As Light was thrown into the tornado, he found his renewed strength was useless with all that was going on around him. There was nothing he could do with the wind battering him so hard that he could hardly move.

For a moment, it finally looked to him like he had reached his end. He closed his eyes and silently accepted his fate. There was no way they could keep fighting this monstrosity. It truly was the end...

Then something sparked inside of him. His eyes bolted open as a righteous fury began growing back into him. He had completely forgotten one strength he had left. An untapped reserve he had yet to utilize because it was still trapped within him. And with his powers stretched so far to their limit already...

Light looked around to try to find the light that gave him power before, but failing to find it, he settled for the little natural light that existed without it. He bent everything he could see, trying to abuse his power further with no real direct purpose. It didn't take long before the intended effect came forth...

Light split apart. A dark shadow of himself bursting forth from his body. Dark had returned with Light's power diminished. Before Light could even think to ask his opposite for help, the dark one took control, focusing on the creature's shadowy attacks. It grabbed each and every one of them, trying to direct them right back at the massive creature en masse, and out of the way of the key wielders in the tornado. Light attempted to help by flinging the rocks out back to it as well with his earth key, but the with the wind holding them in the tornado, he would need help...

Naum sheilded herself by encasing herself in dark water, heating it up way past boiling . . . and letting it turn to steam near the bottom. So she basically put herself in a -rocket- , one that went sideways in relation to the monster, to try and dodge, as well as protect herself enough to not-die.
She focused the rest of her heat on the six bullets in her revolver, heating them up to quite far past the tempature of a star, before shooting all six at the fiend.
Die.

"LIKE HELL I'M LETTING THAT WORK!" Gwen yelled, adding speed to Naum's escape by putting her in a jetstream before turning to face the monster. Now... to the source of all this. Something i don't think i've tried yet. She thought as four large bolts of lightning shot out in a circle around the creature, and cutting in to attack from the top, bottom, left and the right after the split second it took to reach it.

Moments after the tornado lifted all into the air, Kutask took protection into his own hands. First, he formed wall inside the giant tornado. Second, the creature melded Dark Earth and Armor together, thereby creating a nigh impregnable sphere around each of the eight, and, finally, tapped in the others' minds. While power did not increase, awareness did, thus heightening efficiency. Strengthening defense, Yeria electrified her barrier, and place consuming spikes on all the spheres. Additionally, the little one added those spikes to each piece of debris nearby. She also drilled and destroyed chunks of the floor. Her hopes were answered. Magma--now Lava--poured out from the ground. Lastly, the electric mouse combined her natural-born element with her recently-received one. A high voltage destructive force zoomed towards the foe.

Lag--and his counterpart--utterly ignored defense and let loose full assault. Immaterial wolves formed of unnatural electricity and fire dashed at the monster and the tornado. Ten, no fifty, no... three hundred of these beasts attacked. Also, Light and Dark (the persons) counteracted the large rocks and the waves of darkness. While Light could only redirect several of the house-sized debris blocks, Dark pointed all black attacks to the monsters. Between these four alone, almost a thousand attacks charged the monster.

In the meantime, Naum tried to survive. Bubbling large amounts of water around her defense, she propelled herself away at great speeds. At the same time, Gwen created a jet-stream around Naum, furthering Naum's speed. Then the Kitsune unleashed an entire "clip" of blazing bullets, while the cat-kind blasted the enemy with four lightning strikes.

Heinmir, on the other hand, focused on keeping sight available. Anything he created would simply be sucked into the tornado, so, instead, he decided shrouded all eight protective spheres in pure light. You won't blind us! He thought. The plan unfolded: Heinmir and his allies became their own flashlights. Willing to go further, the Durask formed metal parachute at the back of his protection to slow his progress into the tornado. But, to keep the lights shinning brightly, he focused on these two defenses. A desire for more action touched his heart, for the others strove equally to win this battle and survive. On the other hand, Heinmir wanted to succeed on his part, so he stayed at with his two counters.

Jenoth waited momentarily. Her wind capabilities prevented her from getting sucked in immediately. The Sliver connection brought to realization all the other attacks and defenses. No one bothered with the molten earth below, so Jen did. She added several metal weights to the spherical shield; moreover, torrents of wind shoved her directly down. Barely escaping the tornado's strength, the Dragon dove directly into the glob of molten mess. Kutask's barrier shielded Jenoth, so she worried not. Fire and earth control utilized, lava pillars jumped vertically. Sustaining the heat by Fire elements and counteracting the tornado power by Wind elements, she threw large quantities of the smoldering liquid at the enemy.

