Yeria fell towards the spikes and she flailed in the air panicking. She didn't really know what to do while the spiked floor approached faster and faster. She did the first thing that came in mind and that was blasting a large shock wave of destruction down to destroy the spikes at least. She hoped it would work (3)

Naum frowned as she stared at the chains, and walked up to the person who was chained up.
"Every word you have just spoken. Is a lie. . ."
"Break free of your chains, break free of your lies. See the truth that stares you in your face. Hold the truth dear, and let go of your lies. . ." she says firmly, stopping right in front of the chained being.

Lag cursed his new wisdom. Lag had won over his Shadow as he saw Light scream something, but now he needed to think fast. He used a wind barrage to dodge his hand by going sideways. Then, he casted a tornado in the lava. "Quick! Gather all of the water into the tornado and we'll create a water cannon!" He said as he looked at Light and as he felt the clock tick and tick . He looked at Light as he hoped that he could read lips, because he had ringing in his ear that he couldn't shake off.

Heinmir blocked the daggers and stopped a large portion of the tidal wave, while Gwen's attack literally parted the water. The tidal waves splashed on either side of her, but she was left harmless. The water pooled on the ground, and the water level reached foot deep. The water didn't seem to be diminishing.

"You're... running out of tricks..." The mangled beast stepped forward. "But... I've only begun!" It lifted its hands to the air. "Trin-Nore-Nur!" A breeze circled around the beast and the water enveloped a small dome around it. With a splash, the dome exploded. What Heinmir and Gwen saw struck fear and anger into their hearts.

The creature had fully healed, but it had completely changed shapes. In fact, the figure was indentical to Jenoth's. That was Jenoth. The eyes reflected determination, locking upon Heinmir. "You end is nigh." The voice didn't match, though. "Jenoth" looked at her hands. "This is yet a mysetery..." Despite claiming that Heinmir would die soon, she seemed quite distracted with her own form. On the bright side, that gave Heinmir a chance to recover and Gwen a moment to get out of her cage--or at least try. Heinmir could probably break the cage.

Meanwhile, Naum continued to deal with the chained dragon. "Lie?" She tilted her head. "I don't understand." Apparently, Naum would have to show those lies blatantly. Naum would have to explain the truth. Now, how to tell the dragon her name? How to show her that this place is not great?

(Group 2)

