Lag grabbed his staff and said "UP WE GO THEN!" He then kicked the ground and ran... but ran faster than ever before. Was this the power of the key? He lost track of the others and just enjoyed the melody of the wind. Group 2 Edited by Dendyn, Dec 22 2010, 10:58 PM.

Light looked up through the shaft curiously, trying to follow Lag up with his eyes Oh wow..." he pulled out his torch and shook it a few times to power it, then shined it upward "My powers aren't strong enough to climb up a torch beam..." he sighed. "Do you think one of you can fly me up?" he asked Jenoth. Edited by Acclue Lockheart, Dec 22 2010, 11:18 PM.

"Bloody woman, fox, bitch, skank, whore, meat slab..." Heinmir cursed and cursed as he rubbed his eyes while trying to get back up on his feet. He had no idea what had just happened with the exception of him being blinded by that fox woman. Standing wobbly on one knee he shook his head wildly to clear it. He felt no killing presence near him nor any tremors, not that a woman that light could leave any, perhaps she didn't even touch the ground as fast as she had moved to dodge his shield bash. Then it hit him, she used light with her attacks, then what would happen if he used darkness to counter it? He pictured the darkness that resided within his body and how it crept into his eyes, soothing them from the agonizing light and then from there spill out into the world around him in a dome. The others noticed that a pitch black smoke started to pour from Heinmir's eyes, enveloping him and then slowly expand. They couldn't see anything within this dome and destroying it with light would be hard with him pouring so much energy into it. (group 3) |

Naum had stared for only a second, before the heat seemed to subside from around her. The truth of it was, it was all being focused in the one bullet in the chamber, before she pulled the hammer back and let fly, the bullet screaming towards the woman, with a enourmous amount of heat within it. It would simply burn or melt through almost anything, or explode on impact with a lot of force. Either one would suit Naum's purposes, as she started to gather heat around herself again. (Group 3; we'll say that Naum got her shot off before Heinmir darkened the dome completely.) Gwen's wind blast threw the woman off her feet and several feet away. Whilst flying back, she stabbed the ground with one spear and stopped herself. Once the wind stopped and the balls of dark energy were launched, she jumped back and landed on the ground. Spinning her second spear in front of her, she blocked all of Gwen's orbs. She swung the spear back, skidding the blade over the ground, and prepared for a jump; nonetheless, she was shot down worse than a bird. Naum's flaming bullet dashed through the air and smashed into the enemy. The attack exploded into a consuming flame, shooting out the fox woman into the wall. A loud crunch resonated. The darkness shrouded the entire area, blocking the view of the enemy. Naum could not see a thing, and Gwen could only see a vague image of Love eminating from the enemy. Heinmir's counter reduced the length of his daze considerably, so now he could function once more--though only partially. He could see the tiger and its rider easily. The tiger had moved to the woman's side... she seemed to be in a mess. Blood dripped from her mouth and her back was disfigured. Did they win already? The darkness consumed the entire area. A strange safety drifted into Naum's skin and Gwen's spirit. What was this? Their feelings did not match this sensation--if it could even be called that. Knowledge and feelings escaped into the darkness... they seemed to become null and void. Was this Hienmir's element? Gwen, with her massive sensitivity to emotion, could not detect more than the minuscule amount drifting from the opponent. Then gone. A bright light blinded all three for an instant. Within that instant darkness came to light, and all could see. The woman glowed dimly by her tiger. Both spears dangled from her hands. Her light was stronger than any darkness Heinmir could create. The light demolished any remaining darkness in the room... absolute pure light. The rider looked at the other three and shook her head. Her eyes drifted to Naum's gun... could she do the same with that as Heinmir's armor and weapons? ~~~~~ (Group 2) Lag moved faster than anyone had before. His body could take the massive speed perfectly... nimble, yet calculated. Within a few seconds, he reached the top and crashed into an invisible ceiling. Nearly incapciated by the impact, he fell onto a platform attatched to the top of the pillar. At the edge platform, an infinite darkness sat. A side from that, the area was empty. "Yeah. Of course." Jenoth smiled. She grabbed Light and lifted into the air. She moved calmly and gently up, taking nearly a minute to reach the platform above. Upon arrival, she rested Light on the ground. "Huh? This is... strange. Where are we? Oh right... trick question, oh right..." Her hand grabbed her skull. "Why do I keep repeating myself? And... where are w- AH!" She yelled from annoyance. Several deep breaths filled and exited her lungs. (You two can intro Shadow Lag and Dark now.) ~~~~~ (Group 1) Yeria's attack counteracted Voish's. A small explosion and smoke filled the distance between the key-wielders and their opponent. A figure erupted from the top and fell onto the barrier. Voish. He sliced his swords into the shield repeatedly but failed to penetrate. Despite his continual failures, he continued to beat at it. Delfor moved further into the ground, Kutask noticed. The strange creature kept going towards the center of the planet? Before long, Kutask and Yeria began to notice the earth below crumbling. Cracking sounds filled their ears and their feet (and whatever Kutask has) began to sink into the ground. |

