Ok...I made my mind on whether to see the movie: 2 stars, 1 thumb up (and down), $9 wasted for a "sleeper" and I rather see the "Harry Potter: order of the Phoenix" movie. Thanks Tril (now I'm on Live Journal) for the movie review, and sorry to tell the Simpsons fan base: the movie won't last another week. <_<

I think I watched the teaser trailer on youtube. Does it just show the bat symbol crumbling? Can't tell anything form that, which I guess is the point of a teaser trailer.

Crumbling, and a joker playing card flying at the screen with an evil laugh.

I think we all knew that Joker was the villian for some time though. There's a guy on Wrestlecrap that has like, a crapload of info on the film to the point of spoilers.

Well, don't tell Mimi on TS-D... she'll flip out! :lmao:

PS: $9 for a movie?? OMG! It's only $7.50 here ... the more I see how much people out on the coast pay for things makes me glad I'm not there  :lmao:

I don't think Mike saw it. It's really quite good. For the record, most who've seen it feel it was very good, and we all thought it was gonna suck.

And it is $9 for a movie here. If you go at late. Go at noon and it's $7.50.

I might see the movie one week. I'm not completely sure. If I do, I'll give my own review on it.

Wow.. and I think the late movies here are $7.50, but the "Matinee" shows (before late) are like $6 or $6.50

Oh sorry...I wasn't clear on the last review, but TSUG members complained about it...and No, I haven't told Mimi...and most TS-D members gave a different rating. Who's right or wrong on this? Will the Simpsons movie kill the show or not?

MNMR, I saw the movie last night (I could waited 2 mos. later at cinemark, the $1.50 ticket theater) with my GF and we liked it (and I haven't felt like getting up and leaving the seat). Except the movie isn't the best "the Simpsons" have offered, but a good movie nevertheless in comedy (some jokes went flat).

I'm able to follow the story and some scenes are memorable, except my GF was like "Wow...I gotta watch the Simpsons again. I knew this movie was gonna be a smash hit". I felt the same way when the first Simpsons episode aired: "Bart cheats on his test"...and I related to Bart like any 10-year old boy at the time.

The lesson is: Trillium is right and should never be questioned in anything. Ever.

Oh god...am I in trouble now? :lmao: Someone motorbike the glass dome to keep Springfield "safe" from pollution and throw the bomb meant to wipe that city clear off the map...into the air. BOOM! I hope that wasn't an uinintended spoiler. Rule #99: to question an "uber-mod" is not a good idea. :lmao:

I found the movie online like, a week ago.

It was probably up on Saturday July 28th.

No I did not download it.
