The lizard bee sat down, unsure what to exactly say... But then a tiny thought hit him and he said it. "Jacks won't win. It's just not possible." He then got up, and started to doodle HEAVILY on the ground with a stick, it was crude... but he had something going... "Now you said the tools advance... That means... they would do what you said, craft to become more sharper, stronger, and whatnot. They then created themselves again or replicated...?" He then paused a little, doodled a bit more, then continued. "Now... I think the tools know what is going on, and therefore have already prepared for this entire thing. Machine molds new copies and parts, nature makes seeds and throws them into the wind, time splits into new realities and soul combines to make a new thing!... Sorry if I sound... crazy... I feel... never mind... wait..." The lizard then doodled more. By now it was looking like a giant complex puzzle of random drawings and random markings not making any sense what so ever, and then he stopped and said one thing. "I think I got it... The end of the world is here... because a new one is being made... Two identical ones...? One where the tools started out, and where they are now... I... think..." The lizard then held his head and whined HARD. He was going with this information somewhere... but it was clear he was having a hard time telling the 'queen' what he was trying to say. "I'm... sorry... I am trying my best... I KNOW I have a simple answer to all this... but I can't figure it out... or I have... and I put it in a code...?" |

It was apparent that Angena had been right to fear... four lights marking hostile foes had sped towards the ship, before the group had made their escape onto... a giant thing that flew for no apparent reason. Seriously, what the hell was this giant thing? Angena had never seen anything like it, and she couldn't figure out how it was in the air. Maybe it was some crazy machine-techno-whazzit... Klien called it a Zed-Pelican. But all that Angena could think of when she heard that word was a seabird that had become an irradiated ghoul. Regardless, the vehicle served its purpose... before Angena could even open her mouth to protest or question further, she was led away, and soon they were in (relative) safety aboard the flying vessel. Tied up crew members stared at them with wide, fearful eyes, thus answered one of Angena's many questions - Fenrik and Samuel had not come by this vehicle by honest means. There was also another person there, a woman... Angena didn't recognize her, but Fenrik and Samuel seemed to know her. The vessel had very ornate and elegant interior design, also suggesting it was no commoner's craft. Angena wondered if that would come to bite them in the ass later. Regardless, staying behind probably would've been more dangerous, at least if the reaction of the woman they had come with was any indication. She immediately rang out to Angena as either suspicious, or... just plain confusing. She had a mask just like Jacks, and she could clearly control time... Where a sixty-year-old elderly woman had stood before, a lovely young twenty-year-old was. She had also slowed down time to help them escape. She claimed to be a past Goddess of Time... but was that even possible? Angena thought the Gods couldn't do anything without their Tools, and how could there be two masks of time? The Goddess of Magic had said her power was too weak to stop Jacks, and that it was up to Angena. That was because she didn't have a Tool... right? A dozen questions swirled inside Angena's mind, and she found herself getting a bit agitated. Why, she should just shake the answers out of the woman, or... or... ...Actually, for some reason, Angena felt loathe to do that. She blinked at this realization, looking down at herself. Violence normally came very rapidly and naturally to her... so why hesitate now, and actually think over her impulses before acting upon them? What had changed? Perhaps it had something to do with her fantasy of being a polite, pretty model being fufilled... Or perhaps it was a side-effect of being with the very logical, always-planning-ahead Klien. But something had definitely changed, regardless of the cause. The woman could probably trounce Angena easily anyways... she clearly had the power. Wait... why was she even thinking about it? Oi, her head hurt with thought. She settled for one single question, which had been bugging her... "So... what exactly does Jacks even want to do?" The lies of the Time God had confused her, and she was still unsure of exactly what the hell he even wanted. If he couldn't use other Tools, why did he want them? To be the only big badass God around? But then, what was with this lady, who clearly had God-ish powers too? Angena would have liked some answers, but... Kyara's teachings suddenly rang through her mind. They had been short, but profound... "...If you wouldn't mind telling us, please. ...Thanks... For, y'know, saving our asses..." |