A defensive barrier went up around Gwen, Henmir and Naum as gwen started to chant. "Henmir add your power to this spell, you two Naum." She said before continuing to chant, an orb of energy gathering in front of her. |

"YES!" Heinmir exclaimed as he saw the combined attacks from Gwen and Naum beat the fox woman back and throw her into the far end wall. The woman bled from her mouth and Naum's attack seemed to have hit her fatally, would it really be this easy? perhaps the fox woman wasn't that strong, perhaps Heinmir was the only weak one here compared to Naum and Gwen who both wielded strong and dangerous elemental magic. The tiger had moved over to it's wounded master and stood there, as if to guard her but what would that help? she was wounded and blinded thanks to Heinmir's darkness. Then his eyes stung painfully from the sudden explosion of light that came from the fox woman, Heinmir cursed under his breath and quickly closed his eyes tightly and poured some more darkness into them to sooth the searing pain that the light had caused. Gwen's order came clearly to him but he didn't know what to do exactly, just how did you add your power to a spell? His body did what the mind couldn't and gathered all of his magical energy into six tendrils that shot out from his back, each representing a portion of his power and the elements that they could control. One glinted in the light like polished metal in the sun, one burned with hot red flames while another froze the air around it and created snowflakes. The fourth left a trail of dust behind it that got swept up by the fifth whose body spun like a thin tornado and the last was dark and empty like the darkness he had just hid in moments before. Each tendril moved at their own accord and shot into the orb in front of Gwen, linking the orb and Heinmir together as the tendrils quickly fed the spell with his own magical energies. After just a few seconds of donating power to the spell Heinmir begun to sway where he stood on one knee and grew weaker with each passing moment. (group 3) |

(2) Suddenly, a blinding burst of light propelled from Light's chest and shot out into the black void. "Ah!" he held his chest for a second, then released it, realizing it hadn't even caused any actual pain. In a moment, out of the darkness came the black-haired, dark version of Light. He merely floated silently, partially wreathed in tangible, burning darkness that held him aloft as he watched the others on the platform. "Hey... It's him again..." Light said with confused wonder as he looked to his dark counterpart "He saved me before..." |

(Group 1) Kutask realizes finally what is going on - so he concentrates on the barrier while trying to keep their platform stable too. A bridge of rock solidifies under the two so that they can still stand while the dirt around them crumbles. He then gets an idea. Acting on it, he collapses the earth that Voish is standing on, letting him fall into the pit that his ally is making. |

Yeria stopped the assault and made a sphere out of darkness that contained yeria and Kutask for protection and then she began to strengthen the sphere and thought of ways to use the darkness bound powers she had gained with the key. Yeria then began to draw away all the light around their foe so he wouldn't be able to see as well as she then started to try to feel out if he had any "dark" feelings if possible.(1) Edited by Fiskpinne, Dec 29 2010, 08:30 PM.