Primary of all, none of these attacks worked as exactly hoped. None. First, the blocking-barrier in the tornado broke into pieces. The sheer power of the whirlwind could not be stopped by a simple wall. In basic, the shards of sharp glass joined in the spinning torrent and flung out in all directions. And, sadly, Kutask could not control the pieces, so they could potentially strike any--enemy, self, or friend. On the brighter side, the sphere protection did not fail. None of the Dark waves hit them, thanks to Dark, and the giant debris and large hail bounced off easily. In fact, even the fiery, penetrating weapons dinged the armor; moreover, the chunks of broken barrier scratched not the protection. Unbreakable. While the tornado counter failed miserably, the spheres performed far beyond expectation. Unfortunately, they did not counter act the pull of the whirlwind.
The additions of the voltage to Yeria's barrier actually attracted some of the debris and many of the weapons. Magnetic. The shield held anyways, so, all in all, the electricity helped and hindered none.

After many moments, Ignaz, Yeria, Kutask, Light, and Heinmir entered into the giant whirlwind. Fortunately, Yeria and Ignaz unleashed their attacks before entering in. Interestingly, the hail and fiery blades succumb to the sheer force and joined the spinning. Unfortunately, all of the flaming wolves that Ignaz produced fell to the same and joined into the spinning. Even the electric wolves that tried to counteract the tornado could not overcome the force. Jenoth attempted desperately to attack with the lava; however, her power could not match the beast's. So... her entire onslaught fell prey to sucking power. In a short amount of time, all four key-wielders were shot in random directions. The wind carried Ignaz, and Light, Kutask to the opposite side of the tornado--far from the action. Heinmir launched to the side, gaining a little distance. Though, Yeria flew directly towards the monster.

Then the tornado transformed. Far too many elements melded with the whirlwind. Normally, the solid object wouldn't interfere too much; however, the heat of Ignaz's attack caused the solids to melt. And, the addition of the molten rock made the matter worse. Shortly after the key-users were launched out, the spinning wind went ablaze. Fortunately, the wind current produced by the torrent ceased. Then... the tornado disappeared completely. Not exactly how Lag or Ignaz planned to end the tornado. Though, who cared? It was gone. The assaults of hail, weapons, debris, and consuming waves stopped, though not until after Dark redirected hundreds of those darkness attack

While the tornado turned to nothing, the monster focused on killing Naum. The scythe swiped at Naum; however, thanks to the unconventional propulsion, she avoided the first strike completely. Still the enemy persisted. So, more strikes came at the Kitsune, and the steam could not push Naum fast enough. Thankfully, Gwen sent a torrent of wind in the nick of time. More misses. The monster gained in frustration and anger; nonetheless, the thing could not attack Naum again. The Dark spikes on Naum's barrier dove into bone. A couple dark wave and the bullets accompanied. The spikes and speeding metal ate holes through the beast's structure; furthermore, those waves cut into the creature's back and wings. Afterwards, the monster diverted its attention to the on-coming strikes. With only a swing of its hand, all the attacks Dark stole simply vanished. Then the creature took evasive action against the lightning wolves, Dark lightning, and lighting bolts.

As frustrating as possible, the monster avoided Gwen's attacks first and completely; though, due to wing damage, the orb could not be dodged. This attack--Yeria's--ripped an opening in the beast's hip. From this damage, the left leg detached from the main body. While this damage formed, the hundred or so electric wolves scathed all the remaining bones and both wings. In addition to a missing right arm and sternum, the monster know owned compromised ribs, shoulder blades, and wings; a missing left leg; and a completely charred body. But... the monster yet lived.

The two attacks struck normally; however, Gwen's performed a show different. All four lightning bolts hit each other and joined. This interaction formed a massive, brightening cross in the sky. Instantly Gwen and Yeria suffered from an agonizing headache, and, as seconds passed by, the electric cross faded into blood red.

A deep fury--hatred--tapped on Yeria's heart. The thoughts of her family and friends slipped through her vision. Home. Then the destruction occurred the end. This time, Yeria caught a perfect glimpse. One time before, she received a vision about suffering and death; however, this differed greatly. This one came on personal level. Everything she ever cared about returned to her, but she watched it all burn. The screams of those lives ringed in Yeria's ears. Their blood spilled into her hands, and the smell entered her nostrils. Death. A question came. Not pitiful, not whiny, not selfish. But why? Why did everything have to die? Not a hint of mercy nor a chance for redemption showed. Just death. So why? That monster kept pursuing the destruction. Killing over and over. Why? This had turned far war with purpose. This cold-blooded monster wished to continued meaningless war? Why? What was the purpose? She could demand the answer, but the monster merely pursued evil--war just to have war. As the nostalgic memories disappeared to the back of Yeria's mind, an unforgiving rage pushed through Yeria's veins. He who gives no forgiveness, deserves none! So, her anger pointed to that beast.