Well, this is akward. And no prize, I see. Dammit. Klien had only reluctantly gone with the rest of them, uneasy about the whole thing. Then again, he didn't want to abandon Angena. He listened to the story, and observed everything around- what she said rang true, or at least, it rang true with how accostomed he was to weirdness, after the whole 'key' business- he didn't complain, at least. He just didn't know what to say. (( If everyone else has posted, you can NPC me dendyn )) |

Amaya gulped as she moved on to the airship, they always made her so nervous since she preferred to have her feet on the ground where she couldn't fall to her death. Her skills wouldn't be able to save her from becoming a red splat on the ground after all. She chuckled nervously at the irony at that thought. She had survived worse encounters... she thinks so falling from the airship would be a bad way to go, she looked at the people ahead of them and she was as confused as the rest, it couldn't be many of the tools in use and a god that still has a power without the tool, was that really possible? She also had the nagging thought of her own mission being so complicated that she was just shooting blind right now and hoping she was doing the right thing. If she wasn't it was going to bite her in the ass. "What is really going on here?" |

"Ah! The oldest question of Time!" She said as looked smiling at them. "Well, I do think that it is about time to reveal what every god has to face eventually, specially me and the others." She said as she took a seat and smiled. Mia looked really floaty compared to the others. She never seemed to stop... But that is the trait of Time. The eagerness to just... walk and see. Never miss a thing. "The Magic goddess, if I'm reading the past correctly, already explained that Jacks has turned against the gods and the Natural Order. And you already have pretty much all of the Tools in hands. Yes... I see the ending, blurry though. Anyways, the Magic Goddess didn't tell a very important, yet secretive detail. The reason is obvious...!" She said as she clapped her hands and a Dome of darkness surrounded all of the ship. The outside looked stormy... but there was no clouds that either of them had seen. Then suddenly... Images began to appear in front of them in the front window, as if it were a TV. In the image, 5 being had tools in their hands... All of the Tools in their hands, as they were just sitting in a throne. They looked old... Ancient even, as they remained motionless. That was... Until a very loud THUD came from behind them. A door materialized... And it opened. 5 Lads walked inside of the room... With exactly the same tools. And the image froze. "THIS is the most IMPORTANT scene of all time. The original 5 gods were definetly the creators of the Worlds and they had thrown their Tools to the World. But, thanks to the Original Searchers, they found it and resumed their role as leaders..." She said as she ran to the front. "But! But but but! Curious word, but, huh? I mean, BACK TO TOPIC!" She said as she giggled a bit then just serened herself. "The Tools are powerful, ancient! They were Tools Of creation! But the Gods did not wish to create further more! Oh, the agony that the Tools felt was unbearable, inhuman! So, they did the unthinkable! They betrayed their owners and Materialized in front of their New owners! To be gods! To create the Cycle Anew! To have more things!" She said as she jumped up and down. She was rather excited, even fanboyish about it. "Now we go to Jack's goal! Which would be.....???" Mia said as she looked at the group. "C'mon! The answer is inmortality! Live forever! Be forever there, looking and changing all that he see's fit!" She said as looked at the group. "Or that would be his ultimate goal. See, the Gods can't outlive their bodies. Sure, when your Tool Activates you grow older WAY slower than normal, but you still do. Time gods though is a different matter. We can regulate our own time as if we were a watch. But... Time Lords or Gods as names come just choose death after a while of them existing. But Jacks, ohhh noooo, he doesn't want to die. He never wished to die!" She said as she smiled. "But... his body is failing. The mask is the only thing keeping him alive! But he hated that. Every second of it. He can't do this trick forever and he knows it. So, with the friend of a fellow... They created the perfect plan." "The Tools can be broken, but they can endure forever... So if you were to create a body made with the metal of the Tools and put your Soul into the that body..." "... He would live... forever." "That is what Fenrik is.... A prototype... an Alpha prototype of putting a God into the Body of a Golem." --------------------------------------------- "Not really, many Tools can exist in the same plane of Existence, but only is the True Tool that the Gods wield. I just have this because of my years of service." She merely replied as she yawned. "What I meant is that the new God of Time must be found, and he must be put into Jacks Place. Because if he were to die before you find a suitable heir.... Time would crumble. And we would all perish." "But Time essence... so... few are found this days... So very few..." |

