(2) "I'm over here!" Light called, when from behind, he was tackled once again by dark, a blackened claw once again striking down at him, this time too fast for him to react. The torchlight happened to pass over Dark as he pulled back and the burning darkness vanished briefly. He ended up simply punching Light in the face instead of rending him with the dark claw and stopped, looking at his hand in surprise. "Ah!" Light shouted "D-Darkness... I'm Light, you're Dark?!" he asked in a shouted panic as the being's shroud enveloped him again and started once more to creep along Light's arms, as if trying to encase him in darkness before he was once again propelled off with a torrent of water, still leaving behind a burning darkness on Light's arms. "What is this? I don't understand, you helped me before!" Light called into the darkness, looking down at the lingering shadows on his arms "What is he doing to me..." Dark once again pounced from behind, this time pinning him face down to the ground. Light looked down and could see shadows creeping over him "N-No...!" he pulled his elbow back and hit Dark as hard as he could, which wasn't that hard at all, but Dark wasn't exactly physically durable either. He ended up being able to push him off before the darkness swallowed him, but he was still covered in shadow... until he accidentally waved the torch over his arm and it vanished "... Light burns away dark..." he realized immediately that the torch was his best weapon and started waving it frantically around, trying not to give Dark an opening to strike him again. "Jenoth! Be careful! Light is its weakness! But I think it's just after me!" Edited by Acclue Lockheart, Jan 24 2011, 05:07 PM.

The bullet drove itself straight through her stomach, but managed not to hit anything vital, not a bone, or anything. It still left a pair of holes, though, one from the bullet going in, one from the bullet going out. She barely felt the pain as adrenaline flooded her system, and she slowly picked up the pistol again, reloading it, keeping her eyes on the woman, pure hatred and rage seeming to spill out of her eyes, before she let another round go at the woman's head, with a massive amount of heat magic. And as soon as she shot, she felt rather weak, swaying, as if it was hard for her to stay upright. (Group three) |

Gwen gritted her teeth as stars burst in front of her. Crucifictus... i'm done... Gwen thought through the pain. No... i won't give in, i've already died, i will not be erased from existence. i may have been ready for that before but now i know why i am here, and i won't let this bitch win. Gwen forced all her willpower into moving her arm away from the wall. I WON'T LET YOU WIN! she screamed at her opponent mentally, not knowing or caring if it would work, still straining to move. Shadow Lag and Lag stepped back. They could not expect to win in a fight, could they? Lag jumped to side of the pillar, inmediately clashed into a Shadow Lag. They grabbed each other and went for an Izuna Drop, (The correct hame of the Hidden Lotus of Naruto), but both Lag and Shadow released themselves on time and landed on the ground hard, sufficiently enough to create a wide hole.. They were not panting, but this was not working. "This isn't going to work for both of us. We are the same, but from different sides! We can't be fighting!" Lag said as he looked at his shadow version. His staff tightly grabbed and his senses sky high, he noticed how the air crackle in Shadow's Lags hand and how the wind burned and howled. "But ain't that the fun? We are equals... or not?" Shadow Lag said as tentacles appeared around him and begin to move. "Don't you always say that shadows are everywhere? Like... the rock at your right? He said as a needle shot right to Lag's side. He evaded it. "Or the hole at your left?" He said as another needle struck out. Needles and needles were appearing everywhere! "You can't really escape from me, can you?" He said as he more and more needles came from the cracks. Lag jumped high as to avoid them as but Shadow Lag was already up there and rammed a fireball right in Lag's face. He was thrown out of balance and landed into the hole, where the same needles became flexible. The tentacles grabbed Lag in all of his limbs and inmobilized him. Lag closed his eyes and a tornado appeared as fast as a blink, destroying all of the shadow projection and he jumped to the sky where Shadow Lag was. "Oh... we're gooooooooooooooooooooood" They both said at the same time as they lunged at each other again, this time in mid air. GRoup 2 Edited by Dendyn, Jan 12 2011, 08:24 PM.