A similar circumstance slapped Gwen. Except, her memories related not to destruction. Rather, they flowed over her life--from birth to present. Her time of existence showed much selfishness. Revenge, murder, plain disruption--destruction. Wasn't that what the monster pursued? A thick pain pricked her heart. What had she given to save lives? How much had she sacrificed? The reflection over her life showed a lack. An anger at herself started, but she could change. She had been ever since arriving at this forsaken realm. Then the monster crossed her sight. Time came now. People suffered and died because this monster went on its own path, fulfilling its own wishes. By all chances, the "master" controlling the original fights is this monster. What did the disgusting give away for another's sake? Always selfish. And, now... the ones that desired to create hope--her and the other seven--are placed at risk because of this "master." Sacrifice hope? Sacrifice life? What kind of sacrifice was that? Time came to change, but that monster would not. So, her anger pointed to that beast.

While Gwen and Yeria suffered their epiphanies, no time passed for the others. That electric cross vanished, and then New keys appeared in Gwen's and Yeria's hands. These showed major deviation from the regular keys. Gwen received a simple metal cross, and Yeria a medallion shaped like blood droplet. Immense power developed. The anger empowered each fiber of their immaterial beings. The darkness of Yeria--her main power--expanded naturally. Her element demanded for purpose and took form all around the Pikachu. Similarly, the decaying wind of Gwen--her main power--surged as well. Her element desired sacrifice, so wind flowed around Gwen. Of note, the monster took change after serious injury and gained in power. This change between Gwen and Yeria held similarities to but far far exceeded the monster's. The monster could no longer push these two around by sheer power, for they owned many times more.

Despite the clear expansion of strength, the monster did not cower or retreat. As Gwen remained in the sky, the opponent charged her and swung down with its scythe at full strength and speed. Before, Gwen could not have dodged this attack; however, now, the monster moved slower than a slug. Yeria, standing on the tattered ground below, watched the monster move above. Though... nothing the beast threw out could compare to Yeria's simplest powers. That monster will die once and for all.

(Again, read this post twice bare minimum... I suggest a third.

Also, Fisk and Kuro are the only ones who need to post. Anyone may post as a by-stander, but the other characters have no reason to interfere.)

Yeria felt the rage hit her like a mallet to the face, it left her numb for a while but it flared up again inside of her and it blazed to new heights she didn't even know was possible.
The fiery hatred towards this creature and all of his misdeeds was so strong she couldn't think of much else then to destroy him once and for all.
The darkness that now surrounded her form warped and grew bigger into a large shadowy lighting form that was mostly looking like some sort of cloud with glowing eyes by large taloned claws could be seen moving within the wispy black cloud of destruction., she would destroy this creature mind body and soul if it had any it would be destroyed, it had no place here and it deserved no pity or salvation. it deserved only destruction.
The form she had taken reflected her rage and she utilized the momentum she gained as she moved towards the monster, she would slaughter that thing attacking with all her might claw, lighting, darkness, bite and every element she could muster.
It would become a fancy light show when she unleashed this upon the monster which was very soon as she neared it each second, she leaped towards it when she was close enough to maul and destroy it once and for all. The shadows and lightning grew in intensity manifold as it was fueled by her rage against the being.

Gwen stayed where she was, the cross' cord wrapped around her wrist like a bracelet, and raised her hand, her palm faced flat at the beast. "To quote the old scripture..." She said calmly, "From the ashes we were born and to the ashes we shalt return, Dust thou art, and unto dust thou shalt return. Herein lies mine own redemption foul beast and thou shalt taste mine wrath at that which thou hast destroyed. I mineself was a destoryer once, but no more, i found mine own redemption, now find thine in the light. For the light shalt purge the souls of the wicked and return them to their beginning, so they may be reborn."

A bright golden ball had been gathering in her palm as she spoke, and upon the final period, the ball shot forward with the sound of a 150mm cannon going off, streaking a line of gold towards the beast.