Light negated the fire and Lag dodged the hand. Even so, they were running out of time. They had a little more than two minutes--the lava really beginning to heat up the cave. Temperatures rose to nearly 100 degress. The bone beast didn't let up either. More flames and another swipe were thrown at the two. Despite this chaos, Light caught something through his calm. Even though he can't hear, he felt a heartbeat. That was the same heartbeat from when he fought the first bone... thing. Randomly breaking bones and pieces of the monster did not work last time. Sure, it caused pain, but the being survived. With such a time limit, finding that heartbeat seemed like the best option. That, or they could try to stop the lava all-together. Light quickly noticed the tornado and could infer that as an attack. But, he would have to block the fire and then attack. Lag would also need to dodge the swipe, while maintaining that tornado.

~~~~~
(Group 3)
Yeria's shockwave worked perfectly. The blast ravished the spikes; in addition, the blast itself detered the flying disc. Instead of hitting Yeria, it impaled itself into the walling of the hole. Yeria safely landed on flat ground. As she did, though, the pit closed in instantly. She had no time to escape...
The hole became shallow while the earth held Yeria tightly. She could not wiggle out. The blade of the angel stopped right in front of the Pikachu. "You're finished." Just as it was about to swing its sword into her head, Kutask rammed the barrier. However... he passed right through. The angel, ceasing his attack, turned to Kutask and stared at him. "What the...?" He seemed utterly confused... and he left himself wide open for an attack from Yeria. Even if she couldn't move... her magic could.
Kutask had passed one barrier. Now he only had need to pass one more. As it would happen... he could also pass directly through that barrier.
Light's eyes grew wide as he used all the energy he could muster to summon water right in front of the flaming attack, and swept it into the tornado while shouting "The heart is in the bones somewhere! Aim for the heart!"
Heinmir shook his head roughly and blinked repeatedly to clear his blurry vision in which he could only see the vague shape of Jenoth. Frustrated he balled his hand into a tight fist a smacked himself hard on the side of his face, strangely enough this cleared his vision and the pain left him as well.
Stumbling up on his feet he dashed towards the cage that held Gwen prisoner, kicking his way through the foot deep water while charging up a new ice spell that he drew from the ice mountain behind him. He struck out with his right hand and sent a blast of ice onto the cage that exploded into a heavy snow cloud that covered only the cage bars.
Summoning a two-handed hammer into his hands as he drew close to the cage he swung it back, gathering strength in his arms and then yelled at the top of his lungs as he swung it overhead and struck the frosted cage. The cage bars exploded into hundreds of metal shards that flew all around Gwen and Heinmir, creating a large opening in the cage that Gwen easily could fit through.
"Bring that creature down but avoid lightning attacks! they could fry us as well as it!" He yelled just as he spun around and tossed the over-sized hammer towards the dragon. The throw had to surprise even the dragon for a man with Heinmir's size could not have thrown a hammer that large with that kind of power or that far for that matter, for the hammer flew straight towards the dragon, gaining speed as it went and a ominous orange light started to pour from the hammerhead from dozens of cracks and the dragon felt the power of fire within it.
Yeria shot out six tendrils of darkness two of them would impale his arms, two his legs and the last two would hold his wings all of the tendrils would then extend and press over his heart and head ready to impale on any given provocation. yeria was not happy being dug into the ground.
Gwen nodded before flying up into the air. Green and black energies started to gather around her, forming a semi-transparent sphere of energy. "Prepare to meet your end demon..." she said as a pulse of energy could be felt by Henmir and the creature. The ten foot wide sphere of energy suddenly shrunk to the size of a marble, which hovered between her hands. "SA KITHO TE NITHOS!" She yelled out as the ball exploded forth, riight at the demon. Upon impact there was a bright flash of light as the ground was ripped apart by the explosion.
Naum looked at Jenoth a little angrily.
"Jenoth, you aren't even fooling yourself." she says, looking into her eyes.
"Is this what you really want? To be trying to kill your friends who are the only thing you have? Is that what you really want, or is that what the lies tell you? The lies so apparent that you aren't fooled by them." she says firmly.
"You know what!? SCREW YOU!" Lag said as he increased the tornados force and threw themselves to the side, in an attempt to dodge the swipe, as well as throwing the water tornado to the lava. He could see Light scream and pointed at something at the chest. He created a new tornado to maintain their balance
He looked at the chest and sent a windslash to that chest, hoping to see what could happen.
Jenoth glared at Naum. "Friends..." She shook her head. "No, you're lying to me. They are my enemies. They are nothing but a threat to this world!" Of course, what world? Afterall, everything was destroyed. "Get out of my head... leave!" She shouted at Naum. This was going to take some time...
"Tch..." The dragon grit her teeth. She apparently did not expect for both Heinmir and Gwen to resist so well. "You are tough. But I am tougher." The beast took a step back. "Nore-Sre!" Those names again. These seemed to be incantations... but of names? A large lance covered one of her hands. Water swirled around the weapon, and, when the dragon counterattacked the hammer, the liquid impacted with the fire. The hammer dropped to the ground with a massive hole through the middle. The lance was destroyed beyond repair, so the dragon tossed the item. The two elements canceled each other as well.
Gwen flew up to height and charged her attack, but the beast had prepared for such on-slaught. "Kesh-Tra." As Gwen's attack fell into the ground, an earthern sphere encapsulated the dragon. Gwen's attack ripped the ground beyond shreds. Either the ground was weaker than first though, or Gwen was just that strong. The explosion failed to lead to any sort of dust cloud or smoke, so visability came quickly. A massive crater had formed in the ground. Fifteen yards (meters) across and many yards deep. Fortunately, Heinmir avoided any injury or concussion from that blast--though he was so close, he should have.
At the center of that crater, a creature lay face first. She did not seem to receive any of Gwen's attack... however many shards of what-looked-like glass were impaled into her. The cuts were severe, but the injuries were far worse than that. Blood pooled under her. Eventually, the shards faded; nonetheless, the wounds remained. Despite the massive out-pouring of life (the blood), the being managed to stay alive. One hand move slightly, trying to grip something--anything. Heinmir still knew the battle was not over. He had a strange feeling that the battle might go on a long time, but, looking at a creature who survived such an attack, one could come up with that conclusion anyways.
"I... won't lose..." The creature muttered weakly. She tensed and began to push herself to her feet. "Trin..." The beast spit blood from her mouth, while her wounds closed up. "Tros..." She took a step forward, beginning a climb up the crater. She should not have survived at attack; for death's sake, she did not even own a key. Obviously, the monster was getting power from an outside source.
Gwen continued to sense the pain and sorrow inside the dragon.
~~~~~