A lot of the larger words escaped the fire demoness, who listened intently. All the same, however, she could piece together what Jacks was trying to do... "Im-more-tall-it-ey" must have meant the ability to live forever, at least, that's what she thought the ex-Time Goddess was getting at. The entire time, Angena had been operating under the belief that the Gods had all hidden their tools of their own will. Now, it was clear... They were, while powerful, still very mortal, and Angena and her allies were essentially usurping their thrones. The image showed before them made that clear enough... No wonder the Magic Goddess had not told them everything. Angena was going to basically kick her off her throne. And Fenrik... was a pro-two-type? A Pro Type-Two? A Pro at what? Think, think... Angena remembered Klien trying to teach her about "context clues..." After a few minutes, she realized he was just a test project for what Jacks wanted to do. That must be what the woman meant... She felt a surge of pride at having figured out the super-hard word. "So, you're telling me..." She jerked a claw towards Fenrik. "...This hunk of metal is made from some Tools of long past, and just happens to still be kickin'? And if Jacks' body is failing without his Tool... how are you still around?" Angena peered at the woman, who seemed to still have enough control over Time to preserve youth. She didn't seem to be very aged physically, at least, with a little twist of that mask. "And, come to think of it... If Time Gods age slower, and Jacks is getting old for them, how the heck was that Magic Goddess still around?" Angena put a claw on her forehead. It ached and pounded as she tried to understand all this complicated bullshit. She had a lot of questions... and hoped to get all the damn answers for once. Still... she had to be patient. She probably wouldn't get anywhere by shouting and demanding... which was still a startling thought process for her to have. Already, though, she had gotten a few questions cleared up. What Jacks was trying to do, at least, and why he wanted the Tools. That was pretty important... Also, the bit about the second group of Searchers sent to gather up the Tools to enact his crazy-ass plan to live forever. Feh! He should have just come to her homeland and stood in some radiation for a few months. He'd be ghoul-ified and pretty much immortal. He wouldn't have had to go through all this bullshit, at least. It would also have spared him of her coming to break his face in - which she still fully planned on doing. |

"I'm assuming that you and that magic goddess are much younger than Jacks, I think." Klien mulled it over in his mind, before taking another long look at Fenrik the Golem. "So this means, to save the woooorld, we have to kill Jacks. If we take his tool, or take it off of him, that'll kill him right quick, I think. Maybe. I don't know all the answers, but it seems to be a safe bet. That said, the more tools we can gather, to keep them out of Jacks' hands, and out of the hands of his searchers, the better." He seemed a bit world-weary, but stood next to Angena, glad that he had her at least. |

"Well this makes everything much clearer about Jacks..." Amaya said to herself relieved of the information that she had received from this incredibly weird event. Now she would just try to get more sense of this situation she had been pulled in since it was getting really out of her comfort zone. She also wondered if she would have to reveal her true nature anytime soon, that would be bad but it might be necessary if things go that way. She remained silent and thoughtful as she listened on to the conversation |

"Pretty much!" She said as she began to dance on the deck. She continued dancing a minute or two as she then stopped with a pose. "Ok... Time has passed... the Night has fallen." She said as she pointed at the front and she said "Since I know nothing will happen in the next couple of days... Let's just fast forward to where we need to go!" She said as she just snapped her fingers. And they began to move faster and faster... AND FASTER! "GERONIMO!" She screamed as she took the wheel and began to stir. Although it was not really unnecessary. For when you are cruising in time, you don't need a stirring wheel. And they arrived to the coast of Portugal... Again. "Now..." Fenrik said as he looked at Klien. "We know that the last tool is on the bottom of the ocean. We can't really it on our own... But consider this the trial to your Tool. Find a way to create something that will allow you to reach rock bottom. Remember that you have the VIP status to help you out." He said as he looked at Klien. Mia took out a mana crystal and it changed from the nature blue to the red that Angena and Amaya had on their hands. "Just a little something to work or bargain with. You know." She said as she threw it to Klien. They all went to the ground... and the quest had started once again. Mana could help Klien with getting materials and working, but he would need to instruct her how. The others were free until further notice. ---------------------------------------------- "That a plan that we have deviced... But for that he must get the tool. And pray to... well, us for the tool to accept him. Of course, another Time God is there right now, but she is there just to watch." The goddess said as she looked at Lizard bee as then yawned. "I grow weary of this chat. Is there anything you want from me?" |