Gwen created a mass of electricity; however, the concentration of the light energy practically formed a miniature sun. The creation process and launch occurred before an eye blink, so, for this reason, the monster could not dodge. The attack ravished the scythe and the arm holding the weapon. Unfortunately, no more destruction was produced. While Gwen owned unstoppable speed, her sheer power lacked. That a side, the monster screamed in agony. This devastating distraction permitted Yeria to assault without issue. As such, Yeria leaped into the sky. The small creature--not anymore--latched onto and chomped the monster. Her deadly teeth vaporized the shoulder bones, her claws ripped apart the remaining chest bones, and her entire slowly decayed the whole of the creature's back. Even the wings wilted. Beyond helpless, the beast shrieked more so. Eventually, the two started descent, and, in the meantime, Yeria ate bone. The ground neared. Nevertheless, by the time these two touched the ground, the monster was no more. Destroyed--death to Death!

For a first, peace rolled into the scene. Quiet. A little later, an entity of some sort whirled around the eight. Quickly, the spinning thing whisked all of them to another location. A large hall took form around all of them. Royal walls blocked the left and right, while a designed gate prevented progress backward. On the other hand, four length-extended stairs marked the forward. A tapestry-filled wall lied passed the short staircase. Three spirits--Glith, Nore, and Sre--drifted to the tapestries.

"You won." Sre clapped audibly. "I seriously thought you would have died!" This one let loose a devious cackle. "But, no. Good work." For the first time in Heinmir's ears, this spirit handed a positive comment.

"Agreed," Glith added. "Under improper circumstances, you held together. No one should suffer what you all have." He bowed formally. "You deserve adulation of kings and queens."

Nore floated slowly to and fro. "More." Her words moved similarly. "You deserve proper rest and peace. Fighting takes tolls that cannot be paid." Displeasure and frustration touched her words. "That is over now. I hope that no more war forms." Hope. Life.

"I suppose we should explain your next duties." The majestical one moved towards the group. "The pattern used during our time differed greatly; however, I understand your destiny." This tricky word again? What did Glith have planned? The next sentences explained all, "You are free spirits. You have the ability to go anywhere; however, nothing exists anymore." What a lovely ending. "This world is but a mirage. Therefore, those in control of the fire, water, earth, and wind elements will command a new world and a new people into existence. That is, Gwendolen, Naum, Lag, Kutask, and Light." Glith spun around the two unmentioned. "Heinmir must give the people their souls--their lives. Yeria has a special job--never before used. I will get to that later. As for Weapon and Armor," The spirit spoke rather excited, "you will create the foundation for technology and magic, respectively."

Sre interjected, "You can't yammer the entire time. Let me speak." The nigh-jealous creature whooshed over to the eight. "The secondary elements of Anger. Yeria and Gwen, will protect the world of guardians." This energetic one moved towards the rear gate. "Your powers cannot be used at all times. I cannot even tell you when you can use them because the two owners of those keys perished. Sorry, you'll have to learn on your own."

Glith cleared his "throat" and filled in the rest of the explanation, "That covers everyone except Yeria's Dark element. Normally, you would not have anyone to judge. Except... one did survive the end of all. I will show you shortly." Glith marched back to the top of the stairwell.

"I wish to add." Nore finally piped up. Her meek, serene attitude waited for the others to finish. "You have control of what happens. You may choose to live in this empty world. And, you may manipulate your elements by command." She nodded as a quiet figure. "No one here can force you to act. Not anymore. Before we leave... and disappear, we want to answer questions. Right?" Her body shifted towards the other two spirits.

"Oh, right..." Glith expressed surprise, revealing a measure of forgetfulness.

Sre, on the other hand, sighed, "Fine, whatever." He wanted everything to be over. "Ask away."

Jenoth instantly raised a hand. "I've got a question... where do I fit in? You never once mentioned me. What am I precisely?" Silence answered. The three spirits stared at the Dragon-person-thing. Jenoth truly did perish; however, she stood in their midst breathing and alive. So, what was she?

"I'll spill the beans." Sre opened a box of chatter. "You are the overlord, the master of this fake world. You control how, where, why, and when the duties of the seven be transferred to another group. The monster that Yeria finished off... you are the same."

"...What?" Jen tilted her head, while disbelief shrouded the atoms of her being.

Nore countered the terror dribbling into the Dragon's heart. "You also are free. They broke you away from overlying control... and recently suppressed it. Now you control those bodies, minds, and souls that the 'master' absorbed. You have a freedom of choice. Any other questions?"

Kutask blinks, shocked. He then does something he's never done.
Cracks a joke. "Now you are become Death, destroyer of worlds," he laughs nervously. Silence. "Wait...what was that sound I made?" he asks.

Jenoth eyed the much smaller Sliver. "I'll destroy your world then. And consume Lag while I'm at it." She provided a serious tone; however, her words sounded anything but. Interestingly, Sre got a kick from the jeer. He burst into awkward laughter and then stopped.