(Group 2)

Again, the water-wind pair avoided the attacks completely. Nothing unexpected hit them, either.

The water tornado cooled of a large portion of the lava, reducing the temperature for a moment; however, more lava continued to fill up the cavern. That attack spared them only a few more seconds.

Lag's wind slash hit the chest bone of the creature but caused no damage, whatsoever. Lag began to realize all of his attacks were pratically useless. His wind attacks could do no damage to this boney lava beast, and Shadow Lag's fire attack could be controlled by the enemy. His offense lacked severely. The speed of wind seemed to be his only advantage. Light sat in the neighboring boat. Granted, he could temporarily counteract the lava and possibly damage the bones, but what did that matter? The monster needed to die. NOW.

The beast's chest area was quite enclosed; though, that seemed to be the only place on the body protected as such. That fact suggested the heart was there. Now, how to pierce through the chest. Whatever they did, the two needed to hurry. Barely more than a minute remained and the heat was becoming unbearable. Tick tock.

~~~~~
(Group 3)
Kutask passed through the second barrier easily. Before he realized, he was next to the angel. No colisions, nothing. Even nicer, Yerai had pratically disabled the winged being. The tendrils caused bleeding wounds in the arms and legs. They also happened to receive great grip on the wings.
"That was a mistake," The angel growled sternly. A sphere appeared around the angel, cutting all six tendrils immediately. They quickly burnt up. When the angel dropped the ground, the hole holding Yeria spit her up. With sway of the hand, a metal sword shot at Yeria and pierced into her head. The force behind the sword sent her into the nearest tree... therefore, catching the blade on the tree.
Despite the mortal wound, she was fully concious. That attack didn't even hurt that much. However, she was pinned to the tree and her body was quite limp. Apparently, a brain injury still affected her physical strength. The angel wobbled on its damaged legs. The wounds did not seem to heal at all, so, instead, the creature took to the air, hovering just above the ground. "I see I can't kill you normally..." The creature drifted away from Yeria--realizing her advantage in close quarters. "But... if you should happen to fall into many pieces..." A saw, an axe, and a mace appeared around the angel. All of them were pure metal.
At this rate, Yeria would be mince meat. As Kutask watched, he could not help but think of Jenoth. She was even killed with a head wound, much like Yeria's. Was this to happen again? Was Kutask supposed to sit by and watch another death?
"This needs to end now!" Heinmir yelled, he was exhausted, his head pounded and made it hard for him to concentrate at times as his vision went blurry for a few seconds at a time. The dragon was tough physically and countered every elemental attack he had made against it and on top of that it could also use ever aspect of the key's powers, even those he didn't possess. But what if he could use his powers better than the dragon could?
With a very hastily thrown together plan he dashed towards the hole and summoned dozens of heavy spears above it, all having their tips pointing at the climbing dragon. He swiped his arm to catch the air trailing behind it and used that to create an air explosion just above each spear and send them racing towards the dragon, each with enough force and weight behind them to wound it fatally. But that wasn't enough, he knew that it would somehow counter most of his spears so he did the most reckless thing he had thought of since he got here, he jumped into the crater, straight towards the dragon. Through the thick forest of his spears he could see the dragon, limply climbing the crater wall with blood running on the side of it's mouth. This would be the last attack for him, after this his magic would be spent entirely. A massive two handed hammer appeared in his hands, it's head looked like an over-sized tenderizer. Magical energies poured from the hammer but the dragon couldn't pick out any single element in it instead it found five in it. Water, air, fire, earth and the strongest of them all was the unholy energy that practically gushed in an unstable stream from the hammer head, something bad would probably happen if the dragon got hit by that hammer but then the same could be said if it got hit by those spears, the barbs on those heads would make it risky to pull them out.
