Now as some of you know I totally love mice, almost as much as I love cats, and rats are basically just big mice so I had to go see this! And it's awsome! My faves are Remy cos he's so kawaii and Linquini cos he's a poor loser lol, so who elsre has seen it and loves it like me?

I can't explain it, but Emile saying "That storm is getting closer..." always makes me laugh. Also, giant lab rat FTW. |

Was "Ratatouille" based on a children's book, like many famous shows and movies from France? (i.e. Madeleine, Eloise, etc)...or another "based on mice/rats" book? (i.e. Great mouse detective, Miss Bianca, Stuart Little). The movie doesn't look bad and I should take my nephew to see it (his Dad works in a movie theater). I'm not saying the movie's plot came from other books of a similar nature, but children's literature really works if it involves an overlooked animal (rats) or a fancy country (Paris, France). And can anyone prounounce his name correctly? Look at how it's spelled...type how you say it...and I will correct it later. In other words, the movie is of good quality...and computer graphics are superb. I yet to see the movie, maybe on DVD and my GF also took her baby son to seen it. |