It all happened so fast, he had been thrown into the air and then slammed into the ground within a split second, it happened so fast that he started to wonder if it didn't happen at the same time. It hurt, everything hurt, his face, lungs, neck, ribs, back, legs, hands and arms, everything. When would this pain end? was this his time to die?. Heinmir chipped for air but none would enter his lungs, he tried to move but no part of him would. He laid there, paralyzed, trying to understand what had just happened. The woman stood not far from him, panting rapidly, visibly tired but not a single wound on herself that he could see. So quickly, so easily had she defeated all three of them and he hadn't even been able to harm her, let alone touch her with anything. Perhaps this was as far as he could possibly go with his level of power, the evidence stood in front of him after all, he was useless and weak against this woman. (Group 3.) Yeria used a substitute that took all the damage and she herself used a quick attack to actually just get away and then she used her powers to create a hailstorm of small darkness spikes that moved incredibly fast towards the foe. She also launched several more slow moving blades of darkness that was very wide (group 1) Edited by Fiskpinne, Jan 14 2011, 09:44 PM.

(Group 1) Voish growled with frustration when his four attacks harmlessly passed through the dark clone. Upon landing, a jolt of sand jumped up around him. All of Yeria's spikes impaled themselves upon the wall of earth. Once the darts had been stopped, Voish charged at Yeria. He zoomed through the wall of sand and darted at Yeria. His speed surpassed anything Yeria had seen... but control on that speed lacked. The lizard creature swiped at Yeria with one sword on the "fly" by. On the other hand, he skid a few feet after stopping. Kutask gained no progress. His earthen spells and detection could not work well enough in this environment. His other key may be the only one to work properly here. While Yeria faced off with Voish, a shape formed out of the sand. A hand? The figure reached out from the sea. Before long, it attempted a grab for Kutask. Fortunately, it was slow. ~~~~~ (Group 3) Heinmir's mental distress suddenly came to fruition. Naum's pistol resounded with a loud crack! The bullet whizzed through the air without competition and met with a softened skull. Instantly, the white woman fell to the ground, bleeding from her holey head. Her body made no movement. Even so, how could she be dead? Gwen still hung from that cross. Her struggle only heightened the pain. Her senses became filled with a flurry of emotions, and now her head ached from mental anguish. Naum stood with bleeding gut, and Heinmir lied with death. What had the battle cost them? The tiger remained. This creature eyed its rider with a measure of concern. After a few seconds, an expression of surprise and then anger exploded. An echoing growl sounded from the massive cat. The fight was not over! The tiger sprinted forward. The target became obvious... Heinmir. Naum could do nothing without a magic charged bullet. Her stomach had begun to heal, but it would not recover in time to make a shot. Heinmir had no power to fight with. Gwen could only watch with horror. If her physical and mental pain weren't enough, what would Heinmir's death do? Maybe he would come back as she did... maybe not. Gwen had been fed enough of the destruction. The memories of her world and the chaos filled there. Enough! Her arm finally flung forward, and the entire cross shattered into thousands of sparkles. She instantly dropped to the ground. After landing, she could see the enemy beast rushing at Heinmir, but she had only a few seconds. Her body shook from the trauma, and she could not feel any scrap of energy remaining in her entire body. But, who needed energy when a friend's life was on the line? ~~~~~ (Group 2) While Lag and his Shadow fought, Jenoth searched around for Light. "All right! I got it." Jenoth responded to Light. Light, light... where do I get that? The light is coming from the sky, but all of this darkness is blotting out the light. Ack, I don't have time to think about this! The dragon followed the battle sounds. Shadow Lag posed the challenge for Lag. This was new... never before had they both owned seperate bodies. In the midst of the fighting, Lag saw a few intricacies about the darkness. He realized that the darkness was always much thicker around Shadow Lag; in addition to that, the wind Lag produced caused the darkness to sway and move. A gas! That meants Lag could possibly remove the darkness. Before he could, a nearby voice rang in his hear, "Light I'm coming!" Within a few moment, Jenoth came into view. "Wait a second..." She watched as the two opponents lunged into each other. "...I went the wrong way." |