Heinmir found himself smiling despite the situation, he was not certain that he would win but the sheer heart pumping suspense, the thrill of being close to death and fighting for survival brought an immense satisfaction to him. This is where he belonged, in battle. His smile turned into an evil grin as he lifted the heavy hammer and from his throat came a loud bloodthirsty roar as he brought the hammer down towards the dragon and to it's dismay it found that Heinmir couldn't only make copies of his lance but also of this hammer as the single hammer turned into five.
(Angel goes boom headshot)
Yeria Is surprised as hell as she clearly thought she was going to die from having a sharp pointy object rammed trough her head. She saw the angel withdrawing and she was surprised but she tried one last thing at least.
She sent out a large clawed hand made out of the darkness towards the angel, She put all her effort into this. That darkness would not be abolished easily.
Kutask feels a slight phantom dread, but that is overwhelmed by the anger. He gets in the way of the angel and unleashes a SCREECH that splits eardrums, part rage, part fear, part...something. Something he hadn't felt since the humans happened upon his queen, what felt like ages ago.
The need to protect, no matter the cost. He already had an ally's blood on his claws. He didn't need another's...he would not let her die so easily...and not at all if he could help it.
Gwen growled a bit. "Stop Henmir." she said, her voice sounded odd, (think as if someone ran it through a vocoder) "I will cage the beast." She said and landed on the ground, slapping her palm against whatever it was made of. Black and dark green lines shot towards the dragon, surrounding it and forming a spell circle. "Si kara da nthra Resh..." she muttered as a freezing whirlwind whipped up just outside of the circle, the winds actually digging into the ground a bit. "Ka tena ni sa mokuri." she continued as black energy formed a cage around the dragon. Gwen's fur pattern was now all black, her tattoos indistinguishable from her normal fur. "Henmir, contribute or my body will not hold out long enough." Gwen said in that strange voice. "Contain but do not kill. I believe Jenoth is in there, as much as I'd like to just obliterate it I cannot, we will need her later, we must find a way to end this meddler and save Jenoth."
Lag thought for minute there. Speed but no strength was wind main problem. While being the most fast element, it has no offense capabilities.
But what about water?... What about a water slash?
"Light I have an idea!" Lag said as he finally felt his own ears recovering bit by bit. "High pressure water would be able to cut through the bone and into the heart of the dragon!!"
Light was still deafened by the creature's roar, and hardly heard Lag's advice, but he was getting desperate, and he knew that he had to do something drastic if he was going to stop the lava.
He didn't think to make watery blades, but he unleashed a streaming torrent of violently pressurized water right down on the bone creature, hoping it would not only do some damage, but flow out and quell the rising lava around it as well.
Heinmir's five obliteration hammers came towards the dragon like the hand of death himself, that was what Heinmir had planned it to be until he heard Gwen shouting that she wanted it contained. Was she mad? contain it just so that it could attack them again? Heinmir would have no strength left and be completely at the dragon's mercy. Still the hammer fell towards the dragon, just a few second from impact and with it this would be over, the struggle would be over.
"Screw you witch, Screw you and your plans!" Heinmir suddenly shouted and let go of the hammer that instantly faded away, all five of them disappeared from view. With the last of his willpower he used some of the magic contained within his hammer to change the course of his spears. Almost every single spear tip suddenly veered off course and melded together into iron shackles that smoothly fell over the dragon's limbs and slammed shut around them. From the shackle's heavy chain sat a heavy spear that bore down into the ground, holding the dragon in place.
