(3) Light let out a silent scream of pain inside the pool, shaking as he realized his epiphany wouldn't be much help to him if the creature could still harm him. He reached slowly into his shirt, flinching as he stretched the hole in his shoulder slightly, but he thought the only way to lift himself up might be his torch. Pulling the device out, he flipped it over and turned it on, solidifying the light to act as a handhold above him. He let out a silent cry while once again stretching his shoulder to reach up to it, and slowly and carefully began trying to pull himself off the spikes. |

"And just how are you going to intervene? there's a whole dome blocking us if you haven't noticed" Heinmir sighed and tapped the dome with his knuckles, just how was he going to get inside? or perhaps he didn't have to. Heinmir started to stare and focus on his scythe, trying to get control over it, it was his weapon after all. He put every thought and emotion to it, trying to grip the scythe from afar and yank it out of the reaper's hands. (group 1) |

(Group 1) Jen watched carefully. Nonetheless, the reaper hovered closer to Kutask, before stopping just outside his melee range. Its second hand--as skeletal as the other--reached out from its robe, motioning upwards and grasping the air. Suddenly at cage of dark energy, formed around Kutask. "This is the e-" "Shut up!" Jen yelled. "And, leave him alone!" "Do you seek death?" The monster turned to face Jen, while the cage remained in place. "If that means stopping you, then yes," Jenoth nodded firmly. "You're nothing more than an old bag of bones who knows less than an ape!" Gwen and Heinmir could understand the entire conversation, while Kutask could still only understand the monster. However, when Heinmir tried grab his scythe, he felt another pressense controling it. He would have to struggle against that pressense to get control of his scythe again. ~~~~~ (Group 2) While Naum tried, she could manipulate the flames; however, she sensed an opposing force trying to control the flames--likely the lizard. However, before Naum had much chance to speak, the bird rushed into the tornado and tackled Lag with its talons. Meanwhile, several bursts of fire flew at Naum, bursts which she had no ability to control. Interstingly, the Lizard was still in basically the same place as before. ~~~~~ (Group 3) As Light pulled off the spikes, a good amount of his flesh and skin tore. Even so, he didn't seem to be bleeding; then again, can one bleed in a pool of blood? The monster above him seemed to move closer to the surface, leaving Light to himself. Yeria's shock bounced clean off of the skeletal thing. Her dodge was succesful, but another swing of bones hit Yeria mid-air. She flew back into the pool blood, the top layer had become liquid once more. Just as she hit the water, the water monster grabbed her with its mechanical arm and dragged her under. Lag did not expect a front tackle. He held on to his staff and said "Let's see if you..." He said as he touched the left side of the Bird. A horizontal tornado appeared and attacked them both. The tornado straightened out and was now vertical. This would prevent further flying abilities from the bird. "How you counter this." He said as he smoothly went down, to the eye of the tornado, where only a slight breeze was howling. |

(3) Light pulled as he solidified the beam of light and slowly lifted his shoulder out of the spike, twisting the one in his gut slightly as he relaxed his shoulder to the side for a second. In a moment, he replaced the torch back in his shirt and reached down, pushing down on it and raising himself back up. He shivered as he came to a rest above the spikes, thanking his water-borne heritage for his natural swimming ability. He gently floated down, resting gently this time between the spikes. They can't kill us. I know that much now... Light said as he grabbed hold of the middle of one of the spikes with both hands But can we... he pushed on it and against a different spike with his feet to test if it was weak enough for him to break one away. Naum saw the fireballs aimed at her, realizing that they came from the lizard. Her eyes went wide for a second, before she summoned a sheild of flame, both absorbing and blocking the fireballs that were thrown at her, before it changed shape into one large fireball that flew at the lizard at high velocity, when she could hold it no longer. "That is my weapon you rotten thief!" Heinmir growled and sized control of his scythe with all his mental strength, yanking it from the monsters hands and then canceled the spell that held it in this world, making the scythe disappear. "Now he's unarmed, kill it!" He screamed even though they would never hear him. Just why was he trying to help them so much? he didn't know a single one of them so why did he take sides? It was a question best left for later. (group 1) |