The lizard bee just looked at the 'queen', to be honest... he was unsure what to exactly ask of her... So he just said a random thing that popped up on the top of his head. "Can you make sure no one dies due to stupid stuff...? I don't know...", the lizard held his head a little, then looked at Lag and said, "Well I have no idea what to do... So what shall we do to save the day?" |

"Alright. So I have to make a submarine. Doable." Klien muttered to himself, catching the crystal. "I'll need a lot of metal, along with some quartz. After that, I can just make it into what I need with the nanomachines, I think. The people here wouldn't be able to forge it to the strength I need." He seemed to be thinking out loud, as he looked around- maybe a path, somewhere to get metal? "Or we could take apart the zepplin, and I'd have all I need. Does that work?" He looked over at the time goddess. But before she could answer, he walked over to Angena, and gave her a hug. For no reason at all, really. |

"You did get a way to pay the metal you seek off" Mia said as she looked at Klien. "You can sell those crystal and buy lesser quality ones for me to Time Out." She said as she looked at the crystal Klien had on his hands. Mana stepped in as she said "I'll go and get the ore and plate as pure as I can. Blacksmiths here are not not exactly... the caliber we need" She said as walked into town. "Me and Samuel will provide protection to you while you are repairing. Don't stop, even if we are fighting" He said as he walked away. Samuel nodded and left too. Then Amaya noticed... a shadow waving at her and pointing at town too. It looked eager. And she then recognized it as a Guild Messenger. She was about to get new Orders. |

Blood rushed to Angena's cheeks as Klien's arms wrapped around her. She returned the favor, squeezing him gently. He seemed to quite like how she was all cleaned up... She would have to take better care of her hygiene in the future, for that reason. Normally, she was a bit cautious about showing such emotional attachment in such a public place in broad daylight. But, by this point, she didn't really care. Besides... Klien was always likely to be a special exception. Her special eccentric egghead. It was hard to believe that, a few weeks prior, she had actually hated him... simply because she associated who he was with her own biased view of scientists in general. But after she had gotten to know him well... She couldn't really imagine herself leaving him. She could talk to him like she had to no one else before... Without fear of judgement, or snide remarks. It seemed like such a simple thing, to just have someone to listen, to care. But she hadn't had anyone like that before. She gave Klien a peck on the cheek, because who the hell cared who saw her giving affection? She was starting to realize there was no point in acting super-tough-and-badass all the time. It may have worked in her old world, but it had still been miserable. And here, it had only really worked against her. To be emotionally open was to be emotionally vulnerable, but closing yourself up made you vulnerable to a whole new set of things. Maybe it was time to just live her life, and not worry so much about appearances. ...Except what Klien might like to see in her. She'd change herself for him, of course. But, at the same time, he accepted who she was already. She wasn't any less "badass" than before, either... She could still kick ass, and she knew it. So what if others thought she couldn't, because she occasionally gave her man a hug and a peck? She'd still be able to kick the shit out of anyone who crossed her... or him. Or any of their friends. Yes... friends. She actually had quite a few. Amaya, Samuel... Maybe even Fenrik. Life had certainly changed for Angena... And the fashion show had only amplified all the changes that she herself had undergone. "So... Is there... anything I can do to help?" Angena asked Klien. He wanted metal, for whatever he was making... Maybe some kind of underwater boat? Did they have those? He wanted "quarts..." of... milk? Even though she was getting a little better at reading, a good deal of Klien's talk still sailed right over her head. She did know that the giant balloon thing they had traveled in was called a "zeppelin," but only thanks to Klien, who taught her context clues. She hoped she could be of at least some use to him... He'd really saved her ass when they were trapped in the casino, for her own trial. |