Naum held the hole in the front with her free hand, starting to just stagger. Is she really. . . dead? I sure hope she is. . . the fucker. Then, the tiger attacked. She couldn't really do anything but watch helplessly, firing a round or two at the tiger, none-enchanted but anything was better than nothing. Blackness started to show at the edges of her vision. Heinmir could not believe his eyes when he saw the fox woman slump to ground, and stay down. Had her immortality only been temporary? What ever the answer was, he only needed to know that she was dead, too bad for him only that the tiger seemed to know it as well and it's ear shattering roar made his hair stand on end and blood turn to ice. The tiger kicked the ground with it's powerful legs, claws leaving deep gashes in the stone, kicking up dust and pebbles as it charged towards Heinmir, death incarnate for anything that stood in it's way. Strangely enough, Heinmir did not fear the end, he would died on a battlefield after all, a real warrior's death awaited him and the one who would give it to him was almost upon him. Heinmir gasped audibly when Gwen suddenly came into view, charging directly at the beast from it's right side, moving at a speed Heinmir thought was impossible for the witch and gave it a hard, lightning fast tackle right at it's front legs. Time seemed to slowdown to a halt when the big tiger began to lose it's balance, Gwen had not given up yet and still fought with might be the last ounce of her power. The sight brought heart to Heinmir, 'a warrior died fighting' his uncle once said. Suddenly Heinmir was aware of a store of energy within him, a surge of power for him to draw from, a source that the key had given him during this fight ever since he stopped giving magic to Gwen's spell, he would probably end up using it all to defeat this tiger though. Bones popped and creaked as he moved his arms, resulting in such intense pain that Heinmir screamed loudly from the top of his lungs, only to lose his voice as he drained himself of all magical energy he could gather. Suddenly, only a short moment after Gwen had collided with the tiger's legs a dark being, just as tall and wide as Heinmir and also resembled him in full plate armor but each inch of this Heinmir was covered in sharp edges, barbed hooks and pointy tips, appeared from nowhere, haunched beneath the tigers massive jaw. The golem of weapons drew back it's arm and brought it's fist covered in hooks and spikes up straight into the tiger's jaw. The blow was hard enough to completely stop the tiger in it's tracks but the golem wasn't done however and drew back it's spiked covered helmet and rammed it into the chest of the mighty white beast. There was a loud clang as metal met metal but while the sound coming from the tiger sounded stuffed, the sound from the golem sounded hollow. The blow sent the tiger flying backwards to the point where it had started, the golem stood still and waited for the tiger to come at it again, spiked fists at the ready. The world pulsated around Heinmir, everything grew larger at first but then quickly smaller just to grow large again. His chest burned with pain , begging for oxygen Heinmir could not produce, cracks in his skin that had not been there before slowly creped up from his hands and along his arms, they were shallow for now but who knew what would happen if he held this spell much longer. Yeria tried to dodge as she was panicking, what was she going to do against this superior foe that she was facing. She concentrated her all and gathered her power while dodging and forming a ball of pure destruction in front of her that gathered in energy for each passing second. Her defenses weakened as she pulled power from everything to power this. But it worked slowly since she couldn't focus totally on it if she didn't want a sword in her head again. She had to dodge as well and so she did. |

(2) Light swung the light around wildly, catching sights of shadowy trails burning away, but never seeming to catch Dark head on. He suddenly turned and shined the torch right on the doppelganger, causing the darkness holding him up to burn away around him as he fell to the ground. He quickly took to charging Light while he was still off-guard and ended up locking hands with him, knocking the torch to the ground, where it shined on them both. "What is wrong with you!" Light shouted, trying to push him back as Dark resisted. He finally managed to push him back, being stronger in the light than he was, but Dark immediately held his hand out toward the torch, where darkness began to creep over the back. "NO!" Light caused a surge of water that blew the device back toward him, but also move the light away from Dark. When he leaned down to pick it up, he was gone again. "This isn't funny! I don't want to hurt you, and I don't think you want to hurt me! You helped me!" he called out to the nothingness as he flailed it around wildly again. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a black collar wrapped itself around Light's neck and he found himself choking as darkness began to wrap itself around the back of his body. The collar slowly tightened as the torch was knocked out of his hand. He was helpless as Dark's face showed up in the darkness in front of him, the blackness starting to envelop him completely, fear growing in his eyes. Lag just smiled and created a tornado in between them. The shadows lost their lighting and were refracted way to fast to be able to create consistent shadows on the floor. Lag gently landed, as did his Shadow. His Shadow looked at the passing wind, and grinned "So you found out one of the many ways to create a distortion on shadows. But you still haven't found a way to defeat yourself!" He said as the shadows around him stretched and needle like projectiles were thrown from below Lag's feet. Lag leg was pierced by one of the projectiles, making fall to his knee. His Shadow dashed and stopped, with the shadow of a sword in his hand that was pointing at his throat. "I win" His shadow said as he smiled group 2 Edited by Dendyn, Jan 24 2011, 05:11 PM.