Suddenly he went limp just before he struck the ground, his metal armor ringing loudly from the impact leaving his lungs empty of air. He gasped, desperately trying to get air down his throat to fill his empty lungs but his chest would not heave. The short gasps turned into a full out scream when his head was suddenly assailed by a head splitting pain that rendered his vision completely black. His head was tearing apart, his hands clutched it tightly to keep it together and sweat flowed down his face. He screamed until his lungs were empty and then held his breath in an attempt to cope with the immense pain. On some level he knew that this would have happened, this is what had awaited him yet still he had gone past his limits to help the witch. Rendered completely helpless by the throes of pain he would be an easy victim to the dragons bloodlust should it escape from the two cages.
"Ahhh!" The angel plugged his ears in pain, raising a spherical barrier. The sphere managed to hold back the claw, barely. "This is the last time! You will die!" He ignored Kutask completely and a sent huge quake at Yeria. Right as the attack passed by Kutask, everything became suddenly quiet. The quake had been completely stopped. "Wha..."
A massively bright light floated down from the heavens. That light stopped in front of Kutask. Yeria's claw suddenly retreated back to her, and the angel's barrier randomly vanished. Neither could attack.
While Yeria and then angel could not look at the light, Kutask saw right through. No more sitting by, boy. No more watching by the side lines. A strong voice called out to him. Determination surrounded the sliver. Stand!
And, not just stand for yourself, A softer one spoke. Stand for your loved ones, the dead and the living. You waited patiently, now here's your just reward. Confidence filled Kutask's soul.
The light fell upon Kutask. He was surrounded by a surplus of emotion. No one would die on his watch, never again. No enemy could oppose him, no opponent stand against, nor any person break. As the light bent around Kutask, he could feel power consume him. Slowly the brightness dimmed to reveal an armored sliver. A grey tinted sheet of metal run down his entire body, and a key was embedded below his face. And... another key? This was one attached near Kutask's claw.
Kutask could still detect his surroundings. It was as if... the armor was a part of him. His own flesh. The metal was flexible and light; in fact, Kutask could move around easier now. Physical strength and magical capabilities became a part his being. He could feel fire, water, and wind flowing through his veins; however, earth was different. He no longer felt earth, ground, gravel, or whatever the term may be. The earth had become a part of him, and he a part of the earth. He could sense the movements of rock and soil, he could control it as it were his own body. In addition, the power of defense crowded his mind. He could make a wall out of nothing. Glass-like. Morphable yet sturdy.
The angel flew backwards carefully. "Heh... heh..." Fear crept on his face. "Heheheh..." A nervous laugh.
Congratulations. A clap echoed in Yeria's mind. You did what you could. You fought past your last breath. You fought when you couldn't anymore. Now sit back and enjoy the show... watch him suffer! She had never heard this voice before.
(Group 2)
The water blast smashed into the chest bone with a loud snap. The bone creature stumbled backwards, while cracking sounds echoed from its chest. Light's attack was working! Against the creature, that is. The lava was still rising. Forty seconds remained and Light could not hope to create enough water to counteract the molten rock.
To their misfortune, a huge wall of fire stood up in between them and the monster. The fire replenished fast enough to evaporate all of Light's water before it reached the enemy. Thirty seconds. Lag knew that staying at his location wouldn't work. They would have to draw closer to the beast and attack at point-blank, but... that would mean going directly through the fire. Ever since he started fighting the lizard, Lag has had the worst luck with fire, and his luck only grew worse.
(Group 1)
The dragon stopped in its tracks. "Heheheh..." She grabbed the frozen cage. "Glith-Sysh. Burn in the grave!" A massive flame covered the outside of the cage instantly. Within moment, the cage was melted away. "Tros-Sre-Vuel. Decay in hell." The chains of Heinmir's weapon grew instantly old. The beast ripped out from the chains. "Doesn't matter, you were going to die any-" Her speech feel strangely short.
After speaking, Naum noticed a couple of the chains hold Jenoth shake. "I don't have a name. This world is my home. It is just... it just..." A chain suddenly broke. Several to go. "The world died. The real world is gone! So what? This place is my home now... it's safe here. I don't have to worry about anyone ruining it," Jenoth reasoned. "And, so what if I have a name, not like it matters. I'm just a servant watching over this land..." Her logic was starting to falter. "I'm no one!"
