"Uaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" Heinmir yelped as he was shot into the air by the water geyser beneath his feet. He crashed hard and loudly into the white flooring, leaving cracks and dents in it . Dust fell when he did and more dust rose into the air when he hit the floor, the wind had been knocked out of him pretty roughly and he just laid there stunned. Oh man...what just happened... he thought, staring at the ceiling while trying to catch his breath and see straight. I've never tried this before a rather female voice spoke, not that far from him, turning his head to see what had spoken he saw the giant monstrosity that Jenoth's body had become. Sadness, which he had felt earlier was replaced by an unquenchable rage, a large hatred towards whoever did this to the proud dragon. No oaths were sworn at that moment, there was no need to, for his rage guided him only towards the destruction of this monster. He wanted to spill it's guts on the ground, smash it's head open, rip it's beak from it's head, cleave the wings from it's back and crush the talons on it's feet after stabbing it to death with them. Slowly he got up, still a little dizzy from his short flight earlier, his grip on his swords were strong but his legs were close to buckling under him. "What are you? What did you do to the dragon?" he managed to spit out before coughing loudly, seems that he had received a crack in a rib from that crash he made seconds ago. (group 1) |

(Group 1) "The dragon..." The creature examined itself. "I am," it turned to Naum. "I am what I need to be..." Wind built up in one hand--holy wind, not unholy. A sphere of water sat in the other--holy water. The monster placed both hands together, combining the two elements. "Gwen, Naum, and Heinmir, is it?" The tone resembled Jenoth's somewhat. "Memories... Kutask is gone? And where did you come from?" It pointed to Naum. "Hm... I'm not the only one pulling tricks from my sleeves." Gwen sensed a sudden emotional build up in the beast. In other words, an attack was coming. ~~~~~ (Group 2) Once they entered the cave, the entrace vanished. A rock wall blocked that path. Only choice left was to move forward. As they entered deeping into the cave, the heat built up. The air became quite stuffy, but not imbearable. A short minute passed and the pair found themselves in a massive, open room. The trail in front of them split left and right. Straight would leave right off the edge of the trail... into an enormous pit of lava. At the center of the pile, the lizard bathed. Probably healing its wounds. While Lag took notice of the fire and the Lizard, the bones scattered on the flooring and impailed into the wall grabbed Light's attention. ~~~~~ (Group 3) After having greeted each other, Yeria and Kutask heard a large rumble. Rocks flew down the nearest mountainside. They were coming for the two. Although, the mountain... as both noted, contained not loose gravel. In fact, a good number of trees covered the mountain. Both realized that someone had to make those rocks. Nonetheless, the danger of the rock slide prevented them for chatting about it. They couldn't move out of the way in time, not matter what either did. |