(Group 1) Yeria, by her own surprise, dodged the speedy attack completely; although, the sword nearly clipped her ears. "ARRR!" Voish growled with frustration. He took quick note of Yeria's spell and swiped two more waves of darkness towards Yeria. These ones were horizontal, skiding across the sand. Following, Voish jumped high into the air again to bring his swords down on Yeria again. Only a few seconds gave themselves to her, for both sets of attacks would hit quickly. To make matters worse, a flurry of sand skipped into the air all around Yeria. The dust devil blocked her view of both Voish and the waves of energy. As the sand surrounded Yeria, Kutask lost physical indentification of her location. His mental connection still functioned, but he could no longer see her specific position by any method. Furthermore, the hand made any sort of sight or feeling null. He was blind by multiple sorts. The hand could not crush the barrier by full force, but the shield seemed to weaken from the constant erosion of the sand. The other battles entailed quick, constant actions, but this one owned a sense of tactical slowness. ~~~~~ (Group 2) At the same time Light's cries echoed in the area, Shadow Lag put his original to the floor. Jenoth watched the shadows move on Lag's command. "It acts almost like smoke," she mused calmly. Her body twitched with the desire to act, but something held her back. Two forces fought inside her mind, but, unlike the other two, she did not wrestle with her own shadow. Her hand migrated to her head as if a sudden headache enveloped her cranium. A flash. Time seemed to stop, yet her mind sped up. "Who am I? What am I doing here?" Herself questioned. "You should save them. But, what can I do?" Her memories hung as a carrot on a stick. She could almost grab them, but another entity held them back. "You are dead, so what does it matter about your past. Rescue them. I am not dead! My body is real, my concious still exists. My past matters because that is who I am." The struggle thickened. "Your duty is more important. Your life has passed, now fufill your destiny!" Time resumed. "AHHH!!!" She shrieked in pain, her head pulsing unbearably. Both keys, Knowledge and Peace, brightened dimly. Then nothing. The ache vanished and the keys returned to normal. Jenoth hung in the air for but a second. Instantly, she darted forward at Shadow Lag, and, strangely, the speed mimicked Lag's. Upon reach, she shoved Shadow Lag's sword out of the way, before grabbing Lag and reentering the air. A ring of wind surrounded Jenoth. Lag could clearly see her power--that is, his own. With the passage of another second, the ring shot out into all directions, spreading the darkness out immensely. Even to where Light and Dark struggled, the non-uniform substance moved away. A rather bright light shined down from the sky. Even though the darkness already began to move back in to fill the vacancy, the three would have a couple minutes of brightness to work with. They could even see each other now. ~~~~~ (Group 3) As typical, Naum's shots bounced off pitifully. They did not even hamper the tiger's movements. Gwen, on the other hand, stopped the tiger completely. Her collision transfered every last volt into the tiger, but, the impact tossed Gwen away. Her spirit landed on the ground. Between the three major attacks and the temporary crucifiction, her entire reserves had been wiped. She could not even move, let alone stand. Fortunately, the electricity stunned the tiger for at least fifteen seconds. That allowed Heinmir the time needed to summon his metal golem and strike without chance of dodge. The uppercut hit with a loud crack. The same sound reverberated when the tackle occured. The large cat flew back many yards and slammed into the wall. Upon landing, a broken headguard fell off the tiger, and several breaks in the chest plate showed. On the opposite end, the golem's fist crumbled and parts of the helmet dropped to the ground. The material strengths were equal. Even so, the golem didn't have a soft inside to worry about; the tiger did. Blood dripped from the creature's mouth. The beast could not stand for long and, instead, fell onto its belly. By appearance, Heinmir seemed to have broken a few ribs--a few of the tiger's ribs, that is. Before long, both the rider and mount burst into light. The battle had ended, finally. The battle had ended, but more occured. The wispy creature known as Gwen sank into the ground. Without energy, she could not resist, and, before long, she had vanished completely. Furthermore, the light that the two bodies produced swirled around Heinmir. Within moments, he was spiritied away, leaving a beaten and battered Naum by her lonesome. Heinmir found himself hovering in the middle of a white nothingness. The area resembled where the dome had been, but he could not even find one of those. He did, however, see the woman floating a few feet in front of him. This time, she held no weapon nor wore a gauntlet. "I'm sorry." The words sounded. Her mouth did not move, but she clearly was giving the sound. "I do not have a choice. I can not stop the fighting." Apparently, she was refering to Heinmir's frustration with the constant battles. "I am only a memory, so I have no will." Her expression smiled. "You won, almost at the cost of your own life. And, you get power as the reward." She drew closer to him, stopping only an inch or so from his face. She looked into his eyes deeply... a tear slipped down her eye. "You cannot escape the fighting. If you want peace, you'll need to fight for it. If you want evil gone, if you want the light and warmth and love to be spread, if you want your memories to mean something, then fight. Fight to stop the fighting." She grabbed his hand and placed an item in his palm. Another key. "I am sorry that you have to bear the burden, but I could not have chosen a better person." Instantly, the woman disappeared. ... Did she just say that she chose him? Gwen found herself hanging in black nothingness. It seemed to be pretty common. First at her death, now after nearly dying again, if that was possible. A bland voice spoke up. "You're not invulnerable. Thankfully, you cannot be killed in here, but, in the real world, you can. Your first death seperated you from your body, your next will seperate you from existance. Anyway, not like it matters." So, complete death is irrelevant? The voice quieted for a few seconds. "Why are you here, Gwen? Why did you even bother to survive? Tell me, what's the point of your existance." Naum stood in the empty room with a clotted hole in her gut. Every cell that covered her being craved energy. Fortunately, the key gave a steady flow of power and strength. "You have succeeded." A familiar tone called. The majestic spirit of Glith swayed in front of Naum. "How do you feel?" The question seemed stupid, but he asked anyway. |