Jenoth sounded sure of herself, but Naum knew she was wrong. Naum knew of seven people who lived past the end of the world. They survived and were given keys. Power beyond imagination. If they were no one, then why were they here? Why did that happen upon this place and why are they fighting for their lives? Jenoth was somebody important, just as the others were, but lies clouded her view.
Back with the other two key-wielders, the monster shook its head carefully. Gwen could sense some of the emotion release from the beast; furthermore, she could detect Naum's presence in the creature's mind. The truth began to shine and so the lies started the decline. "Errrr..." The monster growled angrily. "Your life ends now!" It jumped back and flew into the air. "Tros-Glith-Sysh-Sal-Vuel..." The longest incantation yet. A massive power surge shrouded the beast. Gwen sensed immense danger... that kind of buildup of power. That was like her own.
Heinmir knew that everything would work out. Yes, the dragon seemed to be making an attack that would kill him, and, yes, he and Gwen were utterly ravished of energy. His heart may not have agreed with his mind, but, just from previous experience, this battle would end well. Still, he couldn't relax. That was obvious.
Dammit... Gwen though as she released the whirlwind if i can just protect him long enough for Naum to finish... the key... She thought as she took it off from around her neck. "Resh ta keru de kathra, si no me...." Gwen continued to chant as she walked to Henmir's side, drawing every ounce of energy out of the key that she could, and adding her last remaining dregs of energy to it. A barrier shimmered to life around the two, green streaked with black. As Gwen finished chanting she fell to her knees. Henmir could see her cough up blood. "Damn..." she said "I suppose this is the end for me..."
um... who are you?
yeria tried to communicate with the voice that she hadn't heard before and she was totally exhausted from unleashing that claw and couldn't do much else then being nailed there and watching what happened. (3)
{Shield your eyes, electric one,} Kutask says to Yeria, then closes his eyes and stirs up a dust cloud with his new powers. His plan? Blind the attacker and still sense him - through his connection to the earth. Further, he forms a sphere around Yeria to protect her - just in case.
Heinmir could hardly hear anything above the sound of his own breaths as he laid there on the ground in the bottom of the crater, twisting in pain for having used too much magical energy. A bright flash of light above him caught his attention and through his blurry vision he saw that the dragon tore through not only Gwen's cage but also his own shackles. Was it really that hopeless? was it a mistake to even have agreed with Gwen's plan?
The dragon hesitated, it's speech cut short. Just why it had stopped didn't dawn for Heinmir until after a few head throbbing moments had passed, was it trying to figure out just how he was going to be killed? did the sight of him writhing on the ground satisfy it this much?
Suddenly he felt himself being surrounded by magic, a warm feeling that made him feel safe. hearing a soft thud beside him drew his attention to a dark shadow sitting beside him. Blinking rapidly he found himself looking up at Gwen's face, blood dripping from the corner of her mouth.
"Damn...I suppose this is the end for me" She coughed but her voice barely made it to his ears.
Heinmir tried to move but was only rewarded with pain. He bit his lower lip in frustration, why was he so worthless in a situation like this? Then a familiar feeling crept up within him, a feeling of safety, a conviction that told him that they were going to live through this, he relaxed visibly and closed his eyes. Slowly he felt the world around him disappear until it suddenly vanished with a twitch as he lost consciousness.
Lag looked at the lava and his tornado. There was no time for another attack, nor any other trickplay. This was their last chance if they wanted to kill that beast and hope to the Wind that the lava went down.
He had an idea. He just hoped that Light saw the opportunity. He created a wind current in such a way that he sucked part of the fire, creating a hole in which Light could pass... And right to the chest.
Light looked down, releasing his grip on the watery torrent and opened his eyes wide. It was as if a moment of clarity passed over him once again when he saw the opening between the flames. He took in a calming breath and said quietly "Water, guide me..." as he let go of Lag.