(Group 3) Yeria's shock traveled through the blood quite well. Fortunately, the electricity did not reach Light and, even better, the water beast jolted back, letting go of the pikachu. Strangely, her spark was no its usual color. It was a much darker... almost black. She now noticed a strong sense of darkness covering her. Darkness was hers. She controlled it... owned it. Light could not break off the spike; nonetheless, as he was thinking about it, a much similar spike appeared in his hand. The conclusion came to him that he had control over water. Enough to control to make it from thin air. The skeletal figure stayed out of the pool, while water beast recovered from Yeria's attack. ~~~~~ (Group 2) Unfortunately for Naum, the lizard plainly ate her fireball. Alternatively, a large set ring appeared around the lizard, which still has barely moved. Suddenly, a massive burst--as powerful and loud as a volcano explosion--shot at Naum from that ring. A regular fire shield would not cut it this time and she had no time to dodge, neither could she grab control of the fire before it hit her. About at this point, the realization clicked in her mind, fire would not work against the lizard, but the element might very well work against her. Lag had no better a situation. He could sense another tornado outside of his own. This tornado spun in the opposite direction of Lag's, so, when the two colided, both canceled out. Powerful strokes of wind flew towards Lag from many directions. He could tell that this wind would cut him into pieces if he did not block or dodge the attacks. The same realization snapped into his head as Naum. He couldn't hurt the bird with wind, but the bird could hurt him with it. A new strategy would need to be formed... and quickly. ~~~~~ (Group 1) Heinmir's voice filled the dome. For the first time, sound from outside the dome came inside. "Wh-what the-?" The reaper looked at its empty hand. "Figures..." Jenoth took the moment to attack the apparition. As she charged at it, the monster merely flung its hand into Jenoth, sending her into the nearest wall. "Ack..." Jenoth landed on her hands and knees. At that same second, the cage around Kutask vanished. The reaper flew quickly across the room and picked Jenoth up by the neck. "You will die!." The grip around her neck tightened. However, Jenoth swiped her claws across the arm, cutting it clean off. "AH!" The reaper jolted backwards, holding its wounded arm. ~~~~~ "You interfered..." A familar voice appeared behind Heinmir. "Do you know what happens when you break the rules? I break the rules." The creature that Heinmir defeated so long ago appeared out from the ground. "I'm back!" That black-scaled, tooth-armed dog thing walked slowly towards Heinmir and Gwen. Now, you've done it. Sre spoke to Heinmir. He's going to try to kill you. And, unless your sliver or dragon friend die first, you will... Sre paused. Make sure that none of you die. Sre actually sounded slightly compassionate. |

"So you have returned fiend, and a great deal stronger I suspect from our last battle. It does surprise me tht you didn't appear as soon as the monster stole my scythe for isn't that also interfering?" Heinmir chuckled cockily and turned to face the beast with his shield and lance held at the ready, he would need to be on the defensive side against this foe he suspected for he would perish quickly otherwise. "Witch, feel free to help but be wary, this creature is fast as a Cheugari" Heinmir spoke to Gwen and spared her a quick glance before resuming his attention to the beast. "If you wanna charge me, then charge me you fiend" Heinmir spat and stomped at the dome with his right boot, summoning four spears at his feet that all pointed at the beast like a wall of sharp points separating Heinmir from the demon dog. (3) Light grasped the spike. Oh wow... he marveled at what he just did for a few moments, then started swimming upward at a rapid pace, toward where the fighting was going on. Time to turn things around. he thought as he mustered all the courage he could while he swam, readying himself to strike out at the strange beings as he rose. |

Lag created a another tornado, smaller in proportion of the last one. He used the tornado to move around, dodging every current. "I concur!" He said as he dived against the lizard. (Group 2) Just as Lag finished speaking, a blast of fire hit his back. Scalding but not disabling. Several small fire spirits surrounded Lag, they were charging for attacks. At the same time, the lizard was slowly drifting away from Naum, heading for Lag. Although, there was no sign of the bird. Not even an attack. ~~~~~ (Group 3) The water monster recovered from Yeria's previous blow in time to dodge the next one. "Same as always..." The beast commented. "Always the same..." No sign of the skeletal monster. Interestingly, Light's body started to heal. The injuries hurt less and less over time, and they seemed to close up--even if slowly. A large cloud of small, sharp icicles formed near the monster; although, only Yeria could see them. Light, on the other hand, could sense the ice. In fact, he could detect and identify any water--be it gas, liquid, or solid. The cloud launched at Yeria and Light. |

(Group 3) The icicle attack proved utterly ineffective against Yeria and Light; however, the water beast managed to dodge--barely--Yeria's attack. "So much for 'new'..." The beast spoke rather pleased for some reason. Another cloud of icicles formed and launched at Yeria and Light once more, but along with these icicles came sizable ice spheres. Meanwhile, Yeria could sense the skeletal monster moving in... from below them. ~~~~~ (Group 2) Without warning, the bird flew directly past Naum, causing a small shockwave, which sent Naum several feet. The shockwave was incredibly disorienting. Before much wait, the fire spirits begans spitting small, yet speedy fireballs at Lag. The Lizard watched calmly from the distance. "Such a bore," he complained. ~~~~~ (Group 1) "Charge? You asked for it..." The dog beast leaned forward, curling up slightly. Two bulges formed on its side and began to expand. Slowly, two the bulges removed themselves from the beast, forming globs on the ground. In a few moments, those globs turn into two more of the monster. Immediately, the two sprinted towards Gwen and Heinmir. Kutask's swipes barely had an affect on the reaper; nonetheless, it was distracted with its dismembered hand. Jenoth waited, taking sometime to recover from that earlier throw. Should I attack? Jenoth asked herself mentally. |

(3) Light looked up again as he halted the approaching ice with his powers, and continued swimming up. He finally burst up out of the water and took a breath, relieved to finally breathe despite his newfound immunity to drowning. "Hey! I know you can't kill us!