It was Klien's turn to blush, as she kissed him on the cheek- a warm smile coming to him. He thought of her often these days, more than he thought of new things to build- and that was saying something, for him. She was the most important thing in his life, now. He was bound to her, as she was bound to him. A not bad situation, for the both of them, making each other happy these days. With the distraction of the tools, of course. "So... Is there... anything I can do to help?" She had asked rather shyly, and he seemed lost in thought for a moment. "Well, there isn't really anything for me to do either, right now. I've got to wait for them to bring back the materials. But after that, we'll both have a lot to do." He gave her a peck on the cheek, now, in return. |

(Fiskpinne) "Your orders are to fold back and join the ranks of the Time God as fast as possible. Failure to do this would be considered treason and inmediate exile and termination would be executed." She said in an almost mechanical voice. She had white skin, white hair... and looked rather young. Amaya knew her as the Messenger, a girl capable of projecting herself into many places as she see fit. Her emotions were closed down the day she discovered her ability to be able to communicate with HQ. She and many other girls work as the intel grid of the Guild. "Do you accept?" ------------------------------------- (Arc, lifon, Me) Mana quickly came back with a cart of chunkful of ore. She let on the ground as she then said "Be right back! Need to go back and get more!" She said as she hurried off. It was not enough metal or quartz to finish, but it was definetly enough to begin working... With what would he start? Strengthening the metal, or beginning to plan? While Klien figured out the best way to start, Mia walked to Angena as she then sat down. "So... How do you think of having children with an angel and having a happy family?" She asked in a completely serious tone. She made it sound like fact than merely speculation, although that would expected, she being a Goddess of time. ------------------------ (Sysh) "No, I can't stop Death. You can't defy any element... not Time... nor nature. You would do well on remembering that, Beast" She said as she looked rather... angry. "If you wish for this to stop, you must show the will and the motivation, true motivation, to use the tool. The Tool will never react to a fool waver on such a weak note." She said as she roots covered her, and took her away. Lag walked to Lizard bee as he patted him on the back. "Follow me..." He said as he walked to an opening. In that opening, he saw the world in front of his eyes. The entire world... covered in clouds, and green and blue... white, yellow too. "Tell me... when you see and think of this world, what is the most precious element of it? Why do you think it is worth saving?" Edited by Dendyn, Aug 10 2012, 04:20 AM.

Klien started to work on the forge, and a small blast furnace- to make the ore into the proper quality steel alloy, and not only that, but to forge it into plates- raw materials to finished product was a rather intensive thing, after all. That said, he already had a rough design in his head, with two spherical pressure vessels along with a lot of equipment and things on the outside- one pressure vessel for crew and food, the other for life support, engines, and things. The ballast tanks were outside of the pressure vessels, along with the thrusters, propeller, three mechanical arms of great complexity (As well as dexterity), floodlights, sonar, and a large set of tank treads. Not to mention, eight small torpedo-shaped drones (With some explosives, but also a camera and thrusters, to be used as scout drones) and one rack of underwater rockets- that laid flat against the upper rear of the sub. The rockets weren't big, but they were numerous. A rather strange design, but one that would be able to handle just about any contingency, after all. That said, he did listen in as Angena and Mia- his curiosity piqued. Mostly because he was working only a couple meters away, after all. |

The lizard bee without even hesitating said, "All of it." The lizard bee sat down and said some more, "And I don't mean all of it like an idiot who can't decide. All the colors, things, lands, waters, air, it all has to exist. The things that are bad and good. The things that are hard and soft. I mean... It wouldn't be the world we see right now if you took out say... all the birds or nature. Or if you only left one 'important' part of it. It's simple and complex as that." He stretched a little, unsure how the 'queen' would react to what he said... To be honest he was starting to feel a bit cocky. Why couldn't he have everyone live due to this chaotic time? Yes people do need to die, that is unavoidable, but not today is what he wanted. During all this chaos, all this change, no one to die today. Wasn't that a simple wish that could be done? Wasn't that a possible thing that could be done?! The lizard then said out of nowhere a bit angry, "And why not all of it?! Everything no matter how small and tiny and worthless plays a role in this complex life! Everything is a little bit of a puzzle to make a always changing picture, where some pieces fit and some don't! I don't want to sound rude but TO HELL WITH THE TOOLS IF THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO DO JACK SHIT, I'm pissed off at them more along the lines! If they are this powerful entity, they SHOULD of seen this coming a mile away, someone would get evil thoughts, and BAM! This situation we are in happens!" The lizard then got up, looked at Lag, and said, "Come, we need to stop this stupid shit from happening. This stupid power control for god knows what reason, and I think I know how to solve it." |