Yeria slowly turned back into her little mouse form and she chuckled a bit at the joke from kutask happy that the situation wasn't so dire anymore. It sent some relief trough her but she was still worried about the final judgment she had to do and that was on her mind.
She looked at the group and then said.

"I myself honestly would think that living in an empty world would be way too boring. I mean there is nothing to do when there is nothing around isn't there?"

She then chuckled a bit and looked at the group.

"so what are our plans?"

"We have the keys that give the power of the elements with us. We can begin by molding a new dimension, start a new world anew. We can be heroes, no better... GODS! We could rule the WORLD!!" Lag said as he began to laugh at a maniacal frenzy.

He then suddenly stopped and said with a calm voice "Just a suggestion really"

Light stared in awe from the distance he was thrown as the creature fell to the massive power of the two, astounded not just by the force they put forth, but that it was over. It was FINALLY over. A wide smile slowly grew on his face and he let out an excited gasp "I-It's done...?" he muttered to himself as he pulled himself to his feet.

And suddenly, the darkness of the world disappeared. He was standing alongside the others. The other heroes. His friends. He couldn't help but feel that he couldn't have made it if he hadn't been carried through with them. He knew he was a kid and he was fine with that, even if in the back of his mind he wished he had been of more use...

He sat silently with a smile on his face, just excited to be finished with the difficult fight more than anything else running through his mind, wondering what came next. As the spirits explained further what was going on, what happened next, his smile gradually became gentler. With each new thing they said, he realized how he had left his mark on the group. How things might have ended up very different without him as well.

As they finished their explanation, ending up explaining to Jenoth what she had become, Light's eyes grew wide. He couldn't help but be overwhelmed with pride at that moment, tears forming in his eyes when he remembered, he had saved her. He insisted that they try to save her and they were able to. He closed his eyes, trying to block the tears of joy from realizing he really was more important than he had previously labeled himself. He felt more confident in himself in that moment than he ever had in his life.

He felt like everything that had been sacrificed so far was worth it in a way now. He still missed his family; the other elements would always be in his heart and he would never get over their absence, but he wasn't bitter. They had broken the cycle. Their world would never befall the same fate.

He opened his eyes again and let the tears fall to his smile as he turned to a familiar presence behind him. Dark stood, his arm extended, not looking quite like he belonged in the bright ornate room. Light sniffed "Light and Dark. Two sides of the same coin." he smirked, grabbing Dark's hand and absorbing him back into his body "Don't worry... I won't ignore you anymore." he said to himself "Create the world with the power of light and darkness together, just one is too dangerous... I've been a god before. Won't be as hard as getting here."

He turned back to the others "So then... we watch over, don't rule... I can live with that." he said, secretly knowing that he fully intended to enter the world of his own volition, though not at all as a ruler. He was restless, not a liar.

Another thought occurred to him though... "But... should they know of us at least? Or should we let them believe whatever they want of where they've come from...? If we need to do something about them, our influence would be stronger if they already knew about us..."

"Oh man, how come nobody here does want to rule in this place!? HOW CAN NOBO-..." He said as he got enveloped in Shadows and his shadow copy appeared.

"Blasted fool. Ruling as a spirit would cause nothing but trouble. Anyways, I speak for the both of us when I say that we both agree in not ruling and having our trials recorded. Having a book of tales of us will help to guide the people, to help them think." Ignaz said as he looked at the group.

The shadows dissolved and Lag appeared once more as he said "YOU DOUBLE CROSSING JERK!" He said to himself. He noticed the silence as the other stared. "Well yea... I think that not ruling would be good..." Lag said as he felt the dragoness stare down at him.

"But... what name should we name ourselves, if not Gods?" Lag said as he looked at the keys. "The Key Holders?"

Glith roamed back and forth cogitating the questions posed. "I cannot tell you precisely. You may choose how they know you, if they know you, et cetera." A deep pause dropped in; he considered the matter further. "I do wish to point out that, left alone, your creations will create mayhem and death. The others and I guided our people from a distance... as you have been considering." Flipping gears. "You will commonly be known as guardians. Your individual names must be picked, however. Your elements will be renamed after you."

"You can change the rules, if you want," Nore spoke contradictorily. "You may call yourselves anything you want, as a group or individually. For simplicity's sake, you can choose to keep the same."

Sre picked up on a missed fact. "Jenoth, unlike the last master, you can participate in the lives of the created. You could change your name, but you can choose whatever. That said, pick your new names now. After that, we can move on." The wisp moved toward the eight. "Shorter names work best; easier for the lower beings to remember. Also... whatever your new name be will lose personal value. They will become mystical and godly, so I suggest changing your names all-together. Keep your current ones for whatever use."