"I feel horrible." she said quietly, not even thinking about it. "I feel like I was run over by something huge, maybe a hundred ton boulder, I don't know." she muttered, still laying on the ground, because it seemed like the ground was moving to her. (Group three) |

The golem crumbled into iron dust as soon as the tiger evaporated into light and instantly Heinmir drew a deep breath as if he had been holding it this entire time. He drew deep ragged breaths and tried to remember when air had last been this wonderful, but soon the pain from all his wounds and stole his breath for a moment. He was just about to scream when he suddenly found himself bathed in bright light and then, nothing. Only white emptiness surrounded him, similar to the one in the dome but it was completely empty, until he noticed the fox woman standing in front of him, looking at him. The woman spoke but didn't move her mouth, she made sound but no physical changes told Heinmir how she did it. He listened to her has she spoke, his heart beat faster when she moved closer, stopping only an inch from his face who grew hot and red by this sudden closeness. He felt a sting of sorrow when a tear fell from her eye and he had to fight the urge to wipe it away while he listened to the rest she had to say.She pressed something into his hand as she talked and Heinmir found himself becoming very surprised once again by this woman as she suddenly told him that she couldn't have chosen a better person. Then the woman suddenly disappeared without a trace, just like that in the blink of an eye, Heinmir looked around the white emptiness, whipping his head to either side while turning around but he could not find her anywhere. He looked down onto his scarred hands, the cracks in his skin had already begun to heal because of the key around his neck, he opened the hand she had pressed the key into and just stood there, staring at the key, so much pain and suffering for such a small object. She had fought him against her will, she had been forced to fight and now that burden had been placed on his shoulders. His fist clenched tightly around the key so that it almost penetrated his skin. "I will not forget..." He said lowly, opening his hand and looked at the key for a brief moment before hanging it around his neck. "I will not forget you...you are my memory now, may your spirit rest easy in the bleak afterlife along with my wife" his fists clenched tightly again as he fought back the tears that gathered in his eyes, he needed to be strong, for everyone's sake. Yeria continued to charge the ball of energy that was now whining softly and it looked like it was distorted around it(like the distortion in water or something) She jumped to evade the blades as well as quick attacking in the middle of the air to move away from the converging point of the swords and blades, she was really hoping that her plan would work since it would probably be very destructive when she finally unleashed it. She thought about how to do that in fact. Quite troublesome. (1) |

