Lag's body was burned and with that serring pain attacked his senses. His fur was long gone and it hurt like hell everytime he moved a muscle.

Never the less, he noticed something. His tail had been the trigger.

He moved his hand, whimping in pain while doing so, and concentrated large amounts of oxygen around the tail. And by large, I mean like concentrating-all-of-the-air-avaible-in-a-single-and-compressed large.

This should hopefully lead to a BIG explosion and his death... hopefully.

Light let out a panicked shriek in surprise as he began to plummet. It took him a moment to think of acting at all, but he snapped out of it and flung his torch out, clicking it on and creating a cone of light under him to cradle his fall.

He remembered using the trick once before back home. He had fallen out of a window at night after trying to see something around a corner of the building. His home being high in the city, he would have died had he not thought to use the moonlight as a cushion.

The memory was painful to think of in the context of his home being gone now, but he had to persevere...

He continued to float down gently, waiting to reach a floor of some kind or another.

Naum panted, her limbs limp as she looked over at Lag.
He isn't doing so well. . .
She seemed to summon a reserve of inner strength, tensed up a litte, floating slowly towards lag, flames covering both of her hands.

Yeria was a bit panicked and she tried to make out anything in the darkness as well as finding out what was up and what was down. This was all rather scary and disconcerting.

Gwen kept muttering, concluding with a louder phrase in a language that Heinmir couldn't understand, and he could feel a faint wave of magic pass by him. it felt full of malice. The dog creatures however would have been hit with the full force of the blast.

Just as Heinmir sense the pulse of magic, he saw several of the dog-creatures fly out from the darkness surrounding Gwen. All but one puff into nothingness. The one landed on its feet and rushed back into the mist. However, Heinmir had little time to focus on that beast. The harpy crossed its hands and cross chopped the lightning spear. Instantly, the spear shattered and two lines shot at Heinmir. One to his left, the other on his right. Once lined up with Heinmir, they bent inward. By the end, the lines had formed a diamond shape around Heinmir. The perimeter of the diamond surpassed the circle of earlier. "Try that again?" The harpy spoke with a dumb smile. The hairs on the back of Heinmirs next rose.

Gwen had her own matters to deal with. "You play dirty." The beast stated from a few feet from Gwen. "I suppose it's my turn." The shroud of darkness prevented Gwen from really pinpointed the creature's location, but she could take a guess. Though, as she contemplated, the sounds bones cracking and popping sounds from nearby. Was the monster killing itself?

Down below, the reaper hung over. "Looks like you're the one who is going to die, whelp." Just as the monster started to raise its scythe, Jen jumped on the back of the being and thrusted her hand into its perceived head. The scythe fell to the floor and the monster curled slightly.

"If he's a whelp. Then you're a maggot!" Jen yelled, stabbing the monster again. And again. Black energy seeped from the wound. The reaper reached back, grabbed Jenoth's hands, and threw the dragon. Jen landed on her feet, only to have another bolt thrown into her chest. This time it pierced all the way through. Despite healing fluids rushing to the area, Jen poured blood from her chest. She fell to her knees, becoming suddenly pale.

"Don't... mess with me." The reaper growled.

(Group 2)

Ignorantly, the lizard blew a fire ball at Lag. Probably an attempt at finishing him... but the concentrated air caught instantly. The area around the monster erupted into flames. Once the explosion dissapated, an unharmed lizard floated towards Lag. Granted, the explosion was powerful; however, fire, the lizard's element, enveloped the monstousity. This is one case when fighting fire with fire that the participant did not get burned. "Nice try. But this is your end." The lizard charged its tail again, drawing dangerously close to Lag.