The assorted metals and other materials in the cart that Mana brought out were a mystery to Angena. It was amazing to think that all of that scrap metal might turn into something that could take them underwater. It was something she had not really thought of, before... Every little piece of technology from her home world, from the mightiest plasma cannon to the humblest vending machine, had once been nothing but a pile of unimpressive materials. All the parts needed was an intelligent creator to mold them into the desired, useful form. She supposed that that was one of the bases of machinery, the realm of engineers and scientists. While she had found their impressive crafting ability annoying before, she was starting to appreciate it. Klien had made their lives so much easier with his inventions, which held both combat and utility uses. She had no doubts he would stomp this technological challenge. As Angena watched him begin working, the Time Goddess Mia took a seat beside Angena, and dropped a bombshell of a question. Angena's first impulse was hot anger, as blood started to rush to her face. Her claws clenched into fists of their own accord, as she grit her teeth. Who was this woman, asking a question like that out of the blue? She liked Klien, yeah, liked him a lot maybe. But what was this "marriage" business? Who went and did that to themselves, forever binding their own being to another person? And going through all that ceremonious crap that was seen as just plain stupid by her tribe in the Wastes. That nonsense was for angels and the people of the Old World, all of which had long since passed away. I mean, who wanted to show up, in some cramped... but nice place, with a stupid beautiful flowing white dress made of the loveliest fabrics? And to see the well-dressed and handsome Klien, waiting for her, ready to give his life for her happiness... Then, a life without ever being alone, always feeling complete and happy with her true "other half..." But okay, wait, kids? Why would she want a bunch of annoying pipsqueaks to take care of? Children just got in the way in a life, a simple drain on both time and other resources. Why would she want to wake up in the middle of a night to the sound of a baby's screeching cries? Then, she would have to go to see the baby... pick it up, hold it... tell it everything was going to be alright, that its mother was there for it... to able to give little ones the childhood Angena had never had, but always dreamed of. But it would be such a pain! All that running about and breaking her back for the little pipsqueaks... who would love her and grow up and eventually make something of themselves in the world... maybe end up looking a bit like their parents, the greatest reminder of the love their parents share... That... that was... ...By the time she had opened her mouth to give an angry retort, the anger had left her face and posture, replaced with a look of bewilderment. Was she... really thinking about this, like this? "I..." She put a claw to her forehead, trying to gather herself and her thoughts. "I... don't know. Maybe... it'd be... I don't know..." She felt incredibly embarrassed to be saying this, her face burning as blood rushed to it. "...Nice... Maybe... but... I'd probably screw it up... I don't know if I could be a good mother anyways..." What if she ended up making her children miserable, just as Angena's own mother had done to her? Whereas anger had filled her heart before, she suddenly felt an uncharacteristic doubt in her own abilities... |

"May I first hear the reason why I should join the time god, what have the council found for information that makes him the prime balance we are after?" Amaya said with a frown, she hoped she would be able to get some information since she couldn't and wouldn't go into these situations blind, she wasn't stupid and the council damn well knew that. |

