OFFICIAL WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT RIVALS© DOCUMENT
new rules and regulations that are in effect as of october 6, 2009

As of this date - Tuesday, October 6, 2009, these guidelines will be adhered to by Staff and Members. Any prior or past regulations that have not been followed to the fullest extent of Staff is no longer a viable reason to use against the new Staff members. New rules will be expected to be adhered to by all; no one is above or beyond the rules, and everyone will abide. If this is an issue for you, you can submit your resignation.

If you are not a current member, please read through the document prior to registering, that way there is no miscommunication about WWER standards and practices. WE ARE STRICTLY A MATCH BASED PROMOTION. You can find out more information by visiting this link [will be provided for in the future]

Any questions and queries can be asked through private message to an administrator once registered, which you can look through at the available link when it has been updated - for now, please look at the list to see which Administrator is online and will be back with you shortly.

please note that above will be provided with links on a particular subject when it has been made.

REGISTRATION» Please check our vacancy list to ensure that the intended sign up is available for selection - and is up to date. Please also check the Member List to be double sure about the availability. Chances are, if they are not colored to a brand - and are blacked out, they are available. CAWS ARE NOT ACCEPTED, and if said talent is questionable or widely unknown, please provide information that could lead to evidence of the contrary. SPECIAL RAW HOST GUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED, not even if they wrestled a match such as Seth Green, Maria Menonous. You will be deleted immediately.
» WWE Rivals accepts any current, or former WWE, ECW, TNA, WCW, ROH or any other wrestling promotion stars. Deceased wrestlers are also permitted.
» Please register as the intended character's name, such as: John Cena, and not The Champ. If it is not available, find that another acceptable way of means could be found as such: John F. Cena, J. Flex Cena, John Flex Cena, J.CENA, JCENA, CENA, JFCENA until all options have been exhausted.

VACANCY LISTINGS » MEMBERS LIST

POSTING A CONTRACT» Prior to posting your contract, please understand that posting one does not result in automatic acceptance into Rivals, and that if you are applying for a higher demanded character, or a Main Event, that you will be expected to post a detailed role-play. YOU HAVE 24 HOURS FROM REGISTERING/VALIDATION TO POST.
» If errors are cited by the Staff - you will have 24 hours to edit the contract, or you will be deleted and the contract will be considered null void.

CHARACTER REGULATIONS» Members are given the privilege to hold up to two Superstars and/or Divas. Please note that it is a privilege and not a right - this privilege can be taken away at any point, and will be notified upon decision from Staff. YOU MUST BE ACTIVE WITH BOTH CHARACTERS.
» Depending on the Superstar/Diva itself, one might be asked to try choosing another star if the individual already has a main event status star, or has not shown consistency to grant them the desired character.
» A second character will only be granted to those who have show activity through General Role-Play, showing for their scheduled contests, and beginning storylines. You should not join, and within a week request a second - it will be up to a Staff member to decide, but most often times will be automatically denied until a Staff member deems you committed to the federation. DO NOT APPLY FOR A SECOND WITHIN A MONTH PERIOD OF BEING SIGNED. No matter what, it will not be accepted!
» Character Switching is NOT allowed after successful registration, which entails accepted contract, not actual validation for any reason - so do not bother asking. We have a time period of at least 30 days before we even consider a switch - do not ask before that period. Please be sure of your character choice before registering.
» You will wait out the month period before switching again, but this means that you will have needed to provide activity with the character originally intended as. If you do not, this means that you could/will be denied, and possibly deleted for your troubles. If every month for three months straight you switch, or replace a character - you could become limited after the fourth or flat out denied.
» If you drop a character [your first or second to remain with one] due to any amount of reasons [such as, but not limited to: school, unwanted character, difficulty maintaining activity with two, etc.] you will have to wait out the rest of the month with said character to apply again, but must be active with first to prove that with interest you can juggle both responsibilities. However, if you dropped them and it was past a month for you, then you will only need to wait two weeks if applying within a three week period.
» If you and another member agree to swap or switch out characters - or hand your account over to another member, it needs to be pre-approved by Richard or Chris.
» A member cannot promise you their character without the consent of Richard or Chris to sanctify in good terms, and as well as pre-approval of said promise to ensure that the character handed off to the next will and has provided activity. If in this situation where the person is deleted for their inactivity without consenting between one of the two Admins mentioned above; we are not obligated to hold the agreement between you and the [former] character handler. It should be on the current handler's behalf that they message both Admins about this issue - not the person wanting the character to avoid a situation where the handler did not agree to it.
» Any harassment of a character handler to pressure them to give you their character will not be tolerated and if found out, could lead to removal or another form of severe punishment.
» If a character is inactive, you can pursue Richard or Chris about said inactive character about their official status. If they are on leave of absence and actively signing in at least every three days you cannot try and boot them from their character. In due time they will if they do not return within the posted month of their absence unless circumstances have been deemed beyond control by Chris or Richard/
» You cannot switch pending a Tryout character if your month is not up, or activity is lacking. The excuses for either do not apply - and you cannot claim a character is yours because you originally registered with intent to sign with them.

MEDIA REGULATIONS» Signatures and avatars should be based on the superstar and/or diva you are registered as. Signature sections should not include any videos from YouTube, etc. GIF's are allowed but to an extent. A signature section is yours to show your creativity, show it.
» To not stretch the board out - Signature has the restriction of 500x300.

MEMBER CONDUCT» Member activity is monitored strictly. If we see you are inactive for four or more days without posting a leave of absence, or are turning up on the board and not participating, we have the right to delete your account without question. Please do not register if you do not plan to dedicate time to us as we do to you.
» If you no show to an event without contacting your brand General Manager and Chris about the issue - we do not have to accept a late post of Absence to keep you on this site.
» If you are booked on the brand, and post an Absence slip two days after the card is posted; you could still be removed - but you should contact your brand General Manager about the issue.
» Any racial, sexist or any other form of harassment will not be tolerated here. Depending on the severity of the situation, you will either be given a warning or deleted and banned. Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
» Debating is fine - it's human nature - but do not go beyond that and include personal vendettas, or preferences, period. There will be no drama or arguments/flaming of any members. Keep the threads and C-Box clean from arguments and drama. This is a place to have fun and show your creative side, not start nonsense. Excessive arguing/flaming/drama will be given a warning and eventually, deletion if continues to occur.
» Advertising will get an automatic ban. It's simple; you advertise, you're banned. Regardless of how or where it is posted, advertising is a major red flag. If a member advertises through PM, please notify an Admin or moderator. Advertising on the board itself will be taken care of by staff.
» Stealing a role-play is not permitted. A member caught stealing role-plays from members or using one as their own will result in immediate ban from World Wrestling Entertainment Rivals.

UNAUTHORIZED CHARACTER HANDLING» Any unauthorized attack or unauthorized action on another or playing as their wrestler in role plays is not allowed without permission from the intended character. If they do not reply, it doesn't mean that it is okay. You have to obtain permission - not just send the message and then post your role-play with the character involved. Discussions in private about what is allowed and what isn't is between the people involved, and when it is settled or agree'd upon is necessary.

HAVE FUN!» We here at Rivals want all our members to have fun and be productive with their time here. We strongly believe that every member here has something to contribute, and if you do - you make a difference. Every member here is regarded as helpful in our contributed efforts to making Rivals the number one e-fed on the net!
