When Light pulled the key to himself, the light that it shined vanished. The entire area when dark again, and the water beneath Light dried up instantly.

At that same time, the living darkness suddenly surrounded Yeria. Terror filled her mind. Thoughts of blood, death, and disease filled her mind. As it did, Yeria could see visions of people suffering terribly--suffering unfairly. She saw little children tortured by spiteful adults, youthful girls abused by lustful men, and boys enslaved by powerhungry women. Families burned to the stake by people who cared only for themselves. Countless atrocities flew through Yeria's mind. And, just as the moment passed, the living darkness disappeared, returning her to the putred darkness of before. Interestingly, Yeria found a key in her hand.

Just as the two received their keys, they saw something in the darkness. They saw justice. They saw righteous judgement. Something burned inside Yeria... angry, hate, indignation. On the other hand, care, caution, and peace flowed through Light. The darkness seemed much less dreaful to both of them.

~~~~~
(Group 2)
"Is that all?" Jenoth sighed sarcastically. "Well, I suppose we wait then, right?" Hunger and thrist was starting to eat away and Jen's hope. It had not even been a day since she had eaten or drunk. Something... someone was draining her.
Well... you're here... The voice stated inside Lag's mind. You might want to go get a dryer of some sort. Your clothes aren't gonna dry for a long time, otherwise. It joked around. Lag could see no path anywhere. The clouds blinded him.
~~~~~

(Group 1)

As Naum leaned forward, she drew towards the key. By her own mind, she could control how she was flowing... it was somewhat strange and, yet, natural to her. Soon enough, she had her hold on the key.

Just as Heinmir hoped, he did drift towards Kutask. Eventually so much so that they softly bumped into each other. Though, Kutask's hunger and thirst was starting to get the better of him. It was getting beyond the point of distracting now.

~~~~~
(Group 1 & 2)
As Jenoth mulled over her hunger pains, and, as Kutask felt Heinmir bump into him, a malicious voice filled their minds. Well, six have their keys. Two don't. But... it would be so convenient if one of them just... disappeared. That way all fourteen positions can be evently distributed. Well... one of you has to die. Which one will it be?
Kutask flinches, not from the bump, but from the voice. {Uh, Heinmir, someone just said something about killing me or someone else...in my head...please tell me that happened with you.}
Gwen pulled out a small spellbook and started searching through it. "I may have something here that will help you on the food front, if you don't mind a little black magic."
"Nat really kill me, I think it hinted at it but the voice never flat out said it" Heinmir replied to Kutask and hovered next to him.
"Don't be afraid, just face them braverly instead, that works a lot better than to cower for a few words"
Kutask is not exactly heartened by those words, but he figures he'd better at least try...otherwise, he's got no chance...
Light held the key loosely to his chest. This was his hope. A key to a peaceful existence. He had to fix things; make them right again. "I'll help change this... there's gotta be a way. And this must be the answer..."
"So your a joker huh?" He said as he looked at the clouds surrounding him. "I don't mind that. But I do have to warn you: I'm getting cranky and..." He said as he raised his staff and using the wind as a dryer, dried his clothes. "I'm not a kind person when angered." He said as he raised his staff above his head and looked around.
Yeria was shaking in fury because of the visions and she looked resolutely at the darkness and wished for justice for the atrocities she had seen.
[OOC: Be warned, there will be a lot a group changing in this post]
(Group 3)
"You want to fix things, don't you?" A dark, mysterious voice called from the surrounding blackness.
"But, there's nothing to fix," Another voice stated--one famliar to Light. "The worlds are gone."
"Yeria, those atrocities you saw happened. In your world and many others. Now, the worlds and their atrocities are gone."
"Light, your hope existed. In your people and many more. Now, your hope and your people are gone. All people are gone." At this point, Light could easily determine the owner of this voice. It was the same thing that he fought before.
Simultaneously, both voices questioned, "So, what are you going to do about it?"
~~~~~

(Group 2)

I'm not your enemy, the voice told Lag plainly. Just look for your key, dryer boy. Once you find it, I'll be the least of your worries. Notably, Lag could float around again. Find the key, find your destiny. A slight breeze blew through the clouds--a warm, soothing breeze. Follow your heart.

~~~~~
(Group 1)
Once Naum touched the key, it vanished. A moment later, Naum could see the key on a chain around her neck. And, in that same moment, the entire surrounings changed--though, only for Naum. The lava substance morphed slowly, becaming thinner and thinner. Soon enough, Naum found herself in clouds lots of them; furthermore, she found another key sitting just feet away from her. She happened to feel a light breeze passing by her. That wind gave a Naum a rexaling sensation.
(Naum is now in Group 2)
~~~~~

(Group 1 & 2)

What? A voice? Jenoth questioned in her mind. She didn't know how to react. She half-guessed that it was her turn to receive her key, but something felt off. Unfortunately, she could not determine what was wrong.

Have fun... The sinister voice ringed in her and Kutask's mind.

Fun... fun? Jen inquired once more.

In a flash, Heinmir, Kutask, Gwen, and Jenoth teleported away from their locations. Kutask and Jenoth landed in a large, open white room. Glossy white tile covered the floor, and a white-tinted glass covered the rest of the dome-like room. The temperature was neither hot nor cold, the environment was neither soothing nor painful, and the room looked neither frienly nor omninous. It was neutral room.

Floating in front of the pair were two keys. Jenoth and Kutask noticed that something wasn't quite right. How could it be just this easy? What was that voice about? And, who was this other person? Somethings did not match up.