(Fisk) "The elements and introduction of new gods would cause disbalance. Ally with the Time God is the best solution on maintaining the current balance of the world" The Girl replied as she looked at the assassin with cold eyes as she looked at him. "New gods would mean that the order we pursue must be forsaken for everchanging chaos." "Amaya, Assassin of the second Circle, what is your answer?" She said as she looked at her. Something ticked on Amayas head with balance and order. This was weird though... If what Mia had said before was true, the changes of gods had happened long ago before the creation of their guild. If to maintain order they had to change... why was the guild so reluctant on doing so now? ------------------------------------ (Enemy) The submarine was about half way finished... and not even dusk had fallen. But Mana came empty handed. "Klien, there's no more metal in this place. Supposedly, a cargo will arrive tomorrow." She said as she looked at the half submarine. "It's coming rather nicely, huh? What did you base off that sub of yours?" ------------------------------------ (Lifon) Mia looked at Angena as she smiled and said "Jacks sure was stupid on bringing you and Klien together. Magic and Emotions... You are close to the answer, little one" She said as she stood up and walked to Mana. "So that means the Time shield must go down, huh? Ok then... Let's wait till morning" ------------------------------------ (Sysh) "Solve... it?" He said as he looked rather quizzical. "Mastering and gaining the trust of the tool is by understanding the true Nature of the Element. And you have barely touched or lived to actually see it." He said as he looked at him... smiling "But it didn't stop me. What is your idea?" |

"Well... It's simple... and complicated at the same time. In... how knows much time we have left, we need to simply convince Jacks not to do this. Somehow, like bribe, trick, flatter, something... The lizard sat down and started to think more. "Now then. We know Jacks wants heavy power and stuff right...? But why does he exactly want the Soul and Time tools...? Well he has those already... But what I'm trying to say is there is some underline reason why he is doing this. Not 'because he wants power'... but why he wants it... and if we can solve that... I think we could end this whole thing with no one dying..." The lizard then laid down and started to doodle on the ground and talk to himself a little. "Maybe he lost someone...? Impress someone...? Revenge? Hate?... And even if it's a simple explanation... Ugh..." |

"The answer...?" Angena said quietly, as Mia walked away from her. What did she mean by that? The answer to... what? The Time Goddess obviously knew something she didn't, but... Angena got the feeling she was supposed to find this out on her own. Mia couldn't reveal the answer to her, nor could anyone else, she just had to figure it out alone. Doubtless it had something to do with the Tool, judging by the cryptic words Mia had spoken. Magic... and emotion. The two did seem to be forever intertwined. When Angena got angry, one of the first things she did was call magic to her aid for revenge. Well... at least, she did once. Now, however, she felt... more diverse, with regards to emotion. Before, she had largely been confined to simple, baser emotions. Rage, envy, embarrassment, sadistic amusement... even fear, sometimes. Now, she felt like the recent change that had worked its way into her heart had broadened the spectrum, you might say, of what she could feel. Pure happiness, caring for others, the feeling that came with a dynamic team that worked together and complemented each others' weaknesses. These emotions were brand new to her, though the strangest and most wondrous by far was her feelings for Klien. Just thinking about him made her heart start jumping in her chest, and a rush of energy burst through her limbs. She felt nervous around him, and constantly worried about how she looked when he could see. Everyone else, she could care less if she looked like a mess in front of. But not Klien... What... was this feeling? Angena didn't have a name for it. She took out the Tool, her stone of magic, and began turning it over in her hands as she thought. "Let's rest, then..." she said, looking up. Klien had already gotten a lot of work done, brilliant man that he was... |

"Well, Mana, I based it off of the laws of physics. Or, off of nothing but good principals. For example, the spherical pressure hulls- a sphere is the best shape to resist pressure, and we need that for how deep Atlantis seems to be. So I don't have to reinforce it with magic, thankfully. That sort of thing." So she isn't adverse to getting hitched. . . I. . . I don't know what to think. All I can think of now. . . is being with her. For the rest of my days. . . screw it, I'm going to make a ring. Using some of the trace metals that had come with the shipment- gold, silver, a found emerald (He got lucky on that one!) he started to make a ring. It was a simple gold band, with a emerald, along with two triangles of silver flanking the emerald. It wasn't quite normal for an engagement ring, but it looked very nice, all the same. |