(2) Light gasped as he got his breath back, the enveloping shadows being drowned out by the bright light. Dark stumbled back, trying to shield himself from the light with his arm as Light breathed a few shallow breaths, trying to stumble back onto his feet. The intensity of the light quickly rejuvenated the avatar of light, however, and he looked at his weakened counterpart with a stern look on his face. With little thought, he reached his hand up and harnessed what was an incredibly elusive and valuable substance to him in this world: natural light. In a second, he had bent and focused a circular area over Dark's head to a fine destructive point and unleashed a burning destruction down on his counterpart. In an instant, Dark disappeared as quickly as he had come, and flew back toward Light's chest, disappearing back into him once again. Light quickly felt around his body to see if something had changed "Huh..." he looked over to Lag, wondering if he could help with him now. Edited by Acclue Lockheart, Jan 26 2011, 10:59 PM.

Lag stood up as he saw the charge that the dragon did to his dark side. The Shadow just smiled and melted into the ground, right behind Jenoth. She had successed in hitting him, but there was no damage, no recoil, no effect. "You dumb dragon, don't meddle in private affairs. I can not be damaged be the likes of you! Only he can." The Shadow said as he looked at Lag. "Although I would want that so badly" He replied as he spitted blood to the ground. He was beginning to show weakness of fatigue and he was panting hard. They just stood there, looking at each other. Group 2 Edited by Dendyn, Feb 10 2011, 12:30 AM.

(Group 2) Slowly the darkness that Jenoth had expelled drifted back into place. "I understand." The dead Dragon replied monotone. "I will try to keep the darkness back." Obviously, neither she nor Light could help much, so Lag would need to speed up the battle. If he continued this much further... he might perish. "Finish him." Jenoth let Lag float on his own and retreated several feet. "Light." The Draconic mistress looked down at the child. "Are you well?" The way Jenoth carred herself, spoke, and acted seemed different. What a strange being. ~~~~~ (Group 1) The waves of dark energy missed Yeria below. In addition, the swords skimmed by her harmlessly, but they did not carry Voish with them. As Yeria quicked attacked away, she bumped into the sand tornado. More of a bounced off. A heavy abrasion marked the side that touched the sand, and, even worse, the sand became thicker. She could no longer see the outside at all. Her charged attack would not be viable without sight. Kutask's idea worked without flaw. The hand flopped into two halves and melted away into the sandy sea, but the poor Sliver did not get a break. Two horizontal tornados jumped out of the ground and flew out Kutask on the front; moreover, the sand began to build up around Kutask's barrier, preventing movement. The tornados impacted quite quickly. The hit forced a sharp pain up into Kutask's head. The barrier held, but the drill-like twisters were digging through his protection. Cracks began to form at the impact points. Yeria could by no means find her way out, nor did she have time to. Moments after the sand thickened, a familiar darkness enveloped the tornado. All went to pure darkness; though, that did not affect Yeria's sight at all. A speedy slice of magic darted over the sand directly at Yeria. Something was making that cut... but Yeria could not identify it. ~~~~~ (Group 3) "You live because you have no choice. Yet you are dead." The voice gave Gwen a stern reply. "Can you truly protect after the fact? You have no life, no will, no choice." Was this some sort of interogation? "You failed to answer my question. What is the point of your existance? Why were you born? Why did you come here?" This spirit grew hostile. "Answer me!" Glith drifted around Naum. "Well, that means you still live." He seemed to kneel beside her. "But, I must warn you... you have ffought nothing. You have yet to face the real challenge." A smile? "I should not be here. You shouldn't have my help... but I suppose I am no better than Nore." Glith paused for several seconds, seeming to considering several words. "Let me advise you. Forget that you have a life. Risk everything and don't hold back. I apologize if that doesn't make sense, but you are already destined to meet death at least once." Great, so she's going to die. "This will be important. Bye for now." Glith vanished. Heinmir drifted in that emptiness for a few minutes after the woman had vanished. Destiny seemed to be considering what would happen next... or maybe Heinmir was deciding his own destiny. Finally, the key in his hand began to react, and, in conjunction, the key around his neck brightened. The chain snapped and original key drifted to his other hand. Heinmir's memories flashed through his mind once again. This time was even more painful than the last. His world, his home... his wife. Eventually, the pain ceased; however, the memories remained. One key wrought amnesia, the other remembrance. On the other hand, his original weapon and armor covered him. Shiny, as if brand new. In all this time, the surroundings returned to the cave, and Naum lied on the ground, looking just as tired as when he left. Although, Gwen had not returned. (Group 1) Kutask would have grinned if he knew how, knowing that his barrier bisected the hand. He then tries to bisect the sand below, to tunnel away with his barriers. He knows he's going to be tracked, but right now, he thinks he can deal with that. |