Naum looked at Gwen oddly for a couple seconds, and poured a massive amount of heat into the orb, drawing on her key's full power for as long as she thought was needed, in this case she kept pouring more power into it even as she poured power into the next round in her gun. Now what. . . (Group three) |

(Group 2) Jenoth watched the two shadowy figures carefully. "I don't think he's here to save you this time, Light." ...When did Light introduce himself to Jenoth? He certaintly did not know her. Her fists tightened, yet she stepped back. "Dark..." She glanced at Dark, not seeming to refer to a name. "Fire." Her gaze shifted to Shadow Lag. Her voice shrinked away so only Light and Lag could hear "That's a coward's way of fighting..." She told herself--apparently knowing something the others did not. The surroundings grew darker with the shadows' pressense, and the temperature rose considerably. ~~~~~ (Group 1) Yeria's sphere grew in size, knocking Voish off Kutask's barrier onto the ground, and then Kutask dropped the ground--taking Voish along with. "Wahhh!" Voish yelped falling down who-know-how-many feet. The area around darkened and collapsed, but the immediate vacinity by Kutask and Yeria remained illuminated and stable. A barrier of shadows and energy protected them, and the firm ground prevented any falls. On the other hand, Kutask lost total track of the other earth-user. Somehow, the platform Kutask had made was floating on nothing; though, that resulted with disconnection to the rest of the ground. Yeria managed to gather some memories from Voish, rather than any dark emotions--or emotion of any kind. A flash of Voish assassinating a seemingly random pedestrian, and another of him destroying an entire village. Yeria... could see the crimes and evils Voish had commited. These flashbacks sparked a small speck of anger inside Yeria. Like the time she received her key, she could not bear to watch evil go unpunished. Except, this time the feeling did not fade once the flashback did. Voish needed to be brought to justice. For the moment, attacks stopped, but Kutask was totally blind. Yeria could sense anything enter the shadows; nonetheless, only dust was floating around. ~~~~~ (Group 3) The rider stood up, despite her broken back and stepped towards the three. Her injuries slowly disappeared and she regained her original graceful form. Wiping away the blood from her face, the enemy picked up both her spears while Gwen's spell charged. While the triple element spell grew in size, the woman drew a glyph in the rock below her. Apparently, Heinmir's spear was sharp enough to slice through metal with no problem. Just about the time Gwen finished her spell, the heiroglyphic was done. The rock-engraved circle shined white; though, the rider didn't seem to do anything. Heinmir lifted his head to look at the enemy, it was hard and his whole body felt heavy and sluggish like it didn't want to move or rather that it couldn't move. The woman was drawing something in the rock, what he couldn't tell through his blurry vision and tired eyes. He would be empty of magic to lend to Gwen soon and he would probably, no he would be completely unable to fight if this failed, he had given too much energy to this spell. One by one the tendrils crumbled and disappeared as his magical energy was depleted, first the tendril of darkness evaporated, then the tendril of fire, closely followed by the tendril of ice and earth, shortly after them came the tendril of wind and lastly the tendril of glinting metal corroded and fell to the ground like rusty snow. "That is all I can... give" Heinmir said tiredly before falling face first into the ground, to tired to even stay up on his knees. (group 3) |