Watching from the side lines, Naum realized that her flames could not injure the lizard directly. Maybe some other alternative... hopefully another alternative.

~~~~~
(Group 3)
As Light floated down to the ground, two more skeletal hands reached up towards him. Some of the light was absorbed by them... and Light found himself falling once more. Light could not move out of the way, the hands moved far too fast. He had not the time to block with water or ice. For some reason, he felt the intent of death. This was attack was for keeps. After all he had been through, was he just going to die? After fighting and fighting for the sake of peace, could he just die? Hope would vanish with Light. And, a disgusting, putrid thing, was to be the cause?
Everything for naught... Light remembered that heartbeat he heard earlier. If he could just... stop the heartbeat, maybe... maybe... there would still be hope.
Yeria continued to drift innocently. "Yeria." A voice echoed around her. Another new one... great. "You hold the key to destruction. The key to absolute darkness. To hatred. Tell me, what do you plan on doing with that power? Your immense strength."
Feeling the life leaving his partner in combat, Kutask starts to panic again. But he grits his proverbial teeth at the fear. As long as the connection stayed open, she had a much greater chance. His only hope now was to dodge until she recovered - which might be a while. Too long. And if he died, so did she.
{Jenoth,} he says. {I'm sorry. I don't know what else to do. I don't want to die, but if I die now so do you. I'm healing you in a way...and in return, you give me strength. But we've reached our limits.} Hesitantly, he asks, {Do you have any ideas at all? Because anything might save us right now.}
Lag was impressed and terrified. The lizard was as resilient as a diamond. His whole body was screaming in pain and his mind had ran out of ideas.
"Lag my boy, surely this little affair won't trouble you, will it?" a voice rang in his head. Lag looked alarmed. "You!"
A voice that rang in his head, and a dark secret. All this returned to his mind.
Kitsune's (At least my very version of it) learn how to transform and how to contact with the wind when they are born. But... Lag instead of learning that, he learned a more dangerous skill.
A shadow copy of Lag appeared in front of the lizard. All black, all of it.
"Welcome... to the shadows punishment. Population... you!" He said as he delivered a kick.
Like he had done many time before, Heinmir summoned a handful of the metal rods which canceled the lightning around him.
"I'm tired of your games" He growled and shot one hand forward with all fingers spread. Metal rods appeared around the creature, a lot of them in fact and neither of them flew at the harpy itself. Instead the flew at each other, fusing together into a large iron cage that trapped the monster but not only that, it also prevented it from casting anything lightning related.
"You may not be able to cast lightning anymore but you can't be hit by it either thanks to that cage I made for you. Fits you good huh? birds should be in cages after all" Heinmir smirked underneath his helmet and summoned a single throwing spear which he grasped in his right hand. In one smooth motion he threw the spear against the bird, steering the spears way with the key's power, right for the harpy's heart.
(3) (bought time Light's other power came up)
"No!" Light shouted, straining to amplify the only thing his powers could influence, his torch. Trying to amplify an artificial light to do anything just couldn't be done with his power, but he wouldn't give in. In a second, his head started to hurt from trying to focus a now-intense, but useless light.
Light let out a scream as his powers peaked, and a small explosion of light erupted from his body, forcing the hand back for just a second as a dark being erupted forth from the grasped Light. It looked exactly like Light, in a contrast of a black body and dark hair. The being floated above the hand for just a moment before clapping his arms together, and the darkness surrounding the arm became a crushing force of gravity as the darkness creeped tightly around the limb.