Lag was excited for this naming thingie as he began to think about names. Cool and awesome names came to his head as also noble names as he looked at the group. His eyes shone as he radiated happiness.

"Well... I want my name to be... Grrr... SO HARD TO CHOOSE!" He screamed as he levitated here and there. For the embodiment of Wisdom and Knowledge to be daffled with such a simple request must have made anyone giggle.

"I think I got it! My name shall be... Zephyros!" He said as he wondered where the crap that name had appeared.

The shadow materialized as he said "I'll stick with my name then. I don't wish to part of it after so little time has passed.

Kutask blinks several times. "...create a name," he echoes. "Um. Okay, I um...I don't know what to - "
Silence. He looks at his claw, and draws with it in the air, leaving behind a trail of shield with an earthen center. It glows softly, as though it were a rune. "I saw a human using this symbol as a source of magic not long before my old world died...he called it Masui." He thinks for a moment, and nods. "Masui," he echoes to the spirits.

Light blinked. "My own name?" he muttered. He hadn't had a choice in his name. His parents hadn't had a choice in his name. The line of elemental incarnations were always named after the base element that they embodied. He hadn't even considered it before, but his name was always set in stone for him. It was never truly his own, it was his element's.

"A name..." he muttered to himself and seemed to think to himself for a long time "My new name... how about..." he hummed to himself in thought and then said "Alright. My new name will be Lith'an. Huh... you guys might just hear it as 'Hope' though, since you can understand my language..." he added, muttering the last bit to himself.

"Well Umbra I guess would be the best for my name"

Yeria said and looked at the others and smiled a bit. She wondered still what she was going to judge and what she was going to do now. So many possibilities but she didn't know what to pick.

Heinmir wondered on the name change himself. "I choose to be Talon." The words migrated confidently to the others. That said, all attention plummeted upon Jenoth. Would she change her name? The dragoness made minor motions; she seemed to be cogitating.

"I will hold onto my name," She spoke clearly and seriously. "I wish to keep something of the past intact, and a name contains a lot of meaning."

The predecessor to Heinmir shifted around carelessly. "Well, that finishes up that." This casual one pointed to gate behind. "We will separate you into your different tasks, but, once you are done, you can move around freely." Immediately, the exit sucked all eight in and directed each to piercing darkness. This nothingness--lack of existence--would become a new world, a new people, and a new hope.

Yeria was drawn away from the rest, however. In the midst of nothing, she saw a creature--a Dragon? Unlike Jenoth, this one owned greater size and age. He drifted along. Misery etched into every part of his being, and scars raged across his body. The other Dragon, Jenoth, moved closer, curious about the person. "Another of my kind?" Curiosity smothered her face. While Jen mused, Yeria saw the outward and the inward.

The drifting survivor's memories ran through Yeria's mind. As a young child, this survivor lost his family. No, they abandoned the youngling. A human, enemy of that time, adopted and raised the little one. Growing older, he become a great, yet humble leader. Who was this person? Why did he survive the destruction of everything? The Dragon did not receive any keys nor suffered trials. Once his adopted father passed away, he inherited a large kingdom; however, his step-brother, adopted by the same dad, betrayed him. Betrayal led to struggles and prolonged recovery; nonetheless, this nameless one made a larger nation. One planet submitted to his control. Following, many more worlds joined and created a federation. Decades passed, and, in that time, the country enlarged greatly.

More time flew by. Instead of accepting people groups, the Dragon forced trillions upon trillions of people into the federation. Many perished defending their own people. Eventually, the small nation became over-sized and unstoppable. No one and nothing could stop this massive force. The Dragon personally betrayed his country for a time, wreaking havoc on the innocent and guilty alike. The slaughter itself removed trillions of live and left far more without a loved one. He drove his wife to suicide. What relevance stood to current matters? The enormous country massed so indiscriminately that morality decayed. Life itself lost value; war become the reason for existence. An opposing force, supernatural creatures, finally overturned the monster; however, as a last ditch effort, the Dragon unleashed a great weapon.

Everything fell apart. Blacks holes and supernovas consumed every bit of the universe. The nation and its enemy died off. A burning flag and poster floated by Yeria's sight. The prior read: "United Defense Federation," and the latter: "Work for Joshua Trinity." Vision ended.