He dropped down through the eye of the whirling flames and manifested a monolithic icy spear so massive that he wasn't so much holding it as standing on top of it, and plummeted straight down onto the monster's chest.
"You are not a nobody. You are important, because you are here! If you weren't important, you would have been gone, just like the rest." Naum cried out, thinking of everyone she had left behind. You are your own master, not some servant doing some little bastard's bidding!"
Naum was fuming, and she went on further with "This world would be safe, if you weren't attacking people right and left. Your friends no less. You ought to be defending us, not trying to kill the only people you still know on this little world."
The angel made no use of hesitation. A spherical barrier, much like the one protecting Yeria, formed around him. The dust cloud bounced of the barrier harmlessly. "Try harder," it instigated.
While Yeria communicated with the voice, she could feel the sword loosen. Suddenly, she dropped to the bottom of the sphere that shielded her, and the sword landed beside her. The weapon's blade had been eaten through by an black liquid. It seemed to be acid. She then could feel the hole closing to her head wound; however, she still could not move. I am your new best friend. The voice replied. I'm sure you know that the rules have been broken. Anyways, you will get see me soon enough. A pause. By the way, congratulations at surviving your second death. First suffication... and now a blow to the head. Not too shabby for a beginner. Those words hit Yeria pretty hard. She had died? Twice?
Despite the hole in the wall, the flames managed to lick Light. He received severe burns onthe outside of his arms and legs; otherwise, he was fine. In addition, the ice was weakened due to the immense heat of the room. Fortunately, the attack still ripped through the bone. Unfortunately, the bone creature was still alive. It grabbed the ice spear and melted the frozen water instantly.
The lava had reach more than four fifths of the way to the top. After such an attack, only ten seconds remained. The lava was now rising at rediculous rates. The only hope was to enter the gaping chest wound, find that heart and destroy it. However, lava was already flowing into that wound... Light would not only have to traverse over the lava, but also get inside before the hole was completely clogged with the hot liquid. In the meantime, Lag would have to survive. With temperatures exceeding 150 degrees (F), staying alive was tough. The heat dried his eyes and burned his skin. Since Light had a virtually limitless liquid supply, he experienced only the burning of skin and even to a lesser extent.
"What?" Jenoth questioned. Two of the chains shook. "Since when were you... my friends...?" One chain snapped, freeing an arm. "This is..." She closed her eyes. The second chain loosened and fell. Five chains remained, and they seemed to be struggling to hold Jenoth's weight. With less and less lies remaining, they stood trouble trying to hold Jenoth's eyes and mind shrouded. The dark area around brightened slightly. "You don't know my master, though..." Her tone was much softer now. "He is trying to help." Naum saw otherwise. That "master," whoever that may be, was trying to kill the only remaining people in the entire universe. How is that help? "Why would he betray..." She looked around. "This place is fine, though." She shook her head. "Ah! It's so confusing. Why can't I see?" Probably that "master."
On the external, the battle continued. A surplus of energy surrounded the dragon. The white surroundings became extremely dark, while the energy turned into a massive flame. Quickly, that flame turned solid--almost as if a meteor. "This is your end!" The dragon lifted an arm. "DIE!" She sweeped her arm down and the attack fell down at Heinmir and Gwen. No stopping... this was it.
The meteor colided with the Gwen's barrier. A nuclear explosion enclosed upon them... the barrier did not hold. The bright red flames crowded them. They could feel as if their lives were drifting away... then with stark realization, they found themselves at the bottom of a new crator. The attack did not kill them... in fact, they didn't receive any mortal wounds. However, all strength had been removed from them. They lied at the bottom with no power. The dragon landed near them. "You survived... figures." She picked Heinmir up by the neck and began to choke him painfully. Heinmir could not get out of its grasps...