Heinmir and Gwen landed on top and outside of the dome--on some sort of platform. Below them, they could see Kutask and Jenoth and the two keys. Of course, the two could see each other. In the surrounding area was dull whiteness. The temperature, environment, and surounding area felt the same to these two as Jenoth and Kutask.

Interstingly, Heinmir and Gwen could see Jenoth and Kutask, but not vise-versa. Nevertheless, Heinmir and Gwen could not sense anything troubling. While different, everything that just happened seemed to fit the pattern of the regular process.

(Gwen and Jenoth are in Group 1 now)

Light continued looking at the key. "I... I don't know..." he whispered to himself, staring sadly into the key. "I understand what you mean... and I don't know what I'm going to do... but I'm here." he looked up resolutely as he gripped the key tight "I am Light of Atlantis, I am a living manifestation of the element. A beacon of my people's hope!"

He stepped forward and said "I may not know what to do, the others don't know either. I... I don't even know if our worlds can be saved... but we have to try."

"We can't just let everything there is fall into permanent darkness... We are here! That means we can do something!"

Naum looked around, her eyes wide.
What the heck is this? One second I am in lava, the next, clouds?!?
She didn't even notice the key on her neck until almost a minute later, and she looked at it slowly, holding it in her hand a little. It seemed to relax her a little, and a small smile came to her face.

Kutask glances at Jenoth and flinches, backing up a bit. He knew about dragons from home - they were one of the few things even the slivers feared.

Yeria said and frowned as this gnawed on her mind. She wanted some way to do something about this.

Heinmir noticed that the light eased on his eye lids and slowly opened them, blinking numerous times to moisture them before looking around further. The first thing he noticed was the change of location, though that did not surprise him in the least. the second thing he noticed was that Kutask was gone, he was far below him even together with a huge ass dragon. And the third thing he noticed was Gwen standing beside him.

He looked over the Anthro fox, noticing that its fur had the same color as his plate armor and guessing from her lack of armor she had to be either a civilian or a mage, could be either what did he really know?

With a shrug he turns his attention back to Kutask and the huge ass dragon, setting the butt of his lance onto the dome floor with a light thump.

Interstingly, Light could understand Yeria's words completely. And, she still could understand his words.

"Oh, oh! Let's do something!" The dark voice mocked. "We don't know what to do, but we're gonna do something anyways."

"Do you honestly believe that you pathetic excuses for creatures can do anything?" The water creature's voice asked. "The worlds were destroyed while you sat by and watched!"

"Everything is gone and you could do nothing about it. What possibly can you do now?"

Whatever these monsters wanted, it was clear that they were angry. No joking this time--no playing around. They continued to talk, but were now moving in circles around Yeria and Light.

"Yeria," the dark voice called, "those crimes happened in your world. Tell, what did you do about them?"

At the same time, the other monster talked with Light, "So, what did happen to that world of yours, Light? All that peace and prosperity died. What do you have to say for yourself?"

These "thing" wanted to get Light and Yeria angry. Just their tone of voice illustrated that. However, why did they want to get them angry? In fact, it was not completely clear as to what they wanted the two key-holders to get angry about.

~~~~~
(Group 2)
After a few minutes, Lag could see something through the clouds. A person, possibly? As he drew near, he saw Naum, floating in place, and Naum saw him. Moments after seeing Naum, Lag noticed a key sitting next to her. And, the key called out his name faintly.
~~~~~

(Group 1)

Jenoth looked at the keys and then the sliver. "This is... different..." She muttered, stepping towards the keys. "I guess we each take one," She spoke to Kutask, not realizing that he can't understand her. For the moment, her hunger escaped her mind. Nonetheless, Kutask and Jenoth both suffered from it.

As much as Heinmir and Gwen might looked around, there seemed to be no entrance/exit to the strange dome. Jen and Kutask were probably stuck. Even so, Heinmir and Gwen could clearly talk with each other; in fact, they were on the same platform with nothing blocking their way between each other.

"Nice to meet you then." she says slowly.
"No, this isn't mine. . ." Naum says, looking at the key next to her.
"And my name is Naum." she said with a shrug, a small smile on her face. This cloud land was certainly a lot more pleasant than the lava she had just left.

"Eat you?" Jenoth mulled over the prospect of eating the sliver. She shuddered lightly, not finding Kutask tasting-looking whatsoever. She shook her head. "I won't eat you." Her voice was calm and kind; nevertheless, Kutask couldn't understand her actual words. She stayed where she was standing, hoping to avoid freightening the sliver.

Light smiled a little to himself, not a victorious smile, but a warm smile, as if he were suddenly content. "And it has died... and yet... hope still exists." he started walking forward "We can figure out something. What happened has happened, but we can't look back and regret. We have to push forward and make things better." he looked over at the monster "Have you ever tried? Would you like to make a better future, or do you prefer to live in a miserable past?"

Heinmir turned his head when he noticed a small black dot from in the corner of his eye. It was then that he noticed the black mist Gwen was forming with her hands.
"I would suggest that you do not interrupt them down there with any spell, it might cause more problems than its worth" He said and turned on the spot with two heavy steps so that he was facing her, his hand tightening slightly around his lance.

"You don't want to sabotage this trial are you?" he asked with a little more edge to his voice, if somewhat challenging even if he had not intended to sound so bitter but the constant change of location and strange events was wearing on his patience.