Heinmir felt confused about the whole situation. His lust to slay the dragon went from an absolute must into and absolute mustn't. It seemed intelligent and it might even be Jenoth that was talking, controlling her former dead body with the help of her key...yeah that must be it he thought. But then she started to charge wind and water magic in her hands and that sent him back up on the edge, ready to kill again, even though he didn't want to kill her, or any other dragon for that matter, who would want to kill their own guardians? or have the dragons even been his guardian and not just something he had dreamt once? Heinmir was confused, torn and his will was wavering, just what was he supposed to do? "Dragon...oh mighty entity, what are you planing?" he asked with great reverence in his voice, dropping his swords to his sides, losing any guard he might have had and it was easy for the others to see that he was close to dropping his swords as well because of how loosely he held them. (Group 1) "I am planning to end this fiasco," The dragon creature told Heinmir. The magic in its hands strengthened. "Are you ready?" Gwen suddenly sensed a power she had not felt before. Knowledge and peace. Wind and water. And, in this case, that was bad. Extremely bad. The creature lifted its right hand and then threwn it down. A large line of water rushed at Heinmir. The speed was insane; in fact, Heinmir had no time to react. He blinked and the attack hit him. The attack itself contained minimal power, but Heinmir's balance was completely off-set. Directly after, the creature flapped its wings. Instead of lifting into the air, a circular burst of air shot in all directions. The attack set Heinmir off further and knocked Naum over, but, worst of all, Gwen's spell was neutralized. The pentagram vanished and she lost all the power she had put into that spell. That wind was opposite of hers... and that would cause problems. She may be doing the protecting in this one... ~~~~~ (Group 2) Lag's shout echoed loudly through the entire cavern; however, the lizard did not react. On the other hand, he could feel vibrations in the ground and walls--Light could not. On the other hand, Light could sense something moving around in the lava--Lag could not. From Lag's massive knowledge, he could say firmly that those bones were moving underneath the ground, but, before he could mention it, a large bone hone stretched forth from the wall and shoved Light off the ledge. Despite freefalling towards a massive pit of molten rock, Light did not worry. He could think clearly of how to react. ~~~~~ (Group 3) As Yeria had hoped, the shield took care of the rocks. Any rock that even touch the shield was disintigrated. Soon enough the rock slide ceased and both were unharmed. As much as they might have wished, they did not get a breather. In front of their eyes, an angel landed. That's right an angel. It was the average height of a human and even looked nearly human. Though, the white feathery wings sticking out of its back destroyed any chance of the creature being human. Brown eyes, shoulder-length white hair, and a pure face were some of its characteristics. In one hand, it held a purely metal sword, in other other, it held a white shield of pure energy. White robes clothed the being. "Nice show, nice show." The angel clapped. (In group 1, you guys are going to have to work together on fighting this opponent. You may choose to talk it over with each other as the battle moves along. Clue and Den, you'll also have to do this for your battle, but not until a little later. I'm not sure how the battle for group 3 will go, but you may have to do the same.) Heinmir was once again sent flying through the air, it seemed to be happening a lot lately. Inside he was a wreck, even though his outside would never show it, not to this degree. The dragon, one of the most sacred of creatures had attacked him, called everything he had ever done and accomplished a fiasco. You are wrong he craned his neck backwards and pulled his knees towards his chin so that he started rotating over his head. When his feet touched the ground he slammed his swords into the dirt to stop him from skidding backwards but the force from the dragon's wind was so strong that he skid more than 4 yards backwards, leaving two long furrows in the dirt after his swords. "What fiasco? Nothing we have done is a fiasco, you must be crazy...or an impostor for a real dragon would never say that" Heinmir spoke with growing rage in his voice as he slowly got up, starring evilly at the dragon. "I sent the dragon's soul to the Phranx river to rest eternally, yet you dare steal it's body?" In one swift motion he pulled his swords from the ground and dashed towards the dragon, twisting and spinning the sword in his hands to get them to lie correctly for his strike. (group 1) "Cover me witch! I don't want another blast of that attack and you fox woman! distract it, I will require some time to hit this thing with this!" he yelled and suddenly stopped his charge and spun on the spot, slashing his two swords in a deadly sweep with tremendous speed, despite not even being near the dragon. But the two slashes was not intended to harm the dragon but merely to harness some air which he collected and immediately started to work on with his powers, making it grow larger around his swords but stay as close to the metal as possible. Not again. . . not another fight, when will all of this just end. . . she thought with a little despair, before she leapt to her feet, throwing several small, but very bright fireballs at the monster's face, trying to blind it. (2) Light reached down reflexively and stopped himself from falling using the intense natural light of the magma beneath him, simply floating on the air above. It took a split second for his thought process to catch up with what he was doing, whereupon he let out a loud, high-pitched screech at the thought of what had almost just happened to him, the thought of just how close he was to dying horribly finally catching up to him for once as he shook slightly and held onto the solidified light for dear life. |