As Gwen pulled the air away, she felt resitance. The monster must have a measure of air control as well. The popping sound ceased. All sense of the monster vanished, but the resitance to Gwen's air removal continued. Quiet. Darkness. She couldn't even hear what was happening outside the darkness. Except for her own movements, she could hear naught. A sudden warm sensation filled her gut. When she looked down, she could faintly see a white blade-like structure protruding from her gut... and then it pulled out. Blood gushed from her stomach and her lower back, as she realized she was just stabbed.
The harpy smiled whiel the spear drew near. It lifted one hand, and the spear just stopped. The same stasis that affected his earlier weapons stopped his throwing spear. The air stopped moving... and the spear with it. "You forget. I don't need to touch lightning to control it." Electricity started to flow between the rods around Heinmir. This time, he could not control it, for the sheer amount was for too much for him. This entire time, the harpy had been charing the attack, using each of Heinmir's moves to aid in that. "Bye." The electricity from all the rods transfered into Heinmir. Hundereds of kilowatts ran through his body, frying him--inside and out.
Down below, things did not go any better. I'm thinking... Jenoth grunted in pain. Her wound had clotted and started to heal, but she could not stand up.
The reaper chuckled. "Look at you pathetic creatures. Try, try, and try..." It didn't finish the statement. Instead, the creature floated over to Kutask. "Well, I guess I'll just kill you." It raised its scythe, while Kutask sat immobile.
"Wait!" Jenoth yelled. "Take my life. Not his." I can't move to him... but if I can get him to come to me... She told Kutask.
"How noble." The reaper said plainly, and moved over to the dragon. Once in range, it raised its scythe, but, before the attack, Jenoth made a final desperate move. She jumped to her feet and rammed into the monster. Without any hesitation, she stabbed it repeatedly pushing every last ounce of strength into killing the creature. Much energy flowed from the holes in the reaper's gut.
"Raaahhh!" It yelled in pain, pulling away quickly. "That's it!!!" Another dark bolt... it throwed it directly at Jenoth. She could not move out of the way. The bolt impaled into her skull. Instantly, she fell to the floor... dead.
Kutask could only watch in horror. "Finally..." The reaper gripped his wounds in pain. The scythe vanished.
As Heinmir struggled with the electricity, a massively sharp pain shot through his head, and, while Gwen stumbled around the darkness hoping to counter the next attack, that same hurt stradled her skull. The pain far surpassed anything either of them had felt in their entire lives. That pain could make a marine curl in a ball and bawl. Flashes of their memories flowed through their vision. The disgust entered their stomachs, for everything either or them ever knew was gone. The realization hit them suddenly and repeatedly. To make matters worse, another pain arose. Heartache. None of that had to happen. The war and destruction could have been stopped... not only that, but something was just ripped from their hearts. Something that could have been, but cannot anymore. Someone.
Both Heinmir and Gwen felt as if at the end. Heinmir could not escape the electricity, and Gwen could not avoid another attack, as if her already mortal couldn't get worse. But that was the last straw. After losing everything, to lose something they didn't even know they had. That pushed too far... emotion filled their minds. No matter what... failure was not an option. No more pushing, no more destruction, and no more death!
Meanwhile, the poor sliver watch his compatriot lie on the ground, lifeless. Murdered in cold blood. Kutask couldn't help but feel contempt for the reaper. That monster.
~~~~~