(Fisk) The girl looked at Amaya... as then she transformed into The Guild Master. She could do that, impersonate people she willed, so she could just walk and never to be seen. But this time was different, the girl was acting like a medium for the Guild Master. "Amaya, my dear Amaya..." He said as he smiled upon her. He looked tired, but otherwise normal... "What is it you needed to ask me? Is it about your new mission?" He sounded.... sweeter than usual. But... Amaya could see in his eye... Fear. ... But fear to what? -------------------------------------------- (Lifon, me and Arc) The Time shield was down, and the slowed time accelerated, back to the night. Mia then walked to Klien as he then she said "Judging by the progress that you are going, you'll be done tomorrow. So... tell me, what are you going to do with Angena? She doesn't seem to be... certain. I would recommend going slow, and if a Time God says that... She means it." She said as she then just relaxed and said "We'll resume on the morn. Tomorrow is a bright day! Oh... and be careful of the spider. One bite and your dead. Good night!" Fenrik was away from the group and... just thought. Everything made sense now. Why he could feel the Searchers, the reason why he had no memories... All now made sense. Even... The inner sadness he had everytime he saw a new searcher... how they could change their destiny, and he was shackled to this ... body. This body that was not even complete. ---------------------------- "... That is a very good question. A rather good question... An interestling good question. Question of Questions..." He said as he looked at Lizard bee. "It is true that he wants inmortality... but why? What could he accomplish with that...?" He said as night began to fall. "We might as well camp here. We'll need to travel a long way to actually reach all of the Searchers... and I think that the Hunters, or the Assassins of the Balance have been put into motion. Either of those 2 are going to be a painful group to encounter, so we must reunite again" |

The lizard bee curled up a bit. "Yeah I guess that would be a good idea to rest...", the lizard said as he curled up... It was clear he had a headache from all the thinking... Near him were COUNTLESS drawings and doodles of information, even though they were crude, they did tell a bit of information. One was that Jacks had lost someone, so he was trying to get them back, another showed Jacks having something he wanted, but someone evil had it behind it's knife, so he needed to do evil to save someone... There were countless theories and ideas... But it was clear, there was little to no information on Jack's motives, so figuring this out was impossible... The lizard sighed, unsure how to solve this, and it sucked because from how fast things were moving, he would need to figure it out quickly as an arrow about to hit a target. |

As the day closed, Angena found herself settling into an uneasy sleep. A great deal was present to weigh on her mind - their quest for their next Tool, the threat of Jacks, and the assassins sent to eliminate the searchers. What she struggled with most of all, however, was the conflicting sides of her brain that battled for dominance, as the metamorphosis she had started to undergo continued, and started to reach its peak. Angena's entire life had been centered around trying to be tough, and trusting no one. She never let anyone get close to her, and kept herself locked inside, with the belief that it was much better to be feared than to be loved or even simply liked. However, this way of thinking had now been shattered, as she grew to knew her comrades... particularly Klien. At the same time, these new feelings she was experiencing were completely foreign to her. She felt like she had lost some core of her being; the foundation upon which had previously lived had crumbled beneath her feet. She no longer really knew what qualities to embrace and which to shun anymore... which left her in a sea of confusion and doubt. Being with Klien made her happy... the very idea of marrying him should have made her gag. It would have, at the start of their joueny. But now, it started to sound better and better... which was bizarre and startling to someone who had prided themselves on being completely self-sufficient. She had striven for full independence, and cared for no one but herself for years. But now... She felt scared. But not for herself. What if something happened to Klien during his trial, and he got injured, or worse... slain? What would she do, then? The very thought of something happening to him brought her great grief and pain. It was a startling truth... she was no longer sure she could continue on her own, alone. Her dreams were filled with anxiety, her body tossing and turning as she dreamed of a life with Klien, as a mother... and the normal life she had been living before - that of a rough, thick-skinned violent mercenary. The two versions of herself quarreled and fought, one wearing a very refined and regal dress... and the other wearing clothes fit for a Wasteland raider. Angena found her own self caught in-between the two, unable to do anything but watch as the two warring sides of her very being engaged in sharp-worded combat. On the one hand was the promise of a safe, clean life of love and joy... on the other, a sense of independence and the thrill of risk. She found herself sitting, cradling her head in her hands as the voices of her two personalities shouted insults and arguments at each other. When she woke from this nightmare, she found the sun had not yet risen. Still, she had no wish to go back to sleep. So, she was up early, when the stars still littered the sky, as if a bag of diamonds had opened up upon the heavens. She spent some time sitting down by the water, just looking up at the sky, lost in thought. |