Dark merely stared, not speaking a word until the shadowy wreath enveloped him completely. (Group 2) Jenoth stared at Lag's shadow copy for a few moments. A couple of silent seconds hung in the air, but that silence ended quickly. Dark teleported somehow and tackled Light from behind. The two entered the darkness. An uncomfortable burning sensation covered Light's body, and Light crash into solid soil with Dark still on top. The blackness owned a smokey appearance and lacked uniformity; moreover, Light could see reasonably through the lack of light. Still, his vision was impaired. Jenoth and Lag remained on the top of the pillar. Jen prepared for an attack--more like put herself into the best fighting stance she could. "Lag, watch it." As if that needed saying. (*gives Den the cue*) ~~~~~ (Group 3) The woman smirked at her enemies pathetic attemps; though, that smirk transformed to an expression of awe and horror when Gwen's nuetralizing spell hit. The glyph dimmed and Naum's bullet blew through the person's chest. The impact definately broke a few bones. That alone stopped her in her tracks, but the combo spell posed the worst problem of all. Without issue, the attack hit. The combination of the three elements resulting in solid burning sphere of decay. Heinmir's part crushed the woman under massive weight and strength. Naum's added massives burns, and Gwen brought in the aspect of speed, severely reducing any chance of dodging, and plauges, causing severe weakening to the opponent. The combined attack crushed and melted the rock underneath, before turning into dust and blowing away. The sphere dissapated leaving a crater which consumed half of the center. The hole stretched fifteen yards in length and steeped around eight. Despite this horror, the tiger stayed back, merely watching. The love element faded from the room. Gwen noticed specifically, but Heinmir and Naum could tell that the light had disappated in the room. Down at the center of the crater lied a horrifically wounded... thing. All of her clothing had been burned away... but there wasn't much to cover. Most of her face had been burned away, leaving bare bone. Her arms and legs were rotten slabs of meat and her body was a broken in practically every sense, not to mention the black third degree burns covering all of her. But... she was still breathing. The bone fingers scratched the rock ground. A dull light resonated from her body. Within a few moment, her flesh had regrown and all of her clothing returned, minus the hat. Bones moved back into place and rejoined firmly. The practical immortal stood up and growled towards the others. The last spell had left Heinmir and Naum quite drained. While Gwen owned a much thicker magic supply, without a recharge for the others, they could not possibly produce a spell strong enough to completely destroy the woman. She seemed invincible... by all standards. On the other hand, the light had not returned to the room. Was that progress? The woman resummoned her spear, but only hers. Apparently, she could not reform the weapon she has stolen--such as Heinmir's spear. With her free hand, she signed a few sentences. Her mere disposition and attitude gave away the fact she was quite pissed. She motioned to her head... apparently that hat was important to her and she could not resummon that either. With much speed, she redrew the glyph from earlier; furthermore, she used her claw and light to create the symbol in the air. The three had only several seconds to make a counter. ~~~~~ (Group 1) With his mass control of earth and barriers, Kutask could easily travel down the small platform and towards the bottom. Although, he quickly found out that the bottom was sea of sand. A sea that had dropped hundreds of yards... maybe even a thousand. A direct-contact fall would kill him without question. Though... that might mean that Voish died on the fall. Yeria could find nothing in the darkness, but a another flash sparked her mind. Voish killed a working man in his office. The memory originated from way below, but she could not determine exactly where. To find her opponent, she would need to follow after Kutask. |

Kutask uses his barrier and his earth powers to bring the sand up to slow his fall. The small, personal barrier also protects him from simply being skewered on the long point of sand. Once stopped, he makes a hole for his claw and pokes it through, into the sand, to sense anything. |

(2) "Oof!" Light was still shocked as he hit the ground and Dark raised a claw that gathered the tangible shadow around it as if about to strike "What... are you?!" Light shouted, writhing his arm free from Dark's grasp and physically holding the claw back as it went down. He quickly summoned a torrent of water between them and propelled the doppelganger into the air, where he disappeared into shadow. Light quickly got to his feet and took out his torch, waving it around frantically and following in search of his assaulter. He just seemed to have disappeared. He looked up and shouted "Jenoth! Lag! H-Help?!" |

Shadow Lag and Lag ran at the same time and in the same pose. Attacks were connected as if they were a mirror. All of which were cancelled. No attacks seemed to connect. Or not? The fire blazed and burned all of the wind and burned little by little Lag. Flames and gust of winds danced here and there while Lag seemed to dance. Lag speed boost was more than enough to evade the flames, but Shadow's Lag flame attacks were getting more accurate by the second. "KINDA BUSY HERE!" Lag and Shadow Lag screamed as they evaded a roundhouse kick and delivered a thrust, and blocking it. Lag jumped to the air, only to find that Shadow Lag was behind him all along. They knew each other movements! group 2 Edited by Dendyn, Jan 10 2011, 05:09 PM.