(Group 2)

A massive wall of fire blocked Shadow Lag's attack. Although, the lizard seemed rather distracted. "It's about time..." It muttered, before tur,ing attention to Shadow Lag. "You want to play games? Let me play along." Flames flushed across the lizard's back. Quickly, the fire grew until it detatched from the lizard completely. The flames morphed into the shape of the beast. Two lizards. The scaled one back off, while the flaming spit a blast of fire at Shadow Lag.

Naum watched, hoping to find a way to fight back. Maybe... she can possess the beast made of flame. Worth a shot.

~~~~~
(Group 3)
"You don't know." The voice repeated to Yeria. "That makes sense. Let me inform you then. You will become a spirit. One of... seven. The last world has been destroyed, therefore, has lost its need for the guardians. I am one." The pitch remained monotone for the moment, but Yeria could sense a piece of frustration. "You, along with six others, will fill our shoes. Your job will be to create a new world. Guard it, watch it. Keep it. You have passed your first trial with flying colors. Normally, there are only two. But, now you must face at least one more. At least. Rules of succesion were broken by one of our own... and many more have been since. The succesion will not be normal, if you can consider any of this normal." A short pause. "Will you create that new world? Will you bring life back to this empty universe, Yeria?"
Dark's attack shattered the bone monster's arms. Immediately, the hands loosed Light. Light resumed falling to the ground, but the bone monster seemed to hold back. Could Dark be too much of a threat? No. Yeria had enough power to kill the water beast, but neither of the creatures ran. Then what? What could cause the respite from attacks?
Light stared up at Dark as he drifted down, too shocked to affix his torch beneath him yet. The black form stared resolutely down at him as they both fell, then disappeared in a puff of smoke. Light continued to stare up at where it was, transfixed on the bizarre occurance that had just happened. He quickly came to his senses however, and reaffixed his light downward to continue falling slowly. The light burned slightly brighter as Light was still so tense from the experience he just had, he was leaking power into the light that he didn't intend to.
Whoever you are... thank you. he thought to himself.
Kutask stares, his blood running cold...and suddenly he realizes his strength has increased from her death, not decreased. Adrenaline? Anger fueled by the pain of feeling her life cut? Or something else? He didn't know.
All he knew was that a screech that would have scared a banshee erupted from a throat he barely knew he had, as he made a mad "dash" for the reaper. He didn't know why he was angry. He didn't know why it hurt. All he knew was that it did, that Jenoth must have hurt even more, and that he had basically lost another hive, however small it was.
That was just too much. By the time the reaper has turned, it has a face full of sliver claw and painfully-high-pitched shrieking filling its "ears".
"YAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Heinmir screamed in agony as the electricity flowed into him, frying him both on the inside and outside. The pain got so intense when the memories flooded through his skull that his voice died away in his throat. Everyone he had ever knew, every place he had ever visited and the only child he had ever held in his own arms were all gone. Why did he remember this all of a sudden? why was this shown to him a second time? why was he slowly dying in a place like this without even putting up a fight?
No....This is it! Never would I fall in a place like this, I promised her...I promised him...my love...son..I will keep that promise! "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" His voice returned, stronger than before and slowly he moved his right arm, lifting it slightly just before his armor crumbled to dust, taking the electricity with it. In it's place stood a humanoid with dark, gray skin, pure white long hair and glowing blood red eyes. He was clad in a thin dark blue tunic and brown trousers, no armor or weapon was on his form nor any scars or tattoos. Electricity jumped in the metallic dust by his feat but he stood there immobile just glaring at the harpy with tears streaming from his eyes.
"You...you dare show me what I have lost, you dare mock me and try to kill me." He took a stumbling step forward, never loosing eye contact with the bird, his mouth twisted in a snarl.
"Everything was taken away from me, except my life and now you try to steal the only thing I have left to honor what I have lost!" He shouted and whipped with his arm in the air, creating a draft behind his arm which he grasped with his power and let it whirl around him, growing slowly.
"I have lost everything and therefor I have to rebuild" he continued and summoned two swords that struck each other, creating a spark which he collected as well and let it grow into flames which licked his arms. From his tears he created water that slithered across the dome towards the harpy and from the dust of his armor he formed a large stone which sat behind him.
"I'm not only a forger, I'm also a creator! not just a manipulator! For everything lost I will replace, for everything built I will improve for everything forgotten I will bring back!" Suddenly the water hardened and shot up against the bird, grabbing it's foot and dragging it down to the dome's floor where it froze to ice.
With the wind he picked up the rock and threw it against the bird while splitting it into hundreds of shards.
In the middle of it all the harpy could feel the wind rotate around it, faster and faster.
"It's time to to start a new day, THE RECREATION DAY!" Heinmir shouted from the top of his lungs and threw the fire into the rotating winds that combusted into a huge flame pillar that reached towards the sky, incinerating anything within it.
Gwen fell to her knees, gasping in pain. Is this it... is this where i die? She thought. No... this can't be it... she though as her hand went to the key as she started to chuckle.Yes... yes this will do... she though as a ball of solid air formed around her. She was laughing darkly by now as she concentrated on the key, releasing it's power which caused a powerful blast of plagued wind throwing the beast back and clearing the shadow from around her.