Lag looked at the lizard and said "Why not attack me? You didn't hesitate on the clouds." He said as he sent a windslash to his head. His shadow was... laughing too. (Group 3) "Absolutely," the angel replied sternly. The words ringed through Kutask's mind. He could understand them perfectly, but, unlike with Yeria, he felt something more coming from the new creature. He felt the pressense of those keys... the keys that cost Jenoth her life. "Let's dance." The angel stepped towards them. Yeria, oblivious the sensation, could feel guile toward the being. That anger sparked within her soul once more. The angel smashed the ground with his swords, sending a ripple through the ground directly towards Kutask and Yeria. ~~~~~ (Group 2) Lag's wind slashes sped into the lizard. Direct hit. The slashes pierced through lizard, slicing it into three pieces. Although, the sliced monster burned into ashes. That was a fake! Lag could feel hundreds of seperate vibrations through the ground, and, with a look around, he could see those bones shifting around the walls. Light, on the other hand, felt the movements only in the lava. Before he could concentrate of the movement, a rumbling sounded from the wall. Instantly, a large lizard-shaped skull popped out of the cliff side. "HI!" A loud yell pierced into Light's skull. The skull opened its mouth, shooting out a massive blast of lava at Light. He had but a moment to protect himself. ~~~~~ (Group 1) The dragonic beast turned its head to the fireballs and spit out large quantities of water. In a moment, Naum's fireballs were nulled. In counter to Heinmir's charge, the monster flapped its wings again, focusing a burst of wind into the man. Hundred-mile-per-hour air collided with Heinmir, sweeping him off his feet. In the collision, he lost control of the wind generate by his swords, so, as he flew to the ground, his swords took off. One landed right by Naum--almost into her foot. The other flew off into the far distance. Gwen's protection failed... she would need to directly protect Heinmir from those bursts. In other words, be right next to him. "Why do I want to kill you? You're only trying to survive?" The creature repeated Gwen's question. "You want to know why!" Its fists tightened. "It's because I despise people like you. The new world needs new leaders. Not old ones. The war and destruction and sin that you carry with you... will be brought into the new place. Destruction is just a cycle now, and I will break that cycle!!!" A pillar of water surrounded the monster. In addition, a current of wind formed around that pillar. "I removed one of you... and I can finish the rest off." The beast stated, fierce with anger and hatred. Water and wind fused. A waterspout formed. Gwen could sense immense speed and power in that spout--Naum could already tell who that spout was aimed for. Heinmir. The waterspout crawled forward to the knocked down man. Speed and furiousity built up in the waterspout as it moved forward. |

"Ooof!" Heinmir smacked hard into the ground and slid a few yards before coming to a halt, that wind burst hurt as hell. "you foul beast" Heinmir growled as he got up, just now noticing the large waterspout racing towards him, spelling instant death should it hit. I gotta dodge that, somehow he thought and did what first came to mind. He rolled sideways and pushed hard on the white empty ground, sending him up into the air rolling around until he twisted his feet downwards, landing perfectly. Well now he was up but the Waterspout was still racing towards him, what to do? "Seems like we need a new strategy... Witch, I need another shield of yours and fox, do what you can to hurt it and break it's focus. Attack constantly and never let up on that fire of yours" With that he dashed Sideways, trying to outrun the waterspout while Gwen worked on stopping it, or at least that was what he hoped she was doing. But he couldn't just run around like a scared rat so he decided he was going to help Naum distract the dragon and summoned not one, but five large two-headed battle axes, big enough to cleave the dragon should they fall on top of her. "Heaven's collapse" Heinmir murmured and with a small air detonation the axes were sent racing towards the dragon at high speed. (group 1) Edited by Altein, Oct 25 2010, 11:43 AM.

Gwen growled as she fought the waterspout, concentrating hard with a reverse wind. |

"When you surf with sharks you may not get bitten... but don't act like it was an unforeseen tragedy when you do." Interpretation may be the father of all beliefs, but Assumption is the mother of all fuckups. I should know, I'm a prime example... "In life we get to pick our poisons, may as well pick the fun one." "The mechanic of the sequence; the power to progress, We have no time to waste; no time to relax, The passion of beginning; it's the pleasure of the end, It's watching things we initiate to a state we never meant." ~chorus from Mechanic of the Sequence by Neuroticfish.