Heinmir gasped when the intense pain, intenser pain than anything he had felt before, suddenly exploded in his mind, forcing him to his knees without air in his lungs. Images flashed in his mind, he saw Simeira, his home town Wakerem. He saw moments he had shared with Simeira both heated and daily. He remembered every war he had fought on but could not recall their faces, he remembered every friend he had, he remembered everything now. Slowly the pain faded just as the surroundings started to change, slowly becoming that of the cave were they had fought this woman and her tiger. He saw Gwen tiredly getting up on her feet, she must be really beat from their last encounter, it was to be expected though since she had gotten shot through the stomach with her own gun. "You okay?" Heinmir asked as he walked over to her, he knew that the key possessed insane regeneration abilities so she would probably be alright within the minute. "Where's Gwen?" He asked Naum when he noticed that the wisp wasn't here, where could she be? |

Lag had always wondered why did his shadow want to possess him. It had been the same since the first day that he Awakened it. Kitsunes are masters in the art of transforming and of magic. They were accomplished to the degree of having Lords of many places go and seek them out. All but Lag. Unlike his fellow foxes, he could not cast a single flame nor control his transformation. So he diverted to the study of the untraditional magic and decided to go for... Shadow magic, or the branch in charge modifying and controlling things with only the shadow. In other words, an assassins skill. He did not want to kill anybody, but it looked interesting enough, having your own shadow play pranks on other without them knowing. Boy was he foolish... Now he was paying the price by tenfold. Lag breathed deep and let his breath out, as a mighty wind pushed his shadowy counterpart back. The wind continued to blow as he grabbed his staff and dashed towards him, with a stab in motion. The shadow just melted down and disappeared once again. The wind stopped as Lag looked around confused. An arm came out of the shadow of staff and a flying punch to the chin was delivered. Lag was sent to ground as he fell down on his back. The shadow materialized the staff and was beginning to swing it, in the motion of a airslash, in point blank range. Lag, who was out of energy and just wanted to know one thing, one single thing before he died, if he was meant to die. "Why?" He asked. The Shadow stopped and looked at him. "Why do you want to kill me?" "Why you ask? Because you did not think of me as a being, but a thing. Until now, you have kept me trapped and locked down in that confined little space that you call mind! You try to create dominance over me, as you tried to keep your freedom, without paying anything in return!" The Shadow answered as he pointed the staff to the neck. "To have a willful shadow is not a pet. It's a extension that you don't control, that you must take absolute care! You can't control me since you musn't control me!" "And above all... I don't have a name" He finally finished as he lowered his staff. "Never once you thought of a name for me... something that would distinguish me from other shadows...." He said as he stepped away. Both remained silent, as they waited each others reaction group 2 |
