(Group 2) As both Naum and Shadow Lag attempted to pierce through, the barrier vanished. The lizard was gone. By this time, Lag realized that a good portion of his wounds had healed. The pain was now much less severe. On the other hand, he could feel his surroundings fading. Before long, he felt into utter darkness. As Naum looked for Lag... she found no one except herself and Shadow Lag. "Well done! Well done!" A precarious figure floated around Lag. "You're alive. That's progress." The spirit shook Lag's hand suddenly. "Now, then, you may have noticed that your enemy ran away. He thinks he can get away. How quaint. I am your new boss, Nur." It waved around energetically. "We'll be in contact. Or will we?" Lag could feel himself dropping, despite his ability to fly. Naum hung in the air quietly. But, they quietness ended quickly. Her surroundings began to melt away until whiteness only remained. ~~~~~ (No Group) "You're supposed to beat the skeletal monster," The spirit said peacably. "My name is Nore. I am your guide for this journey. But, first, I have some explaining to do." It seemed to sit on the ground. "A little while ago, you received your key. I'm sure you remember losing it as well. I was that voice aiding you in the battle." A sigh. "I apologize, but this journey, this test is all screwed up because of me. I broke the simple rules and stayed where I did not belong. Now because of this... someone important has perished." The wisp turned around facing the darkness. "This world is fake. That monster you fought has many sides. Many of which have been defeated; however, two have escaped. And, now it is your duty to end them. I'm so sorry for the trouble I have caused you and your friends..." Suddenly, a large object crashed on top of Light. Lag. When either looked around, they found no one except themselves. They quickly realized that the other was also a key-bearer. ~~~~~ (Group 1) As Kutask entered the reaper, he found only emptiness. The hole he entered was not there. On the other hand, a strange phrase entered his mind. Death, thou shalt die. For a few moments, Kutask could breath quietly. He could catch up. He lost an ally... a friend, but the monster that caused the incident held no more power. Kutask won. Although, those few moments passed quick quickly. Before he knew it, mountains lied around him. A strange yellow creature stood in front of him. The key around its neck stuck out. The humanoid creature blocked the first several of Gwen's attacks; however, its arms began to decay. More blocks, then shatter. Shatter. Each arm hung half intact. "You can't win!" It yelled. Only to be greeted by a face-full of pure energy. Hungry energy. The blast instantly covered the beast, eating away at the monster. Goop remained. Heinmir found nothing left of the harpy. Dust maybe, but even the cage containing the bird was gone. The dome below contained a massive burn hole from where the tornado lit up. Finally, the battle had ended. Cracks spread through the entire dome instantanously. In a matter of a moment, the entire structure shattered away into nothingness. Heinmir drifted to the ground, where Jenoth lie lifeless. He could feel the sting in his heat as he gazed upon her. When Gwen turned to face dome area, she could see Heinmir, Jenoth, and another person several feet behind Heinmir. Naum stood in dazed state watching the others. Where was she? Who were those other people? She then recognized Heinmir, as she did, she noticed the dead dragon. Sorrow sank into her heart. Gwen even shared in the feeling. Heinmir and Gwen felt terribly off. The pattern to which they were accustomed had been broken. Any foundation of understanding they once owned vanished. Destroyed. Naum could sense deep frustrating confusion over the matter. ~~~~~ (No Group) Yeria explored the mountains for several minutes without no progress. Trees, mountains, rocks... pretty much the same thing through-out the entire place. Finally, she saw something different. Walking towards it, she could not decipher the race. Once she got close, the creature seemed unconscious. Only a minute later, the being stirred and looked at Yeria. No time for chatter. Loud crumbling sounded in front of Yeria. A tree was falling directly towards the helpless thing. Kutask could not move in time to dodge the tree bearing down on him. His only hope was the yellow puff ball in front of him. (Group swap. Naum is now in Group 1. Kutask is in Group 3. Light is in Group 2. The groups read: 1= Heinmir, Gwen and Naum. 2= Light and Lag. 3 = Kutask and Yeria. Adjust accordingly.) |

Well. . . crap. She looked up at the other people, wondering why they were brought together now, but not saying anything. I hate not being in control. she decided. (Group uno) She finally looked around, and asked Gwen "Who is that?" as she looked at the dead body. Edited by The Enemy, Oct 5 2010, 01:43 AM.