Sre zoomed to her side. "You want the truth? My group of guardians decided to involve ourselves with the mortal world." The spirit revealed sadness. "We chose this person to be our representative. We gifted him with all of our abilities and guided his path to success. But, we created a monster. Joshua started the wars that consumed our universe, and he ignited the weapon that drove the final nail into the coffin." Sre paused and drifted to the Dragon. "You choose whether or not he survives. We don't know why, but he lived through the destruction. Now he is at your mercy." A quietness erupted that evoked bitter choking. Sre could barely speak. "I bet he would apologize for his sins." A simple looked showed great remorse in the fellow's demeanor. "But, if you permit him to live, he will likely bring the same war into the new world. If you kill him, then you'll free the next world of his kind. Choose wisely." Then he abandoned Yeria.

(Fisk's job is pretty clear. I want to clarify what you rest of you will do. First of all, the world(s) and people(s) must be created. Kuro, Enemy, Dendyn, Mach, and Clue will be the ones to design the world. Following, Mach and I--as Heinmir--will fit in how the magic and technology will fit into the scene. The world creation will be most difficult of these different things. I want the five of you to discuss amongst yourselves. Then one will post what all five of you agree upon. If any of you have questions, please ask them. I tried to be as detailed as possible, but I apologize for any vagueness.)

"It seems we are to create the new world..." Gwen muttered. "Let's start with one planet and one sun, then build out from there, however i will say this, anything we make stays in existence unless it threatens the rest of what we have created. that means our screw-ups stay unless they are gonna end up screwing up everything. I don't think we should reveal ourselves as the creators of everything... people would get too dependant on us."

"I think that what you say is logic, but that's the point of religions. We can't have people wander around without a hope of a better place. Like the Wind of my People." Lag said as he stared at Gwen. Religion is one of the few things that he wanted to have. Not all of them.

"I recommend that we create a set number of continents as we see fit. Each of the creations must be first passed by us first, since if we only create forests, we would have a weird and unstable enviroment." The wisdonw inside his voice was surprising, since he also felt that a disbalance in the presence of all elements would cause a destruction of their hard work. It seemed logical, since they each governed a different element.

"We must have desserts, Ice, water, forests, valleys, volcanos and mountains." Lag stated as he looked at them. "Any complaints?"

Yeria looked over the events that she had been granted in the vision and she sighed as she said and looked at the dragon.

"I am here to judge you. I see that in your earlier years you strove to do something good but latter the power corrupted you and led you to a path of a conqueror and a warlord. You have made your followers do horrible acts in your name as well as you yourself have made such acts. This is something that cannot be ignored but neither can the good things you actually committed. It's just that the bad things you have done weighs more then the good acts... And you will be judged as such. Your judgment is that you will relieve what horrible acts you have done for 1000 years and then you will be granted an eternal peace that you deserve from the good acts you have actually done. Though you will never forget those heinous acts and they will weigh down upon you."

Yeria looked at the dragon as she was now finished with her little speech.

In only a short time, amidst the crashing of stone and fire, water and wind, the world was made.

The link Kutask made with his allies...his friends...made things go easily. Each of the Key-Bearers was given room to grow in various corners of the western continent. Kutask and Heinmir worked on the magic and technology, respectively.

Far to the south, near the coldest parts, were Naum's people - a fox-race with fire magic. Kitsune. Their lives were tough in the cold and high mountains, but they had their fires to keep them warm when they needed it. Further, the plants were hardy, so they could survive even the tough winters, and lasted throughout the milder seasons. They hunted and traded as they needed, farming as they could. The farther north one went, the fewer great mountains (and occasionally volcanoes) and the more great fjords and glaciers they found. They developed fire quickly, and respected its power. They would eventually learn the sea trade when they discovered the coasts, and became naturals.

In more temperate regions were the Efana, who were men with wings and feathers. They were haughty towards the ground creatures, believing the ground to be bad luck, and lived high in the trees. They lived in forests and on mountains when they had to, preferring higher places of elevation. They learned Wind magic, as the sky and its powers were sacred to them. They were people who looked for wisdom – not for power, not for knowledge, but true wisdom and balance. They learned of the great gryphons and their tempers, and learned to respect the great beasts and their territories.

In the tropical areas, the Atlanteans were reborn. Though Light's knowledge was incomplete, things took their “proper” shape soon enough. Though the Atlanteans had tried to create a selfless utopia with a fusion of magic and technology, they instead created a police state enforced by its own citizens more than its police or politicians. No one did what was selfish if they could help it, unless they were forced to great extremes to survive. This came to a head when five Atlantean kings decided they wanted power more than any other, and were banished along with their “elemental courts”.