Heinmir panted hard and heavily where he lay, unable to summon up any magical strength to aid them in this fight, he cursed under his breath. Had they already failed? how were they to beat this immortal being who had survived the combined attack of all three of them at the same time? Slowly he moved his tired body and brought himself up to his knees. There he stood swaying back and forth as he tried his best to just stay still but his body wouldn't listen to him. "Why?..." He asked lowly and coughed, the cough bringing a sensation of metal in his mouth. "Why are you doing this? Are you like that Nekotite? fighting only for the sake of fighting? Do you have a cause for this? are you forced by anyone?" He fell forward but stopped himself from hitting the ground by bracing himself with his arms. "ARE YOU A SLAVE ONLY DOING WHAT THE MASTER SAYS?" he yelled, finding himself getting angrier and angrier with each passing moment. He clenched his fists tightly, feeling the nails digging into the skin of his palms. Suddenly all armor he had on him crumbled and fell to the floor as metallic dust. |

"You should have stayed down." Gwen said as a barrier formed in front of the group as she summoned a ball of black flame and dropped it on the ground, the very dirt burning as the flames burned towards the woman. "naum, get close to henmir." |

"When you surf with sharks you may not get bitten... but don't act like it was an unforeseen tragedy when you do." Interpretation may be the father of all beliefs, but Assumption is the mother of all fuckups. I should know, I'm a prime example... "In life we get to pick our poisons, may as well pick the fun one." "The mechanic of the sequence; the power to progress, We have no time to waste; no time to relax, The passion of beginning; it's the pleasure of the end, It's watching things we initiate to a state we never meant." ~chorus from Mechanic of the Sequence by Neuroticfish. | |

Yeria begins to follow Kutask down and she is still trying to sense something and being very alert about attacks that might come, she didn't want to get ambushed or anything, she was scared enough as it is. She descended the massive distance forming an orb of energy around her that slowed her fall considerably after freefalling a bit. (1) Edited by Fiskpinne, Jan 11 2011, 05:24 PM.

She walked next to him, and aimed her pistol not at the woman, but at the feline 'pet' that she rode. Before firing a round, with only a little fire magic in it, at the tiger. (group three) |

