of her greatest weakness. "Gravity?" She asked in a small voice. "Is that... why things fall? I mean, I was never taught about it, I just knew shit naturally falls down... I never really bothered to ask why..."

"Yeah, gravity is why stuff falls. We'll get to how that works later." He said rather kindly, just waiting for her to understand- so she wouldn't get angry, or just think that she would not be able to understand- neither would get them anywhere.

"Okay... I think I get it, then..." Angena said after a moment, nodding. She guessed it made sense, though she didn't know anything about gravity, it was clear something made things fall. In this case, it was this invisible force... If it wasn't for it, stuff would just keep going and going until it hit something. She had more questions, but believed she had the basic concept for this "Law." Stuff wouldn't move, or stop moving, unless something did something to it. She felt like she was probably using the simplest terms possible to describe that process, but hell, she thought it worked.

"Wonderful." Klien smiled happily. "One law down, two to go. This next one is a little more complicated."
He drew a diagram of something being pushed, this time, before taking the pen and putting it onto the table.
"When you push something, than the thing is pushed in the same direction-" He used one finger to slowly push the pen a few inches "-And the harder you push it, the faster it goes." He slid it a little faster, before stopping it.
He wrote a formula on the board- 'Force = Mass multiplied by Accelleration.'
He then wrote- Force: How hard something is pushing on the object.
Mass: How much the object weighs
Accelleration: How fast it is speeding up, or slowing down.

"So, for example, to throw something takes more force, because you are trying to accellerate it faster, than just tossing it."

Amaya kept her calm as the jakkai yelled those heated words at her, she would honor the code and her master but there was no time to mourn them or become angry over petty insults like this. She had too much at stake for this and she moved trough the shadows and then suddenly she was in the Jakkai's shadow and thrust a dagger right at his throat aiming for the soft tissue there and it would cause him to hemorrhage from the intense injuries sustained from it, if not dying instantly as it would pierce deeper into his body while not saying a word or uttering a sound. she hoped the jakkai hadn't noticed her or anything and that her attack would connect.

The werewolf howled in pain, as he then said "You are dead!"

He began to run for Lizard Bee, leaving the Jakkai.

But... the Jakkai spat blood on the ground. He crouched as then saw his blood come out. But... every Hunter has a power unlocked... And this creature was not void of one.

Suddenly... He lit up in flames. All of his clothes burned to a blue flame, as the fire covered the Jakkai head to toe.

"Axel-or-Rate-In?"

Angena stared at Klien like a deer caught in the headlights of a motor vehicle. She didn't understand most of what he said, especially when he started writing all those things on the board. She still couldn't read very well at all, and those words were very challenging and confusing. The formula he had written down might as well have been in ancient Greek script, because she couldn't make heads or tails of it. She immediately felt like an idiot, blood rushing to her face in embarrassment as she covered her face with a hand. She rubbed her forehead, trying to do her best to think on it... She started to feel a pounding headache come on.

She got the first part, at least, she thought she did... You pushed stuff one way, it went that way. That was common sense. If you pushed it harder, the thing went faster. But then he started talking about these really hard words... What exactly was "Force?" Four-something? And Axel-Or-Rate-In was a complete mystery to her. The definitions written on the blackboard were of no use to her, though she stared at them dumbly for moments that seemed to stretch on for hours. "...I..." She bit her lip, looking down with an ashamed glance. "...I can't read that... I don't know what you're talking about..." She admitted, pointing to the board.

Amaya sensed something was wrong and lept back pulling the dagger with her causing more damage before he burst into flames thanks to her honed senses and she said under her breath.

"Dammit... what is he..."

She took up three poisoned needles and threw them at him and teleported trough a nearby shadow that was cast from the light of his fire and a piece of rubble that was standing in the ground into hiding again amongst other shadows.

"Hmm. Alright" Klien seemed a bit miffed, but seemed to not mind too much, he just had to get the message across, eventually. "I know you can do it, Angena. Just bear with me, alright?" He gave her a small, hopeful smile before continuing on. "Force is like. . . hmm, when you push on something, really. The actual pushing. Mass, is just how heavy something is. Accelleration- that is how fast you are speeding something up- so, hmmm. A bit harder to explain, this one." He pondered it for a few more moments. "Just. . . err. . . tell me if you aren't getting something, and I'll try to explain it better." I'm not sure how I can explain it better, but I can dang well try. She isn't stupid, just uneducated. He seemed a bit sheepish, nervous now.

"Okay, so..." Angena frowned, noticing Klien seemed a bit miffed for a moment. He quickly returned to a smile, and tried to give her confidence, but she wasn't so sure she was smart enough for this. After all, these concepts were quite a bit for someone who had no educational background whatsoever. The big, hard-to-pronounce words weren't helping the situation any. She tried to grasp the concepts... Force. When you pushed something, that was force. Force wasn't a very big word, nor too hard a concept. She pushed something, the Force moved it. But what about when she pulled something? Was that Force too, or something else entirely?

And mass... it almost sounded like "my ass." She didn't really know what to think of it... If it was how much something weighed, why didn't they call it weight, like everyone else? It seemed like they were inventing new science-y words for no other reason than to confuse people. Axeloration was another thing entirely. Accalirition? Axeleratin? It was certainly a mouthful, and she didn't exactly know what Klien meant by "how fast you are speeding something up." If something went faster, was that because of this strange, hard-to-say thing? Was it another type of energy, or whatever, all on its own?

"Force... is if I push something. But what if I pull it, instead? Is that... something else? Or is that not important?" She asked, still seeming very embarrassed. "And... The last one... the big word... Well... I don't really get it at all. Is that like Force? If Force moves something, does Axciloration make it go faster from that, or...?" She twisted her mouth into a frown.