Gwen's people were Serpentfolk, a sinuous reptilian people who lived in the swamps. Though life was somewhat tough, they were greatly studious of nature and natural wonders, as well as how things worked. Though magic was told to have sentience, and a temper should it be called on too much, this gave them great reason to use other methods. Thus they developed martial arts and methods to hunt without weapons. Traps were a high art, and over time they came to realize the power of luck and chance. Gambling, for fun or profit, became a past-time, and those with great luck became respected.

The desert near great lake oasi housed the Maliana, humans who had the powers of their creator, Kutask – the power to connect to another's mind. He did not give them the power to form hives, fearing what they might do if given such a monumental tool, and turned them from magic to figuring out technology (with guidance from Heinmir as well). They took these lessons too much to heart, but developed gunpowder, stonework, arts, and farming quickly, and continued to study the world around them from a mathematical and calculative eye. Though they remained divided as a people, living in a peaceful version of feudalism, they could band together if they felt it necessary.

The five races would all meet eventually, able to determine that their “gods” had all worked together at one point, and began to tentatively open trade. Things were bumpy at first, but eventually, they ironed out the worst problems. A thousand years was the world at this point, and the First Millenium's passing was celebrated with a grand festival held in each capital city, sharing with each other the fruits of their harvests and hunts. The Kitsune brought ciders, the Maliana fireworks, the Serpentfolk swamp elk, the Efana bread, the Atlanteans sweets. The festivals lasted for four days.

As the sun set that lovely summer's eve on the no-longer-young world of Keyhelm, the people realized how fortunate they were, and their prayers of thanks reached the heavens and everywhere else. Though not true utopia, the world was a happy place thanks to the combined efforts of its people. Peace was not easy to maintain at all times, but it was known to be worth the effort. After all, those who had made the world passed on what happened in times of war. What happened to the old Creation. The people swore to hold back from such pettiness...

As created by six guardians, the new world leaned towards nature. Technology remained to a minimum; moreover, magic dropped off the forefront. Instead of destructive power, the residents of Keyholm wielded true skill. They worked and learned manually. Peace did ensue over war; the path to destruction faded away quickly. Additionally, Jenoth participated in festivals and celebrations, and she worked to end wars faster.

Indeed, the expected conflicts arose; nonetheless, a surprise struck the guardians... and the entire world. The man, Joshua, destined for 1000 years of torment rebelled. Constant reminders of his sin raged against his conscious. He desired forgiveness. At twenty years, the prison succumb to sheer power; despite the prior world's death, Joshua retained his gifts of strength. While weaker in all aspects, he wielded all fourteen Emotion Elements. Yeria failed to contain him; he used the similar tactics and tricks that the key-wielders did during their trials. Specific bending of the elements won. Afterwards, he entered into the world of Keyholm and disappeared from sight. Not even Gwen or Lag could determine this one's location. As searches went on, a new culture rose up among the created.

Words spread slowly. The different teaching pushed forgiveness. Fortunately, peace only grew in prevalence; nonetheless, a single conflict between the Guardians' will and the teaching destroyed the authority of the creators. The doctrine taught that those "above" retained the same level of imperfection as those "below." In other words, the Guardians owned only magic that was better. These beliefs stayed with a small crowd for a long time; however, by the time the 1000 year festival turned around, the key-wielders had lost much of their influence. The residents of Keyholm respected the Guardians, but they viewed the spirits as merely their equals. A "higher being" sounded conversations instead. Someone else grabbed Godhood, but that person never showed physically. Still, the people did turn away from their creators.

On a side note, no one ever found Joshua Trinity; although, teachings among many groups mention his death by old age. Where his body lay, no one knew. Still, Joshua beat Yeria in a fight. By all means, he could have created war-band to defeat the Guardians. Potential to win sat directly in his lap; however, he never took the opportunity. If anything, he forgave the Guardians for their misdeeds. Though, no chance arose to question him, so the guardians never determined his true reasoning.

Another surprise marked Keyholm. To the surprise of many, Glith, Sre, and Nore received mortal lives on Keyholm. A second chance at true life. In addition to Jenoth and Joshua's actions, these three produced further justice and tranquility. Far beyond death, their legacy was remembered by many.

By all appearances, Keyholm seemed likely to survive forever. Though, end came to all, so why not the world? However, the end lost meaning. The journey to the end mattered far more. Unlike the world previous, life and love survived beyond death and hate. War changed purpose; fighting strove for the right. Death rarely struck without reason; in fact, death rarely tolled at all--except by natural means. Therefore, regardless of the end, Keyholm consistently acted in kindness. Prosperity beyond any previous sight came around. The prosperity caused issues--laziness, decay, etc. Yet, unlike cases before, the majority continued their hardworking mentality. Indeed, this new world acted differently from the last.

THE END