(Group 3) Naum's shot bounced off harmlessly. An ordinary bullet could not possibly pierce through armor like that. Heinmir's plead to the woman went unheard. Nothing any of them said seemed to register. Was she deaf too? Between her and the key-wielders, no good communication was possible. On the other hand, Naum's assualt on the pet was taken into account. The opponent looked back at her friend with some worry and then glared at the shooter. A finger raised at Naum, as if to say she was first. In the meantime, she completely ignored the large fireball rolling towards her. The glyph brightened and the spear-wielder pointed to herself, infering clearly "my turn." A flash covered the room. Within an instant, a gunshot sounded. Naum's gun hung in front of her for a second and fired, sending the gun to the ground and an unavoidable bullet at Naum. That same instant, Heinmir had been slammed painfully into the ground. Four slices marred his face. Two landed on either side of his right eye and the other two hit below his left and near his nose. Still the same second, Gwen was shot into the wall sternly. The woman hung into the air where Gwen hovered earlier. The glyph was gone. The spell gave the anthro the speed of light, even for a few seconds. Once the spell activated, she rushed directly at Naum, and, without hesitation, this Light-user grabbed Naum's gun hand. She pulled Naum forward and kicked the key-wielder in the stomach whilst pulling the gun. Instantly, the weapon and its master had been separated. The enemy turned the gun to Naum and pulled the trigger. Instead of waiting for the gun to fire, she released the weapon and rushed to Heinmir. She greeted him with a simple fist to the face, then a spin kick to the gut, and finally clawed him in the face. The clawing attack left her to the Durask's left, so she turned her right foot around and took the force of that motion to spin her whole body. Following that motion, she used her clawed hand to ram into Heinmir's vulnerable neck and throw him directly to the ground. Her speed continued within which she jumped at Gwen. With the jump, her knee lambasted Gwen in the chin. The opponent hung a few feet higher than Gwen, despite the impact. She used her hands to push on Gwen's head and the push spun the Light-wielder on a vertical-axis backward. In that spin, she smashed the back of her foot into the back of Gwen's head and followed with another smash by using the spear on the same spot. Once landed on the ground, she bounced back at Gwen. Gwen received a nasty shoulder tackle, and, during the attack, light swiftly burst out. Within moment, the Wind-user found herself in the wall. On the bright side, the woman's speed returned to normal while she dropped to the ground. On the dim side, the immortal had not finished, and, after those last hits, none of them could possibly counter or dodge. She clawed her wrist. Blood rushed into her hand. What could she be doing? This would the first time any of the enemies have hurt themselves intentionally; nonetheless, she let her arm bleed until her hands were covered. With no rhyme or reason, she splashed the liquid in front of herself, but the reason soon became apparent. The blood landed on an invisible solid. She wiped one hand vertically done that solid and the other horizontally. A bloody cross formed. Soon enough, a cross of light appeared on the wall in which Gwen was smashed. Her arms spread out unnaturally and her entire body drooped from the air. Unnoticeable to the others, Gwen's body screamed in pain. The pain from the sudden hints hurt enough, but the cross etched massive ache into her. In every sense, Gwen felt physical agony. Despite her ethereal body, the sensation of rigged blades, blunt weapons, and sharp pins covered every fiber she owned. Worse than all of these, her mouth inexplicably became sealed. The one time she actually experienced more pain than imaginable, she couldn't actually scream to express her agony. In all unfairness, the magic flow in Gwen became null and void. She could not summon a single spell... nothing. No words, no spells, and all pain. Her body couldn't even move the slightest bit. Gwen hung on the wall while tied to that object. These series of ridiculous attack did not come without price. The rider's breath moved speedily and her arms hung lazily down. Her entire body seemed lackadaisical. The spells must have drained a lot of energy, for she couldn't her hold her spear anymore. The pointed object simply dropped to the floor. ~~~~~ (Group 2) Lag and his Shadow fought relentlessly, while Light's scream for help echoed in the air. Jenoth stood mesmerized by the flurry of mirrored attack. "Yeah... I see that," She muttered to herself. Taking note of Light's yell and forgetting any common sense, she jumped into the shadows at the outside of the platform. "Light!? Where are you?" The shadows blocked her view, so she could not possibly find the Atlantean by mere sight. "Answer me Light!" Her words could be easily heard through much of the darkness. Poor Lag... left all alone. ~~~~~ (Group 1) Kutask landed safely on the sand plain and Yeria followed shortly thereafter. Kutask could detect movement in the sand. Something moved nearby--no, movement in the opposite direction--no more directly below Kutask. Taking a few moments, Kutask realized that the entire pile of sand moved, and, for that reason, Kutask's natural radar was jammed. Even his abilities to mold the ground was weakened. Kutask's key did not give him much power over dead earth, so he would have to rely on his other abilities to fight. Unfortunately, the location of Delfor would remain a mystery. Once Yeria landed, she felt more anger creep inside herself. More memories of Voish's crimes billowed. He murdered a family, destroyed houses and skyscrapers, and killed innocent children. What kind of man was this? He was Justice, right? So then, how could the very essence of Justice be so incredibly crooked? The memories determined Voish's current location. He was ascending through the sand directly towards Yeria and Kutask. Within an instant, he jumped out from the dusty ground and swiped down at Yeria. Two waves of dark energy flew at her from the weapons, so she had the swords and the energy to protect herself from. Edited by Trinity-Dragon, Jan 12 2011, 01:25 AM.