"This dragon, I saw it fight with whatever monster was down here...I guess it wasn't strong enough" Heinmir said lowly, barely even whispering as he hesitantly moved towards the dragon's corpse. "I have seen one maybe two times at most, truly magnificent creatures, so strong, wise and intelligent." Slowly he reached out with his hand to gently stroke the dragon over it's muzzle. "Krataz everne vazh" he whispered soothingly as if to help the dragons spirit find peace, of course this was only a traditional ritual without any magical effects which he remembered vaguely. The stinging feeling in his eyes worsened and soon tears were streaming down his face, dripping down on the dead dragon. A sudden lack of strength overcome him and he toppled over, arms and face resting on the dragons head as he cried. (group 1) Edited by Altein, Oct 5 2010, 11:04 AM.

Gwen walked over. "Jenoth..." she said before sitting near the others. "This place is seriously messed... there must be a way out..." she muttered looking sad but not much more, scanning the area for magic or other such signs of a way out.

(Group 3) Yeria proved her strength quite well. Kutask could feel the eminance that Yeria protrayed. The key seemed to be the origin of her powers. As Kutask spoke to her, Yeria noticed something strange. The stump of the fallen tree was... smooth. Someone cut it down. When Yeria replied verbally, Kutask could understand her perfectly. ~~~~~ (Group 2) Lag already knew the answer to his question. The simple fact that Light was alive meant that he was a survivor. ~~~~~ (Group 1) As Heinmirs' tears fell upon Jenoth, he felt slight satisfaction. The death would be not be forgotten. "Jenoth..." That name ringed through Naum. Something... wasn't right. She sensed something out of place about her death, just as Gwen and Heinmir did. Death that was not supposed to happen. Pain that never should have occurred. But, there was more. Something hidden, something... strange. While Gwen searched for signs and magic... you found something else. Something bad. She could sense wind approaching. Not the wind she or the harpy controlled, but lighter air. Deadly air. More! Another entity entered the area. She could sense water. The water containted similar properties to the air. In a nutshell, bad. All bad. Gwen knew that another battle was about to take place. This time... a much harder one. (Conversation time for Group 2 and 3. If you four want, you can do a few posts between yourself, introducing your characters to each other. Chatting maybe. If not, then I will continue with regular posting) |

"The one arriving will regret that decision" Heinmir growled as he got up to his feet and summoned a pair of long swords whose rune-covered blades glowed with an murderous red light and left after images whenever he moved them. He also summoned a new set of armor that was lighter than his last but looked identical in shape. He didn't bother to wear a helmet this time though since it would limit his field of vision and probably be more of a hindrance than help. (group 1) |

(Group 1) Suddenly, water appeared under Heinmir's feet. Gwen could sense a downburst rushing down towards Heinmir. With little time to react, the water burst into a fountain, shooting Heinmir off and into the white flooring. Shortly thereafter, the wind pushed down into the water. Jenoth's body was caught up in the middle of it. A bright light blinded Gwen and Heinmir, but Naum saw cleanly through it. At the center, she glimpsed the mechanical fish that Yeria finished off earlier, that bird which she herself killed, and finally... Jenoth's body. In a flash, the three combined and the bright light vanished. A large creature drifted to the ground. A feathered, bi-pedal beast. Two mechanical eyes sat in its face, wet feathers cover its entire body, and two arms stretched out with pointed claws. A surpringly dragon-like tail stretched from its rear. Thick, glossy talens attached to its feet and two large feathery wings stick out of its back. Snout with a beak. While none of them could recognize the features from the mechanical fish... Naum could point out the bird's feature easily. That left... the dragon. Was Jenoth combined with them? They all quickly realized that Jenoth's body had vanished. The monster looked at its hands, opening and closing them repeatedly. "I've never tried this before..." The monster spoke with a somewhat feminine tone. ~~~~~ (Group 2) Unfortunately for Light, his sleep would have to wait. Nearby, a cave opened up. Deep-red colors lit the way. Obviously, they were supposed to go that way; though, Lag realized more than that. The red light... could it be from fire? And fire meant a fire monster... exactly what Lag was looking for. ~~~~~ (Group 3) Inspite of lacking knowledge of each others' names, Yeria and Kutask seemed to get along. On the other hand, that tree stump began to etch at Yeria. Cut clean through? Even if somehow the tree had been cut like that by some weird coincidence, what are the chances the tree landing directly at Kutask and Yeria? In this environment, barely even existant. Yeria could easily conclude that someone was nearby... but where? (IMPORTANT NOTE: I understand that many of you have no been reading all of the groups. However, I now require that you read them all. You may not follow what is happening immediately, but things will be happening that you will want to know. At one point, I will try to explain a lot of what is happening, but I am not going to touch every last detail. So, if you don't start reading all the posts, you will miss important details. Details that will make RPing much harder unless you know them.) Edited by Trinity-Dragon, Oct 12 2010, 11:57 PM.