Yeria Smiled as she tried to dodge the attack as well as she was creating a substitute and making it flank the Angel creature while she held up the aura of darkness around them both. It was a bit straining to do it. She herself lashed out with tendrils of darkness against the angel. (3) |

Naum took the sword, flames forming around it as she started to just throw a volley of small, but very bright fireballs at the monster they faced. She made the balls twist and weave, but that was only a distraction. For the main show, she started to heat up some of the air behind the monster, so she could bring it forwards and at least burn it's back. (Group 1) |

Crazy is relative Insanity is the spice of life You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in YOU! I mean, hell, if we went back in time with a briefcase nuke and just glassed a section of the desert we'd be worshipped as omnipotent world destroyers a couple thousand years later.

(Group 3) Thanks to Yeria's speedy abilities, she easily dodged the rippling earth. Kutask also managed to avoid the attack. The angel immediately noticed the Yeria copy. The being lifted one hand towards the copy and another to the real Yeria. The earth rumbled below the copy, before a large pillar of earth lunged from the ground directly into the copy's face. The other hand created a large barrier. Not only did the tendrils stop upon impact, but also the touching parts of the tendrils were severely seared. Yeria could feel the pain plainly. With another wave of the sword, a second earth ripple was shot towards Yeria. And then a third directed at Kutask. And, finally a fourth directly behind the angel. If anything, this creature was quick. ~~~~~ (Group 2) To Light's misfortune, the lava did not stop. He could sense it, but his powers ceased at that point. Although, he accidentally sent a large splash of water into the lava. A large amount of hot steam sprung into Light's face, but he avoided total contact with the lava. He could hear the lizard skull pulling back into the ground. After the steam cleared, he could see cracks forming in the ground. On top of that, he felt movement in the lava below. Looking down, he could see the lava rising. Definitely not a good sign. Even if Lag was busy trying to recover from the loud yell, he had little, if any time to do so. Two boney hands reached out from the ground and grabbed Lag's feet. To make matters worse, the ground beneath Lag was crackling. Lag was going to run out of land and soon. ~~~~~ (Group 1) As Gwen pushed against the waterspout, she found herself stronger than she originally knew. The waterspout stopped--by her own strength. The water itself fell to the ground, splashing everywhere. Unfortunately, the water contacted with Naum's fireballs and heat wave. Both were instantly put out. Water was all across the ground now. At least the anthromorph still had her flaming sword. Plus, the water did not interfere with Heinmir's movement; in fact, he could use the water to his advantage. The dragon growled in frustration. "Dammit!" Noticing the whirling axes, she lifted into the air slightly. Wind built up around her, and, with a wave of her arms, a combination of wind and water splashed in front of her. Three axes were blown directly back. Another was shot off-course. But, the two in behind pierced the defence. She swiped her claws on one, blocking that axe completely. But, the other flew passed her head and sliced through the top part of her right wing. At that moment, the beast fell to the ground. "Arghh! You little..." She tightened her fists. "You aren't supposed to be this strong!" It yelled suddenly, whilst creating more water. Gwen took quite notice. The wind power for the creature dropped considerably. Maybe she could over power its wind now. She and the other two would have to think quickly. The dragon shot another sphere of water and wind towards Heinmir. Again, he had no time to dodge, but this attack only off-set his balance. On the other hand, the water that impacted him stuck. The water formed a band around Heinmir's arms and body, tying him and preventing use of his arms. Even if he tried to control the water, he knew he could not. The control was extreme. The water tightened around Heinmir beginning to crush him. When Heinmir got hit, much of the water on the ground began to move. Quickly, most of it shifted towards Gwen. The water created a double helix around Gwen and spun rapidly. This attack again--the one used on Light and Yeria not too long ago. However, unlike times before, the air was not removed. In fact, quite the opposite, the air was condensed on top of Gwen increasing the air pressure immensely. Heinmir and Gwen could only hope to defend themselves; although, the monster seemed to forget about one person. Naum. The beast had its attention completely on the other two, so this was her chance. (Nice job group 1 with the combos. Granted it may not have worked as you planned, but you did better than I thought you would. But, you'll still need to keep it up.)