The ball of air changed to a Dark green color, which started to glow and rise into the air, Gwen's laughter still heard from within until the orb flashed green and dissipated
Gwen floated about a meter and a half off the ground now. Her eyes were glowing a deep green along with the intricate arcane patterns that existed in her fur pattern. her hair was tipped with a deep emerald color. "No, i'm not quite done yet." She said, smiling coldly at the beast. "And no, you will not exist after i'm through."
dark green light gathered in one of her hands, which soon formed into a fighting staff made of a material similar to the key, as she flew at the beast, a spell gathering on the end of the staff.
"I see you created a copy of you, huh? Sorry to say this but yours lack... will" The shadow said as he looked at the copies attack. The attack made a direct hit and the shadow was gone.
Or at least THAT shadow.
"Behind you" The same voice said as he delivered a kick to the back of the lizard.
Kutask slashed the reaper's face deeply, before being back-handed into the floor. "You little rat!" It yelled angrily. More energy flowed from its wounds. As the monster bled energy, Kutask noticed a hole in its gut. Did Jen do that? Kutask could probably enter it, if he wanted.
While Heinmir went on with his speech, the harpy spoke to itself. "Show you what you lost? What...?" In realization of Heinmir's attack, the harpy charged lightning in its hands. Despite having a metal cage around itself and water dragging itself to the floor, the bird creature deflected all of the earthern shards with a blast of lightning; however, it did not anticipate the flare tornado. Both Heinmir and Gwen could hear a loud shriek shoot out from the fire.
After the blast of plauged air, the darkness around Gwen vanished completely. The dog beast flew several feet away, fall completely off the dome and landing on invisible ground. The creature had changed shape severely. Bi-pedal with four arms--two pointed bone arms and two arms like a praying mantis'. After landing, the monster prepared for the on-coming attack; though, it clearly had little time to do so.
The shadow's kick pushed the lizard a few feet (about a meter), but, as the shadow just learned, the lizard held much weight. At least a few tons. Resitance faced Naum's attempt to capture the flaming copy, but lasted only a few seconds. At that point, she gained complete control. The kick probably distracted the main creature... or maybe something else. The lizard suddenly pulled away the shadow, Lag, and Naum. "Dammit... this wasn't supposed to happen." He created a massive barrier of fire between itself and the other three. Naum couldn't negate the barrier, and neither Shadow Lag or Lag could fly around it.
As Light drifted downwards, he could see the bone creature... retreating? The ground below was flat and identical to the ground outside of the pit. A wisp appeared in front of Light as he landed. "You did it..." It told Light. "Congratulations." The atlantian recognized the voice pretty quickly. It's that person that had been talking in Light's mind. The one that helped him when he originally fought the shark monster.
"Is that so?" The voice responded to Yeria. "We shall find out..." Suddenly Yeria felt herself falling. Before long, she slammed into some rocky terrain. She was in the mountains. Craggy terrain surrounded her. So, Yeria, what can you do? The voice echoed in Yeria's mind. It's time you found out.
(Transition period. For the moment, neither Light nor Yeria have a group. In place of group #, write no group, group --, or something of the like.)
Kutask notices the hole and lunges in, slashing wildly with his claw and doing any damage he can.
Give the PCs plenty of problems, but give them a free hand in how they try to solve them. Use "yes, and", or "yes, but," or "roll the dice." But try to avoid "No." -- The Wyzard, dispensing valuable DM advice
Naum looked quite surprised, but slowly turned the flame lizard under her control into a three-headed dragon, with wings, that faced the flame barrier. She set it to slowly go towards it, to pound it down, just in front of each head a small bit of disruptive flame magic, to try and soften it up. Hope this works. ..
The shadow looked at the flames and began to say. "Fire that create shadows... Will you let us through?" He began to walk to the flame barriers and attempted to cross it.
She fired the attack before she came within his range, the staff following the magic as dark green energy gathered around her hands as she followed the staff in. She delivered blow after blow, each one causing a small explosion of plauged wind, right before she gathered up a large amount of energy in her hands and fired it at the beast's head point blank.
"Right..." Light said with a relieved sigh as he came to a halt and dropped down onto his knees, physically and mentally exhausted from the ordeal "What... what did I do? The key... that shadow...?" he was confused and tired as he rolled over onto his back to rest "What am I supposed to do...?" he muttered
Yeria was looking over the mountainous region with a curious expression, she didn't know what she was going to do here but she decided to explore the lands a bit and she began to explore said lands.
"She truly is a witch " Heinmir murmured upon seeing Gwen's devastating attacks and dark magic. She looked like a tornado of plagues, spreading death and disease wherever she went and waved that staff of hers.
Even if the harpy had shrieked loudly as a landslide when his attack hit home he couldn't be sure that it was dead so he cautiously made his way over to the area of rubble and cinders that was left from his attack.
"Nothing could have survived this, not even me" he mumbled and knelt beside the pile of hot glowing stone, just looking at the hazy air that coursed from the hot pile of ash. Happy with the lack of life signs he got up and turned towards Gwen who just delivered the finishing blow.
"ARE YOU DONE YET?!?" he yelled, smiling despite of it all that had just happened.
